Fastighetsinformation - Få "Best of Both Worlds" med denna charmiga stuga på sjön i en lugn cirkel i Dennisport, Mid-Cape Cod. Du har tillgång till vattnet precis utanför din bakdörr med underbar utsikt över Swan Pond och bevarande land. Tillbringa tid på sjön eller på Sea Street eller Glendon stranden längs gatan. Swan Pond är ca 1,5 mil lång och förbinder till Swan River - som förbinder till stränderna och havet på Nantucket Sound. Fisk, kajak, kanot, segling, vindsurfing eller bara koppla av på denna mycket vackra sjö, det är upp till dig! Stugan har ett nytt däck och en privat bakgård som är rymlig nog att underhålla eller bara slappna av medan du tittar på den vackra utsikten och vilda djur. Svandammen är känd för sin bra fiske och kanotpaddling, denna sjö har ingen allmän tillgång för motorbåtar, så det är väldigt tyst. Stugan har 3/4 sovrum, (NY), Loft - med 2 enkelsängar. ett bad, utomhusdusch och kan sova upp till 8. Det är nyligen renoverat med nya golv och med kanot, 2 kajaker, (NY) 6 personer aluminium rad båt, uppblåsbar båt, mikrovågsugn, kabel-TV, WIFI, Roku Streaming, tvättmaskin, torktumlare, köksredskap och grill. Det är ett bra sätt att njuta av Cape Cod livsstil. Stugan ligger till stränderna, cykelleden, och restauranger (Chapins, Söndagsskolan, etc.). Du kan även gå till Clancy restaurang.

Sovrum kommer med kuddar och filtar. Måste leverera eget sängkläder. Sängkläder kan levereras till en avgift på 100 dollar (via vår rengöringsbyrå)

Relaxing 2 Week Stay

Great 2 week stay. House was very comfortable and back yard was amazing. Location was very convenient. Excellent communication with owner and easy check-in. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway spot

The house was adorable and very clean & well organized. The lake was lovely, and we had a lot of fun using the kayaks. Location was great too; it was a short drive to go-carts, trampolines, mini golf, shops, ice cream, restaurants, etc. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous yard

Had a great stay. The house was very clean and well stocked. The backyard was Amazing!! We loved the patio sectional couch, could sit there all day. Only suggestions would be newer beds and a new outdoor firepit. I would definitely rent again.

The quintessential Cape Cod Cottage!

It has everything you could want in a Cape Cod stay - water front, quiet location but near lovely downtown Harwichport, beaches, entertainment, and restaurants. Plenty of sleeping room, cedar shingles, blooming hydrangeas, two patios AND a deck, and an outdoor shower! Would definitely rent here again.

Perfect for our family and beautiful views

We had such a nice visit with my family. The house was very cute and cozy and accommodated the space that we needed. The backyard was great and view of the pond was beautiful. I wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed it more!

Swan Pond peace

This house was a real gem. The yard was beautiful, and we were fortunate to have the swans visiting us almost every day. It’s a great location and I would definitely rent this place again.

Great stay

We had a terrific time at this property. We were looking for a quick get away before school started and this place was exactly what we needed. We hardly left because we had everything we needed there. We used the kayaks provided several times as well as the canoe. Thanks again!!

Lovely setting, a kayakers dream

The house is very quaint, well maintained, clean & tidy. The backyard is serene on Swan pond. Kayaking the pond to Swan River and out to Nantucket Cove was spectacular.

A beautiful property

We loved our stay on Indian Trail. The house looks small from the outside but it is very spacious with 4 bedrooms. It is very clean, quiet and extremely comfortable with every amenity you could want. The view over Swan Pond is gorgeous and we spent many happy hours sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. It is in a great location for visiting all areas of the Cape which we did. There are lots of really good local eateries nearby. If you enjoy canoeing and boating this is a perfect spot. We would highly highly recommend this property and . communication with John was great.

Pond front beautiful house

House was beautifully situated on a saltwater pond. Found horseshoe crabs and blue crabs all week. Lots of nice outdoor spaces to hang out and kayaks, canoe to use as well. House was as described and clean. We would certainly consider this house again. Thank you.

Wonderful stay

We loved staying here. Location in MidCape allowed us to visit the entire area. We loved the view of the pond and it actually was much bigger than we thought. We rode the bike trails, visited Provincetown, took the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. Went to an amazing beach. We rode our bikes in the neighborhood and took out the canoe. I would not hesitate to book this property again

Lovely cottage like feel

My husband and I stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary. It was quiet, serene, and private. We loved the backyard, the location was great to get to stores and restaurants and the inside of the home was comfy, updated and super clean. We will be coming back. Also, such a bonus that check in is at 2pm, it really allows you to enjoy your first day there. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect spot

I like to find a different place to stay at the Cape every year. This house was perfect. The views, the location, and the size of the house all perfect. We spent all our time outside in the backyard. I don't think I'll be looking for a different place anymore.

WE loved everything about the house. I can't think of anything that would be lacking in amenities. My husband had just had a major surgery so he recuperated in place while we visited the cape. He had a wonderful spot to watch osprey, egrets, swans geese etc. The house was very clean and although I seemed to have a VRBO glitch John rectified matters in top time. Thank you!

Nice relaxing place

The house was very clean and all was as described and everything worked well. Its a great setting on the pond, very peaceful - we took advantage of the canoe. Great for biking, the rail trail is less than 2 miles away and beaches easily reached. The deck table was broken but that wasnt a problem as the weather was not the best! The house was just right for our stay.

Perfect first trip to the cape

Had the best spring break trip with our kids. The place was clean, efficient and had everything you needed. The backyard was very peaceful, kayaks, hammock and we even had a visit from a beautiful swan. It was central to everything we wanted to visit and just enough space for all of us. Communication was simple and any questions were answered instantly. Loved every minute of our trip and would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful place!

Beautiful spot on Swan pond

Our family is familiar with this section of the Cape. This very nice home was on the end of swan pond. The access was fabulous and the amenity of kayaks, a canoe and row boat made water access so easy. The last day a swan mom dad and baby came upon the lawn to visit us! Sunsets so beautiful.

Great Location

What a lovely Cape house to rent! My husband and I choses this house specifically for the pond location. After a day at the beach, or if you wanted to just laze around, you had so many options at your fingertips; Kayaks, Canoe, hammock naps, lawn games. We adored the charm of the Somes' home! Especially the outdoor shower which is a MUST down the cape! Thank you, John and Laura, for opening your home to our family. We truly enjoyed every second of our stay!

A Hidden Gem

I've been vacationing on the Cape since I was small and never knew this little neighborhood existed - it is truly a hidden gem. The property is just the right blend of traditional cottage mixed with modern decor. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The yard has seating areas perfectly placed for sun or shade at any time of day. We loved being able to get out on the kayaks at a moment's notice and my husband caught a striper (almost a keeper!) right from the yard. We wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again.

Truly the Best of Both Worlds

The house was just as described, clean and tastefully decorated in a beach theme and well maintained. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. The air conditioners cooled the entire house nicely. We enjoyed the five seating areas in the yard. The pond was perfect for kayaking. The outside shower was handy. Our favorite beach, Mayflower, was just an easy scenic drive away. The owners were very helpful, and responded quickly to our emails. This is an exceptional rental ! We had a wonderful week !

Lovely home in beautiful location

This house radiates the love that has been put into it by the owners - it is comfortable, tastefully appointed, and very homey. We have found that not all properties are as listed online, but this was even nicer than the pictures. The pond is a nature lover's dream. As kayakers, it was wonderful to not have to cart ours, because there are 4 on the property already. The daily presence of egrets, herons, kingfishers, swans and the call of an osprey lifted our spirits. It is a slice of the Outer Cape on the Mid-Cape! Our grandsons LOVED catching (and releasing) crabs and tiny pond dwellers. We loved returning to the super comfortable patio, hammock and outdoor firepit after exploring and beach visits. We plan on returning as soon as possible!

Beautiful Cottage on Swan Lake

This beautifully decorated, fully equipped cottage on Swan Lake is perfect for families with children of all ages. We really enjoyed the layout of the cottage and the careful considerations the owners took in decorating and furnishing it. Kids and adults enjoyed using the kayaks and canoes multiple times a day; there were plenty of board games and indoor spaces if you happen to have a rainy day. The table and chairs by the lake were perfect for relaxing and drinking your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The swans on the lake visit most mornings and evenings and add to the tranquility of your stay. There was so much to do at the cottage, but so many stores, restaurants, beaches and miniature golf that were close to drive or walk to. Friendly neighbors and a quiet neighborhood added to the relaxation of the vacation. We did not need anything, but did have a question for John and Laura who replied very quickly. Perfect cottage for a relaxing family vacation.

We are John and Laura and live on the North Shore located 20 minutes North of Boston. We are two working professionals with two beautiful daughters. Both Laura and I came from families that would make it a tradition to plan their annual vacations on Cape Cod. We were married at the Lighthouse Inn on West Dennis Beach. The area has always been a draw for us and we always looking for reasons to visit. That's when we decided to purchase a home in Dennisport. We are happy to share our getaway with travelers and we hope you and your family will have similar memories of the Cape that we have created over the years. The cottage has been visited by people from around the world. Some recent visitors have traveled from Hong Kong, Ireland, Canada, Denmark, England and many states throughout the US. Recently, we had a couple exchange wedding vows in our backyard.

Location, Location, Location! Its all about location! Fresh/Salt water lake with a river that's connected to the local beaches, being less than 5 minutes from some amazing beaches on Nantucket Sound - was some of the draws to purchasing our cottage. We also love the street being located on a quiet circle - making it safe for walking, riding your bike or going for a jog. The yard is quiet and tranquil with nature views and easy access to the water. The lake is beautiful and very quiet. The back yard overlooking the water is both private and well cared for. Great for BBQing, relaxing on the hammock, sitting down by the water or having dinner on the deck.

Having the private deck with water views is rare on the Cape and its something we look forward to every time we visit. The cottage is always very clean and comfortable. Decorated with traditional Cape Cod décor, the cottage offers water views from almost every window. Swan Pond cottage is a year round cottage that is available to rent in the off season. So, if you are looking to get away and would like water views in the Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring - please consider the beautiful views from our cottage getaway. Every season on the Cape is unique, especially on Swan pond.
