Located in the mountains just a few minutes from lake Almanor and Mountain town of Chester.Creeks, Hunting, Fishing, UTV or ATV mountain off-roading , within 2-3 miles distance.... Winter is special and beautiful with snow and perfect setting for Christmas and Thanksgiving away . 2 blocks away within walking distance is a quaint restaurant offering home cooked food. All towns people are very friendly welcoming all who visit. Spring is delightful in the pine tree setting all around. and the aroma of pine where squirrels, rabbits, deer are visible everywhere in the rustling woods..

It was a very pleasent stay, the location is great super close to the park. Great house to stay for a weekend for 4 adults.

Cute little cabin

My family and I stayed here for 5 days. We enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable for all 3 of us and our 2 doggies. The neighborhood was very quiet and it was the perfect location for us. We visited Mineral, Mill Creek, Manton, Twin Meadows, Chester, and Lake Almanor. They have a restaurant/general store walking distance from the cabin. The cabin was very well stocked and even had extra toothbrushes/toothpaste. There was plenty of extra fluffy blankets and towels. The mini split heater works fantastic. The washer and dryer unit was such a huge plus to have and it was stocked with detergent. The smart tv allows you to sign into your account on Prime, Netflix, YouTube ect. Debi was very nice and always got back to me promptly. Check in and check out was easy. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back. I would recommend this cabin it's cute, comfortable, and well stocked for your stay. Thanks again Debi.

Lovely Cabin

My husband and I were visiting Lassen Volcanic Park. This cute cabin in Mineral was the perfect location! Close to the park entrance, restaurant very close by, no other town would work as well. Property owners were very responsive answering questions and had recommended getting gas before leaving the main highway, so helpful as services are limited near the park . Cabin has all the basics and more. Great getaway, quiet and relaxing.

Lassen Volcanic base camp

This cabin made for a great base camp while visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park. It had everything we could need (and more) inside. The location was very close to the main road through the park and was within walking distance of the Mineral Lodge which had some great food.

Lassen National Park visit

My wife and I stayed at this property during our recent visit to Lassen National Park. This property was a short drive to the park and very easy to find. The property was clean, the kitchen very well stocked and the bed very comfortable. I was impressed with the personal items the owner thought of such as night lights, toothbrushes/cases and toothpaste! If in the area, I would stay here again.

Great stay

We had a very relaxing stay at this cabin. I love that the hosts put in basic essentials and treats for guests. Location was perfect, only a few minutes from the entrance of Lassen Volcanic National park.

Wonderful Place to stay to explore Larsen area!

We loved this great place. In the adorable town of Mineral, this cabin was the perfect place to stay to explore the area. Right down the road from Lassen Volcanic NP. It was comfortable and the owners did everything possible to make the stay homey and easy. Well stocked with all you could need. We would highly recommend it.

Charming Cabin

We wanted to explore Mr. Lassen National Park. This cabin is located about 15 minutes away in a small community of what appear to mostly mountain getaway homes. This home was clean and very well provisioned. It was like borrowing a friend’s home. The fenced backyard/patio was an added bonus for our dog

Gateway to Lassen National Park

Perfect location for my daily trips into the national park. Everything I needed, full kitchen, washer/dryer, comfortable bed and nice deck to enjoy my morning coffee. Very peaceful and quiet. Thank you!!

Two nights in Mineral

I visited Mineral to hike in Lassen. The property was very well maintained and clean! Debi was incredibly helpful and responsive! I would very happily stay here again for my next visit!

Well-equipped mountain retreat

We really enjoyed our stay here. This is one of the most well-equipped VRBO properties we have stayed at. There are so many nice touches - nightlights, cozy fleece blankets everywhere, recliners for relaxing, enough towels for an army, extra tooth brushes, and even a glow in the dark toilet seat. The kitchen has everything, including top notch Le Creuset cookware. We enjoyed relaxing in the zero gravity chairs on the back deck. There's good Starlink internet, good water pressure in the shower, even a washer and dryer. In short, everything you could ask for in a vacation property.

Great house and location

This house was clean and very well stocked with everything we might need. They even left some snack out which my kids loved. Great location to Lassen Volcanic National Park. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Marvelous cabin

The cabin is remarkably well equipped. It takes a while for the two heaters (propane and electric) to warm the rooms on cold days. The bed is very comfortable. The owners are very responsive.

The unit was cozy and comfortable, but wasn’t cleaned up from the previous stay. However the owner was understanding and provided a partial refund. Would recommend!

girls weekend

Had a wonderful weekend at the cabin. It was close to the park, where we spent most of the day. Mineral is a cute little town and people were friendly.
