The proximity to the beach and pier was nice. We stayed for a month. The laundry area could use a refreshing. I would stay there again. BTW November was quite windy and chilly too.

During an emergency situation such as tropical Storm or Hurricane, communications with renters is essential. Parking lot flooded, this was mitigated by city of Isle Of Palms allowing us (renters) to park in the Municipal lot. Many Thanks for this.

Just perfect!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with the condo location and amenities. The bed was comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The only suggestion I would make is to possibly put umbrellas at the pool for some shade. Will definitely go back!

Sea Cabin A

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were bugs in unit and the wifi didn't work all week. Very hard to work when you are working off of your phone. Management was made aware of the situation. Management sprayed for bugs, nothing on the wifi. Housekeeping showed up a day before our check out and seemed very confused that we had a Sunday checkout. Will not be staying again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely small 1 bedroom unit. Updated bathroom and kitchen with icemaker in the fridge (not always an icemaker in Sea Cabins). Loved the privacy aspect of the balcony, but 1st floor view suffered from being so close to the dunes. Love the location of Sea Cabins in the IOP "business district" access to pier and small variety of good restaurants within easy walking distance. Location is always my first consideration for a place to stay and this is it!

Condo

The maintenance people were excellent as well as island Reslty staff. Proximity to Harris Teeter, Target and 526 was great. Learned not to have mail forwarded even though I stayed for 2 months.

Annual beach getaway

Loved the new shower but would suggest one grab bar to be installed bc when shutting eyes when using shampoo. It can be a little daunting turning around to rinse. We have used Island Realty for 20 years & have always enjoyed our time in Isle of Palms, SC! ❤️🤩

Beach trip!

Cozy Stay with Gorgeous View

I was working from home due to the pandemic, and this was the perfect place to stay. The cabin has comfortable furniture and is kept very clean. I loved watching the sunset from the patio. This cabin was well stocked with kitchen supplies, and had modern appliances. I used the coffee maker and other appliances every day. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Reviewer Comments: What I loved about Sea Cabin #102A:*Close proximity to pier and beach walkways (first floor, so not as good of view of beach, but cute grassy area right below)*Door code instead of key*Unit was very clean, updated and well decorated (liked Sea Turtle theme)*Layout, including extra counter with barstools (would be better if barstools were counter height instead of bar height) and bed orientation with access to both sides*Bunk in hall (kids loved it) with storage above and below (perfect spot for luggage underneath)*Furnishings: -loved the rocker/glider in LR, comfortable sofa (sofa bed not as comfortable) -dining table with extra chairs in addition to bar seating -comfortable mattress on bed with nightstands/lamps on both sides (drawers could use handles...didn't know they were there for days!) -TV in bedroom in addition to LR -perfect sized dresser in closet and plenty of closet space -balcony bistro table and chairs*Ceiling fans in bedroom and living area*Blackout curtains in bedroom and living room*Plenty of nice sized towels, fluffy pillows and linens*Cotton quilt on bed instead of comforter *Nice vanity in bathroom with granite counter, large mirror and medicine cabinet*Kitchen had nice stainless steel appliances and everything we needed (loved Corelle dishes)... could use hot pads and smaller coffee cupsWe felt very much at home in this unit and hope to be back to stay there again!

Bad smell and mold

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was a horrible smell in the condo. Mold was present in numerous areas of the condo. Mainly by the vents. The couch was far from comfortable and the curtain was partially falling off the wall. Screen was partially pulled out of the sliding door. Everything in the utility closet was moldy. The bed throw pillows had mold on them. No, I didn't notify management because the entire place needed completely cleaned. We do have pictures. We didn't want to have to find different accommodations or hassle with it. I'm confident that Island Realty would have done something about it but with covid, I didn't wanna deal with it to be honest. We just used our own items and made the best of it. The location was fantastic and we appreciated the proximity to all things beachy. The star of the condo was the bed, very comfy!! Yes, I would stay with Island Realty again but definitely not this condo. I kept looking at the little note left by the housekeeper and the inspector thinking this is acceptable to someone?!?!

Needs Attention

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our week in IOP, however unit 102A needs attention. Very musty smell upon arrival, mold starting to accumulate on hallway ceiling and in bathroom. Baseboards were very dirty, especially in the kitchen. Food splatter on the wall. Was not swept well. Housekeeping has not done a good job. We kept thermostat on 70-72 however the unit was not very comfortable. It stayed hot all week, didn’t stay very cool even with fans running. Towel bar in bathroom was broken. I will not be staying in this unit again.
