A lovely stay close to downtown

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful; the kids really enjoyed the upstairs room to themselves. We would stay here again!

Immaculate home. Decorating was fantastic. Generous bedrooms, comfortable beds. Host does not skimp on amenities. Perfect location to walk downtown or hop on the highway. Too many good things to mention. I’ve been staying in VRBOs since its inception and this is hands down the best property we have seen. Cheers to the host!

Awesome Home

The Cross St. House is a 10. Every room is beautifully decorated and clean. It has all the amenities you will need. Great location close to downtown. We would stay here again.

Warm and welcoming home

My husband and I stayed for just over a week visiting our grandchildren ages 7 and 3. This is a well built, well maintained lovely home. The hosts thought of everything needed by renters and generously supply the house. The kitchen is a treat! It was rainy and cool while we were there. The grandchildren loved playing in the upstairs bedroom where there were many fun toys. I would not recommend this house for toddlers, but our ages were fine. The house is a beautiful 15 walk to the Tribute Trail and the same distance to town. We highly recommend it. The host was helpful and easy to contact.

Lovely Home

This home was perfect for our group of 6. It is so charming and comfortable. I was really impressed with the thoughtful details that the house had (coffee, spare toothbrushes, soap, etc.). The house had everything we needed. It was very clean. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Upscale and Lovely

We are a family of six (grandparents, parents, two kids of 6 and 2yrs) in town for a family wedding weekend. Arriving at the house we found the rental to live up to and exceed all our expectations. Everything was beautiful, in perfect working order, and comfortable to say the very least. The kids were delighted to find toys and books to play with and their two mattress beds all made up for a cozy night. We adults enjoyed the Nespresso machine in the morning with a wonderful assortment of pods, yum!! All the beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels ready in the bathrooms, and the kitchen well stocked to make meals. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat!

Beautiful House

The house was beautiful. It was updated well and well decorated. It may not be the best with young or messy children as the house has many antiques that were in great condition. The proximity to downtown was good, with just a short walk over the Pine Street bridge.

JJ’s Wedding

What a lovely place! This house is charming and well equipped! As a previous owner of a lodge, this place meets high standards! We were there for a wedding in Grass Valley and was close to shopping and to restaurants. The beautiful outback patio was wonderful to sip coffee that was very well equipped also. Beds comfy, bathrooms roomy. Overall our stay was great! You will be our go to if we head that way again! Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Guest room has memory foam King bed, luxury bedding and is steps from guest bath with walk in shower and vintage sink. Main bedroom has memory foam King bed, luxury bedding, sitting area with sofa, attached bath with walk-in shower and separate soaking tub. Loft has game table, 2 twin floor beds, sitting area with 55" Smart TV, books, games and toys. TV room has comfy sofa with lounge, club chairs, 75" Smart TV, and bar cart. Front patio has club chairs and cocktail tables and overlooks the front yard. Back patio is private and shaded with mature trees, dining set, club chairs, fireplace and BBQ. There is a Peloton bike, weight bench, yoga mat, smart T.V. and large desk with surge protector (work space) in the basement gym.
