Den här underbara 4 sovrum 3 badrum hem ligger i prestigefyllda Hound Ears Country Club och designades av den välkände arkitekten Claus Moberg med panoramafönster i varje rum.

Vi har precis köpt hem och gav den en komplett makeover inklusive trådlöst internet, uppdatera alla rum, och alla nya "Ägare kvalitet" möbler, sängkläder, kökstillbehör och mer.

De viktigaste våningen har stora greatroom med välvt ceder tak, vacker sten spis, stor platt-TV, Wii spelsystem och Blueray DVD-spelare. Köket har granit räknare och är fullt utrustad med gourmet köksredskap.

Det stora sovrummet ligger också på bottenvåningen. Detta sovrum har en dubbelsäng och har en platt-TV också.

Nedervåningen finns 3 sovrum och 2 badrum. Två av sovrummen har queen sängar och en (barnrum) har en våningssäng med 2 stort antal positiva och en tvilling rulla. Ett sovrum nere har en privat täckt däck med hängmatta gunga. Det finns stora platt-TV i varje sovrum. Det finns också en Blueray DVD-spelare i barnens rum.

Vi har flera uteplatser som gör att du kan njuta av naturen på det finaste! Du kan välja att koppla av och njuta av den svala berg vindar medan du ligger i en av de hängmattor som finns på däck eller så kan du njuta av att sitta på verandan lyssna till den vackra ljudet av naturlig källa som sipprar ner stora stenblock på bergssidan. Båda områdena är så avkopplande du kan känna din stress smälta bort!

This was such a wonderful week in the mountains, and a great place to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary! The home is gorgeous, and so is the surrounding property. My parents have some mobility issues, but they didn't have any trouble getting around on the ground floor and the master bedroom. The rest of us were very comfortable in the downstairs rooms with a beautiful view of the surrounding forest. The location in the gated community is very peaceful, and the staff at the front gate were always friendly and helpful. We spent the week either relaxing at the house (we cooked several meals there, and the weather was perfect for having dinner on the deck overlooking the forest), or visiting Boone and Blowing Rock and Banner Elk, all of which are convenient to the property (lots of great restaurants and stores in the area, and of course there's always hiking to do in the Blue Ridge Parkway). The host made renting and checking in extremely easy, and she always responded quickly to any questions I had about our stay. I highly recommend this rental!

Beautiful Woods

We stayed here for our trip to the Highland Games on Grandfather Mountain. The location was close enough to the games and far enough from the crowds. The only thing that I may have miss-read in the description was that three of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs which is basically the basement. There was only one (1) bedroom on the main floor. Four of us were seniors stairs aren’t always friendly.

Great family time here

This house was great for our family (7 adults, 1 baby) to meet at and stay a week. The wraparound porches were amazing, 2 large hammocks were used by most of us, and we used the grill and ate outside for 2 of our meals. The house and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful! We saw deer right outside several days. The house is completely updated and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home & Location

Central location to everything in the area, but away from the chaos. We had deer outside our windows all day every day. No street or neighbor noise, just relaxation. Neighborhood could be tricky driving/parking for large SUVs or trucks although we saw others handling it with ease, and we were able to maneuver in an Armada.

Awesome July 4th getaway!

Blowing Rock is an amazing place during the week of July 4th! Cedar Retreat was the perfect place for our family to stay for our brief Independence Day getaway- very comfortable and well suited for cooking delicious meals and fun hanging out. Property Manager was easily accessible and super great to work with. We would come back again!

Home is well decorated and aesthetically pleasing. Very quiet, secluded, and peaceful. Had to do some of our own cleaning upon check-in but overall a great stay.

Great cabin!!

My family and I stayed the week of New Years. Everything about the cabin was amazing. It was very clean and had everything needed for a family of 7. Shannaz was very accommodating and on top of everything. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Relaxing getaway and great location

Really enjoyed our stay over a long weekend. The location is great - easy to get to sights in Boone and Blowing Rock, and the house has plenty of room. Really enjoyed the fireplace and views from each room. Shanaaz is wonderful, she even turned up the heat so I wouldn't arrive to a cold house. Excellent weekend with friends to leave work and responsibilities behind for a few days.

Long weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was lovely and so comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The view was amazing and the deck was very welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet and private. The owner was quick to respond to a question. The location was great, away from the busyness of downtown Boone but close enough to get there fairly quickly.We would recommend staying here.

Weekend Getaway

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway! We originally had planned to drive to the mountains for the day to look at the fall leaves; but when we saw this house on Vrbo was available, we decided to book it. Shanaaz, our host, was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The house was beautiful with a large living area with a wood burning fireplace. The view was spectacular, and we enjoyed sitting on the wrap around deck. I would definitely recommend this house!

Thought of Everything.

Perfect last minute get away for our family. Tucked away in a gorgeous country club but still feels like you’re out in the woods a all alone. A family of five all had their own space. So clean and it felt so much like a cozy cabin that you wouldn’t want to leave. 5 stars!

Relaxing and wonderful weekend

This place was so great. The back deck goes across the entire house and is spacious with plenty of seating. The hammocks were wonderful. There was plenty of space inside for the 5 of us and we would have been comfortable with more! The house is exactly like the pictures. We had such a nice time!

Wonderful stay

The property manager, Shanaaz and her husband were wonderful hosts. Very friendly and super helpful. The property was just what we were looking for. 4 nice bedrooms. In the woods and very peaceful but close to Blowing Rock, Boone and Banner Elk. Very centrally located to all three.

Great place

Perfect for our 42nd year college reunion! Four couples met for a weekend reunion. The beds were perfect. The house was spacious and clean. The location was great. We were already planning our return visit before we left.

Great mountain Retreat

Very nice place to stay during our family ski trip. The house was easy to get to and had wonderful views. Only issue we had was the hot water took a long time to warm up and the upstairs bathroom shower was not meant for taller people but for sure not anything to stop me from renting again and telling others about the house!

Perfect Weekend

Our family decided to visit Blowing Rock and our children wanted to ski so this was the PERFECT location for both! The house is beautiful and has everything you need. Master bedroom is on main floor and 3 bed/2 bath downstairs. All beautiful, comfy, and clean. We will definitely return. Shanaaz communicated quickly to a few questions I had. Excellent service all around. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

We love this area and the gated community of Hound Ears. This home is centrally located to everything this area has to offer.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The front of the home faces a huge rock with a natural spring flowing down it's face and under the walkway leading up to the house. We also have created a 'bay of hammocks' for enjoying the wonderful mountain air.
