Ligger norr om Leakey i Rancho Real, är denna stuga perfekt för en romantisk semester semester. Stugan har utsikt över Bluff Creek som matar in den västra stift i Frio River.
Lyssna på det vatten som strömmar från den privata dammen bräddavlopp. Däcket är perfekt bara för att umgås, titta på fiskar och fåglar nedan eller underhållande och matlagning på grillen.

Den mycket charmiga stuga kan sova 3. Det finns en mycket bekväm drottning säng och en enda bäddsoffa med ett minne skum topper. Much Needed Stay

Awesome hosts, beautiful property, super clean, calming, the property dogs were helpful and adorable, the vibe is out of this world. It was romantic and adventurous. The comfort and surroundings of the outdoor bed was phenomenal. Everything you need is in the house offered by the super hosts. The attention to detail is superb. We will be going there again.

15 year anniversary

The property was beautiful and Gary was a great host. Everything we needed was there. All we had to bring was food and drink. The place was very unique I think we enjoyed every moment there. Got to talk to Gary a couple of times and really enjoyed meeting him. Great guy. The only downside to this property if there is one would be more seclusion. There was more people and traffic nearby than I would have liked. Other than that we loved it and would definitely do it again. Thank you for opening your place up to us.

LOVED it!

perfect space, perfect surroundings, perfect hosts, perfect weekend! we enjoyed the hiking & seclusion, and we're definitely going back! recommend a truck if you have one, some area roads are dirt & gravel, but definitely navigable (we just wanted to explore more). we really don't wanna spread the word on this hidden paradise, but we can't NOT share how awesome it is. thanks Chris, for everything!

Great getaway!

The cabin is really cute and comfortable. It is small, but who wants to stay inside for long when the outside is so wonderful?!Chris and Gary are great hosts. They want you to feel at home, but are not intrusive in the least. It was great watching the hummingbirds and getting away from the city. My husband and I loved it!

So peaceful

Loved our stay ! So peaceful. The swing bed under the palapa was amazing. Hosts were wonderful. We loved our conversation with Gary. Rhodie and Panda (dogs) were excellent guides on our hike. Beautiful place away from it all.

Nice little getaway

This is a nice hidden gem. It was fun having to follow the written directions to get there. Chris and Gary were great hosts. Tons of birds to see. So serene. Hot tub was amazing too. We would visit again.

Relaxing stay

The property, host, and animals were very welcoming. We loved relaxing, listening to natural surroundings and totally decompressing. We had planned to day trip to some parks but found once we got to the cabin, we didnt want to leave. We were able to hike around the property and area and enjoyed paddle boating but most of all loved just disconnecting from the day to day and reconnecting with each other. Definitely one of our favorite stays!!

Peace and Tranquility

It was just what we needed. Wonderful property and a comfortable stay. We loved having happy wagging tails greet us when we arrived. The cabin was adorable! The highlight had to be the hanging bed patio. Listening to the water falling and gazing at the autumn colors from the patio was perfection!

Exceeded Our Expectations

When we found this property, we were looking for something unique and off the beaten path. We like a quiet stay, non-touristy, and a home away from home. This was a perfect getaway that more than met all of our guiderails. Everything was neat and clean and we just felt so relaxed. We cooked together on the outdoor grill, enjoyed very good wine, and relaxed in the hot tub. The view was spectacular, the sounds of the trickling water from the dam made for some much needed relaxing naps, and the fire pit made our evenings into a fine dining experience. We were also able to catch up on some good reading on the outdoor floating bed, not to mention some pretty awesome bird watching. We hiked the trail that led to the top of the property accompanied by 3 very experienced canine tour guides - Panda, Roady & Boone, who showed us a breathtaking view. All in all this was one of the best vacation experiences that we've had, and we look forward to doing this again one day. Thank you!

A Paradise Get Away Gem

The cabin is surrounded by nature with waterfalls,birds and beautiful trees. It is extremely peaceful . We enjoyed the palapa area with the swinging bed. Cabin was fully stocked with all the needed amenities along with a hot tub and separate outside patio for grilling. Location of cabin is off the highway but yet close enough to be able to run into town if needed. Hostess was always available and extremely helpful for any questions. questions. So glad we found this gem and will certainly come back.

Must Visit!!

If you are looking for a stay that is off the grid, then this is where you will want to go. My husband and I had an amazing time at this cabin. We loved everything about it…the decorations, amenities, peace and quiet…really everything. One of our favorite parts was the hike with our furry tour guides Panda and Roady, they were absolutely awesome. Chris and her husband were also amazing, very welcoming. I highly recommend this location, you will not be disappointed!

Private getaway

We went for our honeymoon, cooked out on the grill, hiked, took the paddleboat out to see the fall colors on the water and listened to water falling over the dam each morning and evening. It is isolated, except for the hosts and a few homes nearby. No verizon service, but wifi and a local phone available free. The hosts were helpful and very nice, but respected our privacy.

We fell in love with the cabin when we arrived! You can fall asleep to the sound of running water on a hot summer day, and with a cute dog to keep us company, I'm sure you'll love it too. We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful cabin, beautiful location and fabulous host!

We stayed at Chris’ cabin for a weekend getaway to float the Frio. The location is far enough away to be away from everything and close enough to Leakey to quickly get to town for your dining and activities! Upon arrival at the cabin, we found it secluded even though it’s next door to the host. You can tell she took great effort to provide privacy for her guests. Walking into the cabin we found a personal note and a bottle of wine which was such a nice touch! Chris provided drinking water and gave us a run down of the cabin and it’s amenities. If you’re looking to relax, this cabin is quiet except for the sound of running water from the creek below the bluff. We saw deer, turkeys, foxes and tons of birds including Cardinals everywhere and hummingbirds who came right up to the palapa while we lounged around and watched! Chris had great recommendations for the local eateries and activities and check in on us several times during our stay! Great experience, would definitely stay again!

Like being in Hawaii!

This is such an extraordinary place I words can't even begin to express how special it is! The setting truly makes you feel like your are in the tropics complete with the sound of a waterfall and all kinds of birds making music. It was the perfect peaceful place to unwind, relax and enjoy the beauty. The unit itself is immaculately clean and had everything we needed to cook, hang out and enjoy. The owners are delightful and their greeter Panda was a joy! I highly recommend this place, I myself will be back!
