Kom och varva ner i den lugna kanjonen under Vintergatan som du aldrig sett och stek marshmallows pÄ eldstaden. Om du letar efter mer action, ta dig ner till Garner State Park för den nattliga dansen under stjÀrnorna under sommaren.

Floden Àr perfekt för barn, inte för djup, men flera simma "hÄl". Parkera dina stolar i floden och koppla av med en kall drink medan barnen blir vilda och fria! Tyst - ingen genom knölar - en privat flodstrÀcka som bara Ätnjuts av omgivande markÀgare.

Perfekt för fÄglar pÄ vÄren, de som söker sommarskötsel i floden, löptittare pÄ hösten och snöfÄglar pÄ vintern.

The unit was exceptionally clean. The wife and I were amazed at how well kept it was even though they allow pets. We had a very relaxing time the four days we were there.

Check-in was super easy and directions to the cabin were very helpful. Christy, our host, was extremely responsive to our questions and requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to be back as soon as possible! The stargazing and wildlife were spectacular. The crazy rains prevented us from enjoying river time, but it’s very nice private access.

Dark Skies was GREAT!

This vacation home has everything you could possibly need. We loved our stay, the stars on that deck at night are AWESOME!! The private river access was nice for the kids to play. Just a short drive to Garner State Park to float the river. We would definitely stay again!

Quiet Getaway

Nice quiet getaway in Leakey. Nicely located to the FrĂ­o river and other activities. The view is great. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen is stocked. There is a swim hole near by. Our family had a nice time. We tubed down the frĂ­o, went to Joe Jimmy's dancing and went into town for some items and coffee at Josh's.

Wonderful stay!

Great location, amazing views, and perfect river access for little ones. The house had everything we needed for us to enjoy our stay. The private river access was clean and clear, our kids had a blast and it was perfect for us adults to sit and relax. Looking forward to returning next year!

Perfect Memorial Weekend getaway!

Beautiful hill country home

We had a great time at this property. The view is amazing and the location is very peaceful. Very close to the Frio river access and we had the river all to ourselves. The property was also very well equipped in the kitchen and the charcoal grill and fire pit were great. WiFi was great too.

Great house

My family of 5 stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. The house was perfect for us. We had access to the river which we used multiple times a day. The surroundings were quiet and allowed for us to unplug and do things together. Great area to walk or hike.

The location is absolutely beautiful stunning and relaxing. The house was fully stocked for preparing meals. The drive is peaceful and beautiful to town. Only con is since it’s a pet friendly place there was tons of dog hair on surfaces, pillows, beds, towels, I swept several times and was still pulling dog hair off me and out of my mouth. The host was very responsive and communicated very well

Great Getaway

Our family went for New Years and it was perfect. We enjoyed being away from the city and loved the quiet. We enjoyed walking to the river, skipping rocks, sitting on the porch and building a fire. I don't think I appreciated the remoteness of the house, it was a pleasant surprise.

The place was nicely located in Leakey area with a great view of the river valley. Only complaint was sink light in kitchen was burned out and made it a bit dark on the countertop.

I've owned this cabin in Leakey, Texas since 2006. My family lived in the cabin for several years, but we now live in Boerne. We love the Leakey area so much, and hope you enjoy our little slice of the Frio Canyon.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This property is perfect for families with younger children. This is the 'quiet' part of the river. Unlike closer to ConCan, you won't see or hear high school and college kids partying. You'll only hear the quiet sounds of the river flowing, and maybe a coyote or two yipping at night.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Parts of Real County have been designated Dark Skies areas, and we strive to make sure you can enjoy the truly remarkable views of the Milky Way at the Frio River Cabin. This his house has an amazing front porch and brand new composite deck. The deck adds over 360 square feet of outdoor living space. There's also a new fire pit and plenty of room for everyone to find their own quiet space, inside or out.
