Wonderful week at the beach!

Our family had a wonderful time at the beach. House met all of our needs and having such a great pool was an added bonus. Will definitely rent again.

Lovely property!

Very nice house, good floor plan for large groups and families. Pool is a plus. Beach is quiet and uncrowded. Owner very attentive.

Nice house for family group of 15. Very well equipped with better appliances than most. Lovely pool and easy access to the great beach. Owner was very accommodating to a couple of our special needs.

Great space with beautiful water access

We had a girls’ weekend, party of 14, and had a wonderful time. The house was very comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone. The master suite, in particular, has beautiful views. The pool and ocean access kept most of us outside for the majority of our stay. Would recommend.

Terrible experience with owner/condition of home

rbo reviewThe owner has a process to meet renters at the home for check-in. I asked days before how to get into the home and Tim (owner) said to call him on our way. I called him multiple times over the course of 3 hours traveling to the property and when I finally got ahold of him he was crying about personal life issues and had not left Fayetteville to come to the beach to let us into the home. Check-in was scheduled for 4p, he told us he’d be there by 4:45p. He arrived after 6:30pm. When Tim arrived, he was disoriented and angry, and we soon learned the house was filthy and not at all ready for our group. He left the home around 9p without finishing cleaning or giving us any instructions about home access, gate access, WiFi, etc. The kitchen was a mess with crumbs, old food, cockroaches on the counter. Zero beds in the home were made, which the owner said he does not do (according to him, it’s the renters job). Carpets were stained, mattress pads and comforters were stained and not clean. There were hairs and trash in every bathroom. This house is not being taken care of. The owner is not kind, communicative or accommodating. There is no WiFi. There are no smoke detectors or carbon monoxide monitors. There’s no vent above the stove. The dishwasher doesn’t work. The pool slide doesn’t work. There is no hose on the walkway to/from the beach. There is no outdoor shower. I strongly advise travelers not to book this property or any property under this ownership.

No need to ever leave the house.

Functionally this place is perfect. Private beach access, no need to ever leave the house! Our family of 16 (13 adults and 3 kids) had plenty of space to sleep, eat, and enjoy each other's company. The outdoor setup is great and going back-and-forth from the house to the beach was a breeze. For the price, I would have expected the house to be more updated on the inside, but this did not take away from quality time with family.

Perfect getaway for large groups

16 of my closest girlfriends and I stayed at this property for our annual girls weekend and we had an absolute blast! Mr. and Mrs. Jackson were more than accommodating and walked us through the home so we knew where everything was and how everything worked. The property was extremely clean (cleaner than any nice hotel I've ever stayed at) to include the linens being ironed. Due to the wonderful hospitality of the owners, the location and cleanliness of the property I would definitely reserve this home again! I would recommend this property to anyone who has a large family or group of friends looking for an amazing retreat.

Lives up to it's name!

This property has all that's needed to have a great vacation. Plenty of room in the house, a great pool, excellent beach, and a pier! Owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

My wife and I fell in love with Ocean Isle Beach and decided to make it our home away from home. We discovered the private gated community on the far west end of the island! Once through the gates, we were in heaven, 30 beautiful sound and beachfront executive homes with very little traffic. Our children had the choice to swim in the pool, play in the playroom, splash in the ocean, look for crabs in the sound during low tide and jet ski and fish during high tide! Come see our One of a Kind home for yourself!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our home is different than most homes on the island because we have a Baldwin Grand piano and a console piano overlooking the sound and on the top floor another piano overlooking the ocean and the sound. Our playroom boasts a full size pool table fridge microwave and indoor basketball for kids on rainy days. We have Bluetooth stereo for around the pool and inside playroom the pool has a slide and water features lighted palms and a private walkway to the beach
