Good host but the place was a bit outdated

Host was good. No issues to report. The place was in a good spot, clean but outdated The bed needs to be replaced, the tub is too big to fill with hot water, the dryer didn’t dry the first time and some other odds and ends. Had a bit of an issue with management of the property but nothing to do with the host or the unit. Everything to do with the front desk and they miscommunication.

Exactly what we needed

I traveled with my elderly parents and the location was perfect. Everything was clean and we had a wonderful time. The patio area was perfect for our morning coffee. Overall a great stay and we look forward to returning.

Amazing Location

Nice Bahama Bay condo

This is a very nice corner unit condo with easy access to the pools and splash pad. We have stayed in this resort several times and have never been disappointed. This condo is well worth the money.

Awesome time!

The unit was much nicer than the pictures showed and was located on the 1st floor close to the pool & splash pad which was great with kids. Very laid back and not crowded at all which was surprising. Everyone had a great time and we would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Property in literally the best location. We were there for a cheerleading Competition and it was so central to everywhere we needed to be. We didn’t use the resort in terms of pool and restaurant but purely because we just didn’t have the time. We would 100% book again x

Bahama Bay "Animal Kingdom"

Lovely home with all the amenities. We felt very comfortable in our home away from home. Everything was impeccably clean. The decor was charming and definitely defined the "Animal Kingdom" theme. We especially enjoyed sitting on the screened-in Lanai either having our morning coffee or an evening adult beverage. The grounds were also well maintained with walking paths allowing easy access to the two pools. With our best regards to the owners and we hope to stay at your lovely home when we return to Florida in the future.

Wonderful Home

We had a lovely stay. The home came fully equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable Beds and recliner sofas were an absolutely dream after long days at the park. We had plenty of towels, crockery and cutlery for our family of 6. The pools and splash park around the complex were great for all the kiddies. I used the spa 'Cenote' in the main club house (additional cost depends on treatment) for a well needed manicure and it was excellent. The journey to the parks was around 35/40 minutes but we were here at spring break so a few more cars on the road probably cost us the extra 10. We wouldn't hesitate to book here again for any future trips.

Beautiful unit!

Nicely appointed and comfortable. Unit needed some minor repairs which the host was going to do upon checkout. Resort amenities could use some improvements. Some pool and beach furniture needed replacement. The grounds were beautiful. Good security. Limited hours of bar and restaurants due to late season. Foot traffic from unit above was bothersome. Close to restaurants but away from Disney congestion. We would recommend this property and unit.

Everything is as advertised and more!

This place has a lot of great reviews and we discovered it is for a good reason. Everything is as advertised and it even offers several unadvertised things in addition! We were pleasantly surprised at how much the surrounding property had to offer in terms safety, security, wildlife viewing opps, and conveniences. For example, my wife really wanted to see alligators, and we got to see plenty in the surrounding ponds just by taking a short walk. Bahama Bay runs everything very well and not once were we concerned for safety or did we feel any slight bit of unease. The owner Angele was very friendly and communicative, and bent over backwards to help make our stay be the best ever in this location. We will definitely stay here again and look forward to our next trip!

Upstairs neighbors noisy. But not too bad Front door lock loose and not secure. Blinds fell when went to open. Bathroom sink slow to drain . No detergent for kitchen dishes. Excellent time - great resort, clean condo.

From initial booking this was one of the most stress free holidays ever. The owner's communication was excellent and immediate. I had never booked privately before although we have been to Florida many times and I was a bit wary of doing this. I had nothing to worry about - it was secure and effortless. Arriving at the condo, knowing exactly where we were going, no picking up keys and trying to find your accommodation in the middle of the night, no registering meant the holiday could begin right away. The condo was spotless, no need to buy cleaning stuff or bug spray ( as has happened before) I am a bit of a clean freak but this was great - which was one of the main reasons I chose this villa in the first place. It did not disappoint. We had no problems but the safe had been left locked and after a quick email someone came and fixed it the same day. The resort is lovely and well manicured with a wide variety of wildlife. Being a ground floor condo in a nature reserve means you may get the occasional cockroach but bugs seem to be kept under control. It is a great location with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. This is one of the best equipped places I have been. The owners seem to have thought of everything. We had two and a half peaceful weeks and then a heard of elephants moved into the condo above and the rest of the third week wasn't so peaceful. Unfortunately you cannot legislate for other people's lack of consideration but we hadn't expected it to be quite so noisy above, having always rented private villas before. I, however, wouldn't hesitate in recommending this condo to anyone as it was so clean and the owners communication was excellent.
