Babe’s Bayou Cabin

Cabin and property were very nice and parking area was spacious. Host was very responsive to any request and feedback. Would definitely recommend for people looking to stay near Kerr Lake.

Great Getaway

Excellent Get Away

The Babes Bayou was a great place for our family for the week. The cabin was a new, simple and spacious place for us to hang out. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, dishes and a few appliances. Simple cooking could easily be done and we enjoyed the balckstone grill on the back porch. The outdoor area with 5 porch swings and fire pit was fun to enjoy s’mores! We took advantage of the pond and enjoyed kayaking and paddle boats. We will be a repeat customer in the future!

A slice of Heaven!

We stayed for a baseball tournament and got to spend time with our family. Roda was very sweet and the property is perfect! You are welcomed by all the convinces of home - from the treats, fishing poles, to the cozy decorations. We loved the swings and our Grandkids came to visit and fished and kayaked with laughter you could hear from the porch. 5 stars for sure! Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Great get away!

The cabins are beautiful and so is the property! The only drawback is if the other cabins are booked it’s not as private on the patio since you can see all of the patios easily if outside.

Amazing get away!

This was exactly what we were looking for! Just a relaxing get away from real life stress! Hosts were great. Had a goody basket and just about everything you would need if you forgot something. I highly recommend Babes Bayou cabins!

The cabin was great! Clean and comfortable! Access to pond with paddle boats and kayaks was definitely a plus!!! My kids definitely enjoyed all the extras, axe throwing and hammocks especially! Thank you again for the great stay!

A gem of a camp

Wife and I were in town to visit grandkids. We looked at several hotels and didn’t find anything to meet our needs. My wife discovered this hideaway next to a lake and it was far beyond our expectations. Great view, grandkids could run and play during the day and we could relax and enjoy quiet evenings together. We had all that we needed and more. Fast WiFi, hot water, paddle boat, super friendly host, even a snack stash which the grandkids really enjoyed. I give this place 5 out of five stars across the board. Will definitely book again!!!!

Couples getaway

Such a beautiful cabin and it was so well and thoughtfully stocked. We enjoyed going to the river to fish and also fishing at the pond behind the cabin. Loved everything about our stay.

Fall Escape

This was our second time to stay at this cabin, we enjoyed it even more than the first visit. This area is so beautiful in the fall having the pond to fish right there and the owners have really put a lot of thought into even the small things to make our stay so cozy and comfortable from providing such nice wooden swings and even wood for the fire pits to paper plates and extra toothbrush’s. Thank you so much for providing such a comfortable home away from home and making it affordable! Even though there was a lot of rain we loved sitting on the front porch drinking coffee we even got to see deer in the yard. We will definitely be back again❀❀

We will definitely be back!

My husband and son went away for a quick fishing trip on the Illinois river, I was so excited to find this place and that it allowed a 1 night rental. This property is better than the pictures and was cheaper than a hotel room! Brand new, cozy cabin with all the amenities. Very well stocked, super comfortable furnishing, and very tastefully decorated. It’s right next to a small private lake and my son caught giant catfish all evening which made it all the better!! Isaac was very helpful giving us suggestions for eating places since we were not familiar with the area. We are already planning our next stay in a few weeks. Thank you Isaac for sharing this beautiful cabin with us and making it affordable.❀
