Micro Studio Apt 5B w/Pool near Beach & Nightlife
Paradise Point’s Micro Studio Apartment 5B is everything you want & expect out of your dream budget-friendly Caribbean vacation. Centrally located, it is a 22-minute walk from the Nightlife and shopping of St Lawrence Gap (to the right) & Oistins (to the left) plus only 12 min walk to Maxwell Beach straight ahead.
This MICRO apt is only 165sq ft and can sleep 2 ppl. It features a kitchen, AC, Fan, TV, full bed, and bathroom. There is WiFi throughout & shared access to the pool & decks.
**THERE IS NO CHECK-IN/OUT ON 25TH DECEMBER, 31ST DECEMBER 2023*
PROPERTY LIMITATIONS:
1 - This Apt is MICRO sized and is only 165sq ft. If you think you may need more space please take a look at our other apartments.
2- This apt does not have a private balcony. There is however shared access to the large covered rooftop deck that features great views out to the ocean and has tables, chairs, a day bed, and an open-air courtyard with grill & sun loungers. There is also shared access to the pool + poolside cabana patio + yard. So there are plenty of outside spaces to lounge in.
3- The kitchen window of this apt faces the driveway parking area, there is a potential for noise.
4- Our property is built into the Maxwell Hill cliff front, while it boasts an amazing ocean view it also comes with a lot of stairs. This unit is at our top entrance on level 5 so no stairs to the actual unit however it is 5 stories above our pool and bottom entrance that leads to the bus stop/coast road/beach/Oistins/st Lawrence Gap.
5- Our property is clean, modern & central BUT IT IS A LOW BUDGET PROPERTY. With our low rental prices also comes low-budget furnishings. The bed frames are cheap metal frames & the mattresses are memory foam or spring hybrids all from Amazon. The bed while comfortable will squeak/shake with a lot of heavy movement. Our bed linens and towels are also from the Amazon low-budget line. We only provide sheets. We do not have comforters/blankets. Our kitchen items are all cheap from the dollar store & Walmart. Please note the bathroom mirror has started to oxidize. It was a brand-new mirror and due to budget constraints, we can’t replace it immediately.
6- The ACs are budget-friendly window ACs built into the wall, and as a result, they are not the quietest and do not get as cold or work as quickly as central air or split-level AC systems. The AC also has to be on the right settings to work. (Ie Cool setting not fan setting. To get coldest turn off the eco mode. Decrease the temperature to the lowest and increase the fan speed to the highest)
7- In an effort to be eco-friendly, we use solar-powered water heaters which means our hot water doesn’t get the hottest, especially on rainy or cloudy days.
8- The pool/cabana is sometimes rented out on weekends and during school holidays for private events which normally last 4-6 hours. The pool/cabana will be closed to guests during private events. We try to keep loud music to a minimum and require all events to finish by 10 pm at the latest. We will always notify you of any events on the property beforehand.
9- interior renovations on level 5 and level 4 might be occurring during stays. some noise may be experienced 10 am-6 pm. We make every attempt to keep noise to a minimum while guests are in the building but as we expand some noise is unavoidable.
10- You have full property access (including the shared exterior spaces) for the occupancy for which you booked + 2 free visitors. Based on availability additional visitors can purchase a Visitors Pass at $25 USD/person or you can book the poolside party cabana for up to 30ppl for $300 USD or the rooftop deck can be rented for $150 USD for up to 15ppl.
11- We ONLY provide bath towels, guests will need to bring their own beach/pool towels. We only provide bed sheets, we do not have blankets/comforters as we are in the tropics.
12- There are no landlines on the property. Guests will want to either buy local sims or be prepared to use their local cell roaming or download a WIFI messaging app.
13- We do not have 24/7 maintenance or housekeeping service like most hotels. Our maintenance and housekeeping staff are only available between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm.
14- Barbados does not have any public wheelchair accessibility laws and thus there are very limited sidewalks in good condition and the existing sidewalks are NOT stroller/wheelchair friendly. If you are traveling which children and you are unfamiliar with walking in a 3rd world country we highly recommend you rent a car.
15- As a tropical location you can expect to find monkeys, lizards, birds, crickets, frogs, mosquitoes, and our family cat ginger on the property.
16- Please be advised that our establishment operates as a self-check-in and self-service property. Access is managed through electronic codes and the property is monitored by video surveillance for your safety and security.
17- Please note that Barbados, being classified as a developing country, experiences occasional island-wide utility outages. Although these instances are not frequent, they are more likely to occur during the hurricane season. It is worth mentioning that our building is strategically located in the heart of the popular South Coast tourist district, which typically results in quicker restoration of services compared to the more rural and less densely populated areas of the island. However, it is important to be aware that our property does not possess backup water tanks, generators, satellite phones/internet, or natural gas tanks.
18- We do not operate as a hotel and do not provide services such as bellboy assistance, daily housekeeping, concierge assistance, or front desk services. This is a self-service budget-friendly VRBO apartment.
