Fisherman's Dream a 3/2 w/lots of dock & parking space & easy access to Atlantic

Want to check in on a Tuesday and leave on Tuesday? We can be flexible with your check in day! Higher nightly rate (if applicable) will apply to all dates within the reservation. Still 7 night minimum required.

This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom single-family vacation home, that we lovingly call the SEAHORSE, is great for entertaining! The open living and kitchen/dining area allow your family to gather without being crowded. It’s 80’ of dock space is perfectly situated on the 63rd Street canal with direct quick access to the Atlantic Ocean, perfect for the avid fisherman.

This tastefully decorated home has a master bedroom with Queen size bed, large closet and en suite bath with double sinks, tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with ample closet space. The third bedroom has 2 twin size beds and nice size closet. Second bathroom has a shower. Pull-out couch in living room. Pack-n-Play and highchair are available for the little ones.
The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials. Modern stainless-steel appliances and marble countertops with plenty of room to prep. We provide dishes, pots and pans, baking sheets, muffin tin, toaster, blender, crock pot, hand mixer, coffee maker, tools for BBQ. There are playing cards and puzzles.

There is 1 Smart TV in the living room (bring your account passwords), free WIFI, A/C, heat, washer and dryer. There is plenty of parking on both sides and in front of the house for up to four (4) vehicles and two (2) trailers. There are 4 adult and 2 children's life jackets for use on the paddle boards and kayaks.
The dock has 80' available for guest use. We recommend no more than a 28' boat in the canal. Dock can accommodate 2 boats if they are the right size. They cannot be rafted side by side when tied to the dock. Fish cleaning station and water is available. We have a shallow channel coming in, but plenty of room at low tide for boats this size. If you have additional questions, please reach out before booking. A map of the canal will be emailed to you.

There’s a wraparound balcony off the kitchen/dining room area where you can watch the sun rise and enjoy your morning coffee with a limited view of the ocean.

The outside living space has lots of room to relax, outdoor furniture, gas grill and bait freezer. 2 paddle boards, 2 one-person kayaks, and life vests.

Linens, indoor use towels and beach towels are provided.

Things to Note:
Rental Period - Seven night minimum booking due to ordinance requirements in Marathon.
Maximum Occupancy - 8 people including children. You must be 25 or older to rent. (25 year old must be present during entire stay).
Check-in – after 4:00 pm
Check-out – by 9:30 am
Smoking – NO SMOKING, including vaping, inside this home at any time.
Last Minute Specials - if we are offering a special last minute, we do not apply the special rates to advance bookings made when the special was not offered.

Parking - The property has plenty of parking that can accommodate your boat trailers and up to 4 vehicles. Two boats/trailers maximum parking. Note that 63rd Street is narrow and a dead end and there is no turn-around at the end. There is plenty of room on our property to get your boat turned around.

Pets – Dogs (2 maximum) considered with Pet Fee and prior approval. Please confirm before booking if you have questions. $25/night fee and must be pre-approved.
Be sure to check the "I am traveling with pets" box in the # of Travelers section.
Pet fee will be doubled for unregistered dogs and will be deducted from your security deposit.

Nature - This home is located in a canal, and natures seasonal trade winds, current and tides may push surface grass into the canal at the dock and waters edge from time to time. This uncontrolled occurrence may result in the grass having an odor as it dissipates.

While we do not currently have a pool or hot tub there area couple of nearby establishments that allow use of their pool by the general public. These include Sunset Grille & Raw Bar and Skipjack Resort & Marina. Contact them for details.

Canal home in the heart of it all

We spent a month in this beautiful canal home. It was spacious with more than enough room for our friends and family. This property is near most Marathon attractions, restaurants and grocery stores. The communication and booking was seamless and smooth . Very responsive hosts.

Five of us came down and brought two boats and three trucks , we had plenty of room for parking and docking the boats on the water . It’s was a great time , the weather was not so great , but we enjoyed our stay very much !

Very nice place

This location is clean, well maintained and certainly located on the key. With the ocean side access was very convenient for water related activities. The down side is it has no pool, and there are 1400 dollars in fees associated with a stay.

We had a great week staying at this property. Very clean and spacious, plenty of extra beach towels and kitchen accessories. Close to restaurants and state park. Loved sitting on back deck watching the fish and manatees in the canal.

Great centrally located place to stay

This house has direct access to the Atlantic Ocean and a quick ride to over 100ft of water at the ledge. For those with boats there’s a marina on 49th street that you can put in for 30 bucks. Our 23 ft boat had no problems navigating the canal. Low tide you have to trim up and be cautious but never had an issue. There’s a bunch of tarpon in the canal that were fun to catch and manatees frequently visited in the morning. The location in marathon put you close to grocery store and other shops for your convenience. An hour or so south you can be in key west for a day trip. The house was exactly as described, both property managers were exceptionally great at communicating and the owners live nextdoor and were really nice And great to work with.

Christmas in the keys

We had a good stay. The property manager checked on us to make sure all was good. There was some confusion about my booking not showing I paid for a pet friendly stay but it got worked out. The only issue we had was the front door started sticking and we couldn’t find sheets for the sofa bed but otherwise it was a great stay. It’s a wonderful location and everything was very clean. My family had a good time. Being next to the canal was very nice. It would be nice to have a small dock next to the ladder to help board kayaks etc but otherwise it was very good. We would stay again.

It's near our primary residence and the large lot and extensive dock space is what captured our eye. The outdoor space is fantastic and we love watching the manatees and wildlife that visit us.
