We greatly appreciate Prarthana's 4-star review, and we wish the weather would have been better during their stay; this is a great call out for our future and prospective guests regarding the pool heater’s functionality in May and early October, and is noted in the listing description. Though we had an early spring in the Pacific Northwest this year, we did not get the normal warmer temperatures in May that we are used to. This unfortunately has an impact on the pool's heater because it’s designed to rely on the outside air to heat the water. When night-time temps are in the high 30's and low 40's, we don’t see desired warmer temps in the pool until the outside temperature is consistently above 45 degrees (day & night); this is when the heater can function efficiently.

Regarding the deck, it is made of wood, and it could be expected that sliding skin over wood, splinters may occur. However, we will work with owners to see about having the decking treated. As for the missing glass panel, this is part of a 5-foot-tall railing and if someone is standing on top of the bench area, they will be chest height to the top of the railing, where by design, there are no glass panels. The intent of the design is to prevent damage caused by gusty winds, which are common in the area. Given this area is designed as bench seating, it is not advised that someone stands on the bench.
