I confess: I’m biased. Staying here was reminiscent of my childhood in Midland. But, objectively, the house provided everything we needed and was thoughtfully appointed for families and pet owners. We didn’t need a sturdy high chair, but it doubled as a charging station when we used the dining room for our workstation. We also didn’t need 3 bedrooms, but the two extra were perfect personal dressing rooms for my husband and me. The backyard and raised patio were private and well maintained. The driveway would have accommodated 3 or more guest cars. Finally but most importantly, Julia was easy to communicate with and fast to respond. All in all, this was a great experience.

Great stay

My wife and I had a very nice stay at Julia's house. It's an older house, but it was clean and well-equipped. The location was good for us with an easy walk to downtown Midland. We really enjoyed our stay.

1601 W Hines Street, Midland MI

Location was great! Never traveled more than three to four miles to any site/event we wanted to visit. An unfortunate domestic situation three doors down requiring police intervention one late afternoon of our stay caused a short bit of anxiousness, but overall, neighborhood and neighbors seemed nice. House was very comfortable.

Simon Wedding

My mom, my daughter, and I stayed the night before my sister's wedding. We were VERY impressed at the cleanliness and quality of amenities. The host was very accommodating with a late checkout time so all the girls could meet up in the morning to have our hair done. Thank you for your part in making my sister's wedding fun and memorable!

Great House and Location

We had a great stay and would definitely book here again. My family was in town over New Year's for a family gathering. The house has tons of charm, was really clean and well kept, and the owner was easy to work with and communicated with me regularly after my booking was confirmed. The beds were comfortable and each room has a dresser and closet. A definite plus! It truly felt like a home away from home. The location is perfect. It's a quiet neighborhood and close to everything. The value for money was also great; with 3 bedrooms and a working kitchen it was still half the cost of two double rooms at all the hotels. If you're visiting Midland or an area near by, I highly recommend this home.
