Location

The place itself was great but the check in process was not good. Had to call host directly and set up check in hours before we were expected to arrive. Location is great.

Ok place to stay!

The property itself is nice, clean and tidy. The restaurant is very overpriced for the quality you get. The neighborhood was not great but there were enough people walking I felt somewhat safe. The building was very safe and secure! The bayside market was very close and we loved it!

The apartment was nice. The communication leading up to our stay was not very good. The night before I was starting to panic because I did not have any information on getting into the building. Once we got there, it was pretty chaotic because the only way to do anything is through the app and there was a lobby full of people, including myself that the app did not work. You cannot even get down to the lobby from the elevator without it working and mine didn’t work the entire time. It said to see the front desk but there was nobody at the desk and the other desk said they don’t deal with the rentals. There is a parking garage across the street, which is close enough, but cost $50 for less than 24 hours.

Would not recommend this place

Our stay at this apartment was one of the worst I’ve experienced. First, we received no check-in information until I emailed about it on the morning of check-in. Second, when we arrived, the apartment looked nothing like the photos, but it seemed like a better option for us as it was a room with a dedicated bedroom. This is where the real problems started. First, this was not a “new” apartment by any means. There were scuff marks everywhere on the walls and floors. The bedroom window was cracked open and would not close, letting in a lot of street noise. We messaged the host right away, and they said they were working on getting maintenance to come up and fix it. 2 hours later, still no resolution. Eventually we were told that there was no technician available and no other units for us to move to, so we were stuck with this horrible street noise all night (we had a cruise to embark on the next day, so we were obviously disgruntled). Additionally, upon opening the sliding door to the balcony, the door handle fell off on the outside, which is an extremely dangerous situation. When going to bed, we wanted to watch some tv in the bedroom, but nope- that tv did not work. In fact it flashed itself on and off, causing us to have to unplug it entirely. When we went to the pool bar for dinner, there was not a soul that could be found to give us service. We waited about 15 minutes and never saw a bartender or worker. Also, the door back in to the building didn’t work. Terrible stay.
