Hemmet har sten spis, takfönster, central luftkonditionering, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, 2 bilgarage. Det finns brädspel, pussel, böcker och ett fotbollsbord för lite vänlig tävling. Sleeping Bear Dunes röstades av tittarna på Good Morning America som "den vackraste platsen i Amerika". Området är värd för konst, musik och festivaler med specialfokus under sommaren och hösten. Vinodlingar pricker landskapet och vinturer är tillgängliga samt spelningar och konserter på närliggande Interlochen Music School. Leland, Glen Arbor, Suttons Bay och Traverse City ligger inom en enkel bilresa och erbjuder exklusiva shoppingorter, charterfiske, restauranger, kasinon, golf och minigolf. Mountainside cabin

This log cabin was well equipped, super comfy & has spectacular views. It’s close to Leland, Suttons Bay, a beautiful beach & hiking trails. Games & puzzles for downtime too! We loved it!

Spacious house

My family of six adults had plenty of room inside and outside to play board games, read, eat, relax, and sleep. The house had comfortable seating inside and outside. The house is located within a short drive to Sleeping Bear dunes, a beach, Glen Arbor, and Suttons Bay. We would stay here again.

Unique and spacious log home with wonderful view of the lake

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful experience at Viewtopia in August. Although we only had 3 adults, the home is large enough to accommodate many more, with three twin beds, two queens and a king on the second floor.One of our party is an avid runner and enjoyed long runs along the nearby vineyard roads. We were not far from Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and spend a wonderful day hiking along the lake and on the dunes.

Spacious and Comfortable

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home with great views over the lake. The inside of the home was very clean and comfortable. I was in a group of 4 couples that stayed there for a long weekend and went to several wineries. The outside of the house is due for some landscape work and step maintenance. I spent the first 30 minutes sweeping down spider webs on the outside of the house. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time. We loved the views and the secluded setting of the house. Everything in the house was clean and nicely set up for us. A few wasps did come into the one upstairs bedroom, so checking for those would be a good idea. Other than that we loved our stay and cannot wait to go back.

fun family trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 11 of us (4 adults, 6 kids 5-12 and one baby) stayed at Viewtopia for a week and had a great time exploring the region. The house worked great for our needs, and hosts were responsive to any questions or minor issues that came up. We would definitely stay again! It isn't lake front, but there are nice views, especially from the upstairs bedroom- and the lot is very private- it truly feels like a cottage. It is a short drive to a pretty sandy beach and a couple of hikes. Sleeping bear and Traverse city are each about 20-25 minutes away.

Great location

This is a quality built log cabin with lots of space and a wonderful country feel. Kitchen equipment and utensils are complete and generous. The views of the lake are stunning, but note, because of the shabby conditions of the landscaping, we were looking through the bushes and trees. The views presented at the website was not legit. That view is from the upper bedroom not the main deck.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved hosting our family reunion at this house. It was cozy and the views were spectacular. It made for a fantastic weekend. A couple of things weren’t ideal (the two steps leading down to the grill came dislodged which made stepping down hazardous), and regulating the temperature was a bit difficult), but we would certainly return to the place.

July in Good Harbor

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean but one of the few options left after our reservation for July were canceled by visit up north properties. It was much more expensive than the house that we originally had booked and I had no beach at all and was not near the water. That being said, the view from the balcony was very nice and it had a large kitchen and family room.

Viewtopia Very Nice but...

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed home. Unfortunately, for a property billed as “Viewtopia”, many of the views were hampered by overgrown trees between the home and lake. We were traveling with parents in their 80’s. Railings and hand holds were lacking along the main entrance and in the one piece shower stalls (we went to a Traverse City hardware store to buy some suction cup handholds and bath mat to make it safer). The many stairs and level changes in the home were dangerous for our older travelers (3 sets of stairs between garage and top floor sleeping area). The driveway is especially steep and long and overgrown. It’s likely to be an issue in the rain and snow, but really didn’t negatively impact us. The location is very good, but remote. The many light switches were confusing. The 42 inch main tv and limited cable package were disappointing for a premium property. Doubt we’ll stay here again, but younger travelers might find it “way cool”.

Viewtopia experience

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I will start by saying the management company was very professional and did check in with us the first day but before we really had a chance to see the property. The location of the home was convenient for our needs and the views from the property were beautiful. The layout of the home was not very user friendly. The 3 upstairs bedrooms had one bathroom on that level & the downstairs bedroom had 2 full baths and a half bath. That being said, the property needs a thorough cleaning. There were clumps of dust clinging to the logs behind the downstairs bed. I never checked any of the other bedrooms. There was mold in one of the bathroom showers. Again, I only used one shower so I can’t comment on the other bathrooms. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. There was garbage left under the kitchen sink. Someone’s black t-shirt was left in one of the bedrooms. For the money, we expected a much nicer experience.

THE NAME VIEWTOPIA SAYS IT ALL! WE HAD SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK ANY CHANCE WE COULD. ONCE YOU VISIT NOTHING ELSE COMPARES! TOO BAD OUR DATES IN AUGUST ARE NOT AVAILABLE THIS YEAR WOULD LOVE TO STAY AGAIN
