Vår Beach House ligger på den västra delen av Panama City Beach, Florida i gemenskapen av Laguna Beach. Detta är en lugn 1940 strand community med charmiga vintage stranden hem. Njut av ljudet av havet, Gulf Breeze, vänliga grannar och familjer som har varit semestrar här i årtionden. Laguna Beach Property Owners Association styr stranden; så det finns inget blockerar tillgång till den vackra Mexikanska golfen, socker vit sand och naturliga sanddyner i detta område, som röstades # 1 bästa stränderna i världen av "Travel and Leisure" tidningen och regelbundet röstade i topp 10 stränder! Om du gillar att tillbringa större delen av din tid på stranden, kan du inte göra mycket bättre, och ingen publik någonsin! Vår strand är en av de sista obebyggda stränderna i området. Från huset, om du går ¾ av ett block till Front Beach Road och korsa vägen ... du är på stranden !!

Vår familj har haft äger detta fritidshus för nära fyrtio år. Det är fullt möblerad med 3 sovrum, 2 badrum, vardagsrum (med queen bäddsoffa) / matsal, fullt utrustat kök, centrala luft & värme, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, diskmaskin och två tv med grundläggande kabel och dvd-spelare. Framsidan av huset har två sovrum; ett med en dubbelsäng och den andra med en drottning säng. Den extra stora skärmad veranda är vår favorit plats att koppla av, umgås, läsa, ta en tupplur, eller bara sitta och gunga på verandan swing !! Det stora sovrummet / badrummet är på baksidan av huset och har en king size-säng och master badrum.

Om du huvudet:

EAST på Front Beach Road, det finns gott om "Beachy souvenirbutiker", livsmedelsbutiker, skaldjur marknader, restauranger etc. Pier Park en shopping by med roliga restauranger, underhållning, butiker, Starbucks, Target, och en 16-skärm biograf är tre miles från vårt hus. Fortsätt österut på Front Beach Road och det finns gott om ställen att äta, bort ligger Goofy Golf, en fiskebrygga, och bara 10 minuter en unge pleaser ... Shipwreck Island Water Park. Vi ligger också bara tre miles från Frank Brown friluftsområde där hästshower, idrottsturneringar, simning möter, etc. är schemalagda hela sommaren!

WEST på Front Beach Road eller Back Beach Road leder dig till Destin, FL, som ligger bara 30 minuter bort. Destin är en stor badort med vackra stränder, en stor outlet, köpcentra, och fantastiska restauranger och sevärdheter. Mellan Laguna Beach och Destin är mer häpnadsväckande stranden samhällen längs Emerald Coast med unika små butiker och restauranger! (Sunnyside Beach, Rosemary Beach, Deer Lake State Park, Seagrove Beach, akvarell, Grayton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, och Sandestin)

Det är enastående fiske i området ... några av de bästa i staten för kungar, delfin, cobia (långa), bonita, wahoo, pompano, grouper och många sorter av snapper ... du kan vara i 100 fot endast 20 miles ut utanför dessa stränder. Crabbing i inloppen området är stor och väldigt roligt för barnen. Du kan hitta många platser på Panama City Beach eller i Destin att chartra en båt för djuphavsfiske, spela golf, utflykter, flygplan rider, båtuthyrning ... mycket mer !!

Relaxing beach trip

The vintage beach cottage was just what we were looking for. It was located in quiet neighborhood with east beach access across the road. The front porch was where we spent most of our time when we weren’t at the beach. The house had all essentials needed for our vacation.

Porch Heaven!

The front porch is simply amazing! We spent many hours out there enjoying the breeze and our family. There is plenty of room to spread out and we all found our favorite spots. The house is cozy and fully of charm and there really isn’t anything like it. Jennifer shared the history of the home and that just added to the charm. With that charm comes some unexpected things such as narrow walkways inside, sloped floors, gaps under doors just to name a few. Even with these things, the porch, coziness, and great location won us over.

Blissful beach time

Old florida beachhouse defined, if you know you know - charming beach cottage with all the modern amenities plus comfortable coziness of spaces for small to medium groups. The front porch is amazing for gathering, dining, entertaining and relaxing - if we weren't at the beach we were sitting on this porch. Less than 1/2 block to fast disappearing unspoiled beach. It was perfect!!

Amazing Stay

Nice setup

Older house but fit our need well with grandkids and room to play when not at beach. Short walk to beach which was very wide here and not over crowded. Good communication and pleasant stay. Would stay here again - if nothing else for the doughnuts!

Home Away From Home

We loved this house and felt at home as soon as we walked in. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Excellent location, close to the beach and Thomas's Donuts. The front porch is the best place to begin and end the day. We will return here next time we visit Laguna beach!

Cozy Slice of Heaven

Family girls trip again to this cozy, beautiful little beach house within walking distance to the gorgeous waters/sand of Laguna Beach. Most of our beach days was double red flag but we made the most of it & still enjoyed the beach. We did get to enjoy the front porch more this time. Would most definitely recommend this cozy little beach house and would most certainly stay again. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven.

Nice house with amazing porch and close to beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Schlader House. It was just the right size for our family of 4 and the beach was just a short walk away. We all loved the amazing enclosed porch and ate most of our meals out there. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare basic meals. We liked being in a neighborhood instead of the touristy bustle of Panama City and enjoyed being on a quieter beach without giant hotels behind us. Thomas Donuts is dangerously close - they are SO good and we got donuts there almost every day! I also loved being to walk to Carousel grocery store which had surprisingly good prices.

Home away from Home

With this property we love the location love the family feel. An love everthing that it has to offer with this beautiful home. This is our home away from home and will always continue to come here. We wouldnt choose anything else but here. Its a 15 min drive to Walmart if needed. Beach right out the drive way. Thank is 5 house down and your at the beach. Great location where the home is located. There isnt enough good things to say about the property just over all. 10 star. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆. We recommend this home to anyone. At this home you feel like your home away from home. Have everything you need all the way down to even the laundry detergent.she supplies. All you need to bring is your family and fun bc you want be disappointed. Also before the beach early morning your right next to donut shop b4 you hit the beach or afternoon for a quick bite. . This location will not disappoint if your unhappy here its not because of the owner bc she will go above and beyond to help and make what ever right. Nothing but love for this Family home. Again 10 Stars. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Nice but with issues

Location was great. Only 8 houses away from beach & close to Thomas Donuts & Carousel Grocery, both highly recommended. House has character due to the solid woods & uneven floors that are probably original from the 1940s, when it was built. The uneven floors & narrow hallway, however, could be problematic for those with mobility challenges. Screened-in front porch was a big plus. Really enjoyed eating meals on the picnic table & relaxing in the rockers. Water pressure was very weak. It was not possible to run 2 showers at the same time. We were informed that this issue would be solved once the county installs a new water main. Roku TV was frustrating when trying to watch NFL games on Sunday but enjoyed watching different movies each night on Hulu. Driveway is convenient but very narrow. We could not open the doors of my truck. But parking on front lawn was a good alternative. House was well stocked. Management was easy to communicate with. Overall, enjoyed our stay but something’s, like uneven floors & water pressure, need updating.

Perfect beach cottage

This beach house was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. Such close proximity to the beach and Thomas’ Doughnuts made for a wonderful experience. We spent the rainy days on the screened-in porch. It truly is a rare find. The host was also amazing and very quick to respond to any questions/concerns. Our family made so many fun memories on this trip, thanks to a great host and amazing home. It was great, the house is not fancy. The location is excellent and the price is very good. It was perfect for us with 2 kids 3 and 9. Check in process was flawless and communication was good! Would stay again!
