Great oasis in the neighborhood

Weekend Oasis

The carriage house was awesome. It was a home away from home and such a restful, enjoyable time. The kitchen was great and we loved taking time to eat there as much as going out. The layout allowed positive energy to flow throughout. Thank you.

Bright and Sunny and great walking

This was our second stay here as it is close to where my family lives. We love how the apartment is bright and sunny. The hosts were lovely, and welcoming, the bed was comfortable, and we walked the neighborhood each day. We would happily stay again. Thank you Natacha and Ryan

Perfect

This little apartment is such a gem! It is light filled, beautifully and comfortably furnished, has a well stocked kitchen, and a full sized washer and dryer. The location is wonderful—walking distance to shops, a grocery, restaurants, and the lovely uptown lakes. Highly recommend this perfect little place!

Nice Central Location

Very clean, well appointed, quiet property and nice neighborhood. A couple of blocks from the Bde Maka Ska Lake, great for a walk, bike ride, pedal boat excursion and more.

Wonderful location!

Charming carriage house located over the owner's garage. Bright, light, clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen needs. It includes a washer and dryer for longer stays. The unit is walkable to the chain of lakes, Uptown shops, cafes, and bakeries, and is situated in a sweet little neighborhood. It looks just as cute as the photos portray it!

Friends weekend getaway

We had a great girls weekend here during the Olympic trials! Everything feels brand new and updated. The pull out couch has a topper for it and my friend said it was very comfortable. Very close to the lake activities and a bakery near by for excellent breakfast items. Natacha was wonderful with communication and helped us with our Uber food when the Uber driver ignored the directions. I really loved the space and will consider staying again if I ever come back and visit the city with my family. PS- the backyard is beautiful! Thank you so much!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful property with great hosts

We loved our stay at this Vrbo in the uptown area of Minneapolis. The property was extremely clean, very nice build out with high end appliances, countertops, furniture and linens, had great AC, natural light and black out shades for sleeping. The washer dryer was an added bonus! The location was pretty great too - an easy drive to so many parts of the city and walkable to the lake and a few restaurants/coffee shops. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and make sure we had everything we needed. They even bought a pack and play for our stay so we didn’t have to pack one for our 2 year old. The property is not baby proofed (and there is a stair well) but we didn’t have an issue with this since it was easy to move cleaning supplies and knives out of reach. The kitchen also came fully equipped with pots, pans etc and had some nice coffee and tea options. I would definitely stay here again.

Property was well located - we could walk to restaurants and the lake was just down the street. It was well stocked with everything we needed, quiet, and the place was super clean. Owners were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Spotless

The apartment is newly renovated and sparklingly clean. Beds were comfy, lighting excellent, good shower, quiet neighborhood walkable to restaurants and shops with easy street parking. Note that you are staying in an ADU above garage, behind owner’s home so you walk through owner’s backyard to get there. It is fine but sometimes we dealt with the reality of the setup like passing through the space when yard is in use or hearing the garage doors open and close, or noise from being on the service alley (like neighbor working on his motorcycle). Nothing horrible but perhaps not as private as some other Vrbos. The kitchen is immaculate but not well equipped, and owners might consider spending $50-100 on some basics (a small fry pan, a few herbs and spices, coffee, more cooking utensils, etc) just to make it easier so guests don’t have to buy everything to make some basic meals. It wasn’t a major issue but if you’ve stayed in many rentals like we have you might consider the kitchen setup to be thinly stocked. Owners were friendly, flexible and responsive.

Beautifully furnished apartment in quiet area steps to lake

This was our second time staying at this lovely, quiet and private apartment in the Ecco neighborhood, a few blocks South and West of Uptown. It was about 4 mins walk to the amazing Black Walnut bakery, 8 mins walk to the lovely lake and lakefront at Bde Maka Ska and similar to Uptown. The apartment is really comfortable and beautifully outfitted. Everything is of high quality and clearly a lot of thought went into the decor and design. Kitchen is fully equipped, bed very comfortable. Parking was easy on the street, (not sure how well that would work in winter in Minneapolis). Natacha was very responsive and helpful. Thank you so much Natacha! We'll be back for sure!

Amazing stay!

My partner and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and had an amazing trip. The property is beautiful, sparkling clean, modern and comfortable, and the location is absolutely perfect. There's so much in walking distance but still ample street parking if you have a car. The host was clear on description and instructions, and answered all of our questions quickly. I would absolutely stay here again!

Awesome as usual

This was our 4th stay in this sweet little apartment in Uptown, but our first time with the new owners. They were fantastic—the only disappointment was not being able to use the garage for parking, which was a major selling point of the property under the previous owners. Nevertheless, we will return as the location is ideal, the apartment clean, modern, and perfect for a couple, the neighborhood is quiet, and it’s walking distance to so many restaurants and shops. Also, having a washer and dryer is very convenient! We look forward to our next trip to Minneapolis!

We have stayed at this property 5 or 6 times. It’s perfect for our needs. Close to the lakes, restaurants, grocery, bakery, etc. Super easy to get downtown. The space itself is modern and well designed, just enough for two people. Ryan and Natacha are a pleasure to work with and super responsive. We feel welcome and comfortable here. We’ll be back again in the Fall!
