Home was spacious, clean, and exactly as advertised. I had a last-minute issue with my car that left me on the property a few hours past check-out, and the hosts were very accommodating and patient with me as I resolved my car troubles. I am very grateful for their hosting!

The home was even more beautiful than the pictures! Our stay was perfect. It rained a few times but the kids kept themselves occupied because there was so much to do at the house. We highly recommend Mountain Nest!

Vacationed with 6 adults and 5 young boys. The house was very clean & spacious. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and lawn games followed by quiet evenings around the fire. John, our host, was very responsive and check in & check out was a breeze. Highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay if you have kids of any age. Our 5 year old grandson and 3 year old granddaughter just loved all the games on site. Especially the mini-golf 'course'. But there were plenty of games for teens and adults as well. Saw deer in the front yard and a bear two houses down. We had a wonderful stay!

The host was a wonderful communicator and they took very good care of the house. It looked newly renovated and had all the kitchen appliances you need to cook dinner (for 12)!! The house was very spacious for 3 families with young kids! The game room was key!! We will stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place and great location. Very cozy and spacious for a fun family trip. My wife and I went with another couple plus all of our kids and we fit comfortably. My only issue was there was a good amount of dog hair left over from whoever stayed there before, but the host had the cleaning crew come out immediately and cleaned it up.

We had our children and spouse and 18 month old grandson. The house had a space for everyone! Everyone really appreciated the fireplace, stocked kitchen with plenty of pans and dishes, and not to forget the playroom and movie room, and last of all the hot tub! It snowed while we were there which we enjoyed the view of a local herd of dear and visited Jim Thorpe!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and offered plenty of fun activities for our grandchildren — they had a blast. It was the perfect spot for quality family time.The only thing to note is that there was a television in each bedroom. While our grandkids were thrilled to have their own TVs, it made it a bit of a challenge to get them out of their rooms to join in the outdoor activities.Overall, we really enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend this place to other families!

We had a great time at this beautiful home. Attention to detail was spot on. Fresh decor and contemporary style in a beautiful chalet. Close to hiking and other outdoor activities. Our family had a wonderful time. We will be back.

5 Star property and Location- From the booking process through checkout very simple and straight forward. I highly recommend this beautiful home, has that new home feel and in all areas is a delight. Great location, privacy, lots of wildlife from Foxes, Eagles, lots of deer ( who think they are pets and come up to the deck) lots of room to spread out. Top appliances, beds very comfortable, you are centrally located to everything. GO-RELAX and ENJOY-- going back SOON-- Mark & Marie

Great family house

Amazing house! My kids didnt want to leave. Had everything you need to feel right at home. Community had a beautiful lake, park, volleyball. Close to everything. Host John was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Outstanding rental property and experience !

We were looking for a place to take our kids and grandkids - we definitely found the best with this house ! The very attentive hosts were quick to answer any questions. House was spotless - extremely clean. Well thought out and very well stocked with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Kitchen has all you need for any size group - plenty of utensils, plates, everything. The three levels of bedrooms were perfect for our 3 families. Outdoor activities at the house were perfect - everyone enjoyed the mini-golf, hot tub and fire pit. We have rented alot of homes over the years, and this one, by far is the best experience we ever had. Thanks again to our wonderful hosts - we will be back !

As a family that converged from NY & Philly, our Easter and birthday celebration became an unforgettable affair thanks to our stay! Nestled amidst the serene beauty of the mountains, this retreat served as the ideal backdrop for our gathering. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and comfort. The house itself was not only spacious but also exquisitely furnished, providing us with all the amenities we could need. The kitchen, in particular, was a highlight, fully equipped with everything required to whip up delicious meals together. One of the most cherished aspects of our stay was the ample space for bonding and recreation. The game room quickly became a hub of laughter and friendly competition as we engaged in various activities, from pool to board games. The hot tub offered a perfect spot after a day filled with adventures. Our day trip to Jim Thorpe was a definite highlight of our stay. The scenic drive through the mountains was a treat in itself, and upon arrival, we were captivated by the charm of the historic town. Exploring its quaint streets, indulging in local delicacies, and immersing ourselves in its rich history made for a truly memorable outing. Everything was great! House was clean, well equipped. Communication with owner was great, we even added a night after having car troubles. Hot tub, fire pit and mini golf were great!! Lots of games in the game room!! Would definitely stay again!!

Excellent construction and superior amenities We enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Loved that the lake was stocked and we happened to be there on opening day of trout season. We enjoyed two trout cooked on the fire pit. We would love to come again!
