The Cottage on Grand is a wonderful place to stay for a weekend. The space is clean and decorated very well. the kitchen has most essentials and coffee pods and snacks were provided. The accessibility to downtown Carterville is so easy - blocks away. I will definitely be back.

This property did not live up to the exceptional rating that it had. It felt clean and there were plenty of towels. But the doors didn’t really close, we had a leak in the bedroom and the bathroom was very small and seemed to be falling apart.

Kitchen was not stocked very well no icemaker bin in fridge and extra things like trash bags and paper towels were not provided. Beds were very comfortable and location was very convenient for us. Overall a good place for the price.

Cute as can be and can't beat the location in Carterville. There is a very low doorjamb into the bathroom (I am 5'7" and barely made it) and my husband cracked his head on it pretty hard, twice. I'd like to stay here again but I hope that door opening gets fixed.
