A picturesque European chalet tucked into a forested community sitting on the banks of the Sandy River, complete with a public pool and tennis court. Bigger adventures are just a 10-minute pedal away where the Sandy Ridge Trail System offers premiere mountain biking. Take a 20-minute drive to Government Camp and find all the skiing and hiking your heart desires. After an exhilarating day, slip back to the cabin and unwind in Pacific Northwest style. Relax in the skylight-covered hot tub; grill and dine al fresco; then, roast sâmores around the flickering firepit as the sun sets.

- Thanks to the trees, we havenât needed AC. On hot days, we open some windows upon waking up and close mid-morning to keep the whole cabin cool. - Direct heating on main floor with vents to allow warm air to rise upstairs. Space heater in each bedroom to use if desired.
- For safety reasons, hot tub and loft are for kids 5+ with adult supervision.
- Windows are double-paned casement no screens. Windows should be locked at night and whenever not in use or under adult supervision.

Maury and I have dreamed for years to have a cabin in Mount Hoodâs backyard wonderland, and now we can't wait to share this magical place with you.

Timberline Rim in Rhododendron is a conveniently located, quiet forested community along the Sandy River. While there are many unique cabins here (meaning closer neighbor proximity), it does still have a semi-private, peaceful feel thanks to the towering trees.

- 5 minute walk to a magical Sandy River public access point at the corner of E Fir Tree Way and E Sandy River Lane. Enjoy hours of fun exploration with sand, river rocks, creek, native plants, or just lay back and close your eyes to the sounds of the rolling river.
