Great property, exceptional management. We had ages 12 - 71 and all loved our stay and the house. We booked 2 activities via the concierge and both were fantastic, Excellent recommendations. Plenty of pans and utensils to cook with. Pool was nice and warm. We enjoyed evenings on the patio with gentle rain cooling everything down. Excellent AC, bathrooms were great. Beds very comfortable. Easy access to groceries and the beach just down the hill. Highly recommend this property. It looks just like the pictures online. Alex our host made sure our stay was amazing.

Perfect House For Our Getaway

Six college roommates, all 65, enjoyed three nights here. Everything we needed was included. Kitchen was very well stocked including blender, hand mixer, drip coffee maker and filters. Plenty of bath and beach towels. Pool and outdoor area are amazing and the views are spectacular. Able to walk to a mini-market and the beach.

House was beautiful with all the amenities needed for your stay. Check in and communication with management was easy. We watched the sunset from the infinity pool each night followed by fireflies and thunderstorms. Great trip

Our first trip to Costa Rica

This property was AWESOME. We had 4 adults and 3 children (twins 5 and a 2 year old). The management team provided valuable assistance on local beaches and restaurants. The view is even better in person.

A Week In Paradise

This property is one of our favorites. We have stayed here two years in a row. The view is spectacular and the community is quiet and relaxing. While it is always good to get back home, I never want to leave this place.

Great Thanksgiving stay

Stayed for a week over Thanksgiving with my wife and 12 year old son. We had a great stay and the property was exactly as described. Management office is at the base of the private road and was quick to respond to any questions. They were able to set up in room massages for us and were easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

It does have a BEAUTIFUL view!

The photos of this house online are incredible. After reading the glowing reviews, I was anticipating a well kept property. We found that the Zindis group was very responsive and that was a plus, but the upkeep of this property leaves something to be desired. The towels and bedding were a disappointment. They were ragged and needed to be replaced. Many of the appliances did not work well. The washer and dryer left clothes full of lint. The ice maker didn't work, the coffee pot lid was broken and the air conditioner in the bedroom had 2 issues with leaking water. The dishwasher worked but is dated and difficult. As a whole, the floors need upkeep and the woodwork could use it too. The laundry area is dirty and dingy, not like the pictures on the site! It is a shame that the property is not maintained better. I was surprised that others rated this so high. The people we encountered were wonderful....but I will look elsewhere for my next stay.

Fun with easy access.

We've been to Costa Rica many times. This was the first time to fly into Liberia. What a nice experience with only 25 minutes to the property from the airport. The house with the great view of Playa Hermosa was everything we hoped for. Beautiful pool. Only a few minutes to great dining and quaint local beach. Pura Vida!

Great house and view

Very easy arrival and departure process. The viesmw from the house is better than the pictures. Any issues were handled quickly and did not impact the stay. As we dis not rent a car for our group of 8 adults, the Zindis group helped arrange transport service, taxi service, coordinated an in-house chef experience and even did a bank errand for us! Many thanks to Emanuel for his amazing service.

Great House, Great Time

My Family and I had a great time in Playa Hermosa. The house was amazing. The Zindis crew Bryan and Milena were very helpful in lining up activities for us and helping with the property. If you are staying with a small child they charge extra money for a pack and play, and high chair. We've rented many larger VRBO properties, and these items are typically included, so for a luxury rental like this, i feel those items should be included at no charge. Other than this though, the property and experience were amazing!

Perfect week!

This is a beautiful property and the views, layout, pool etc. are all as advertised. Excellent location close to beach, restaurants and grocery. A car is recommended to visit the larger super mercado and shopping over in playa coco, but the beach scene is much less crowded in playa hermosa. This property is managed by Zindis Group who are excellent. Their main office is at the bottom of the hill, and they have a Tico Tours concierge on-site who is also outstanding. Overall this is a first-class operation that can assist with airport transport, tours, rental car, and can even stock house with groceries in advance of your arrival. We are already planning our return visit!

Taking care of business

This is a wonderful house that is comforable, efficient, and it has amazing views. We loved using the pool and deck area all day long. We did have a minor problem that came up that needed to be dealt with to help our group. The management company did an amazing job of responding to our need. It is in the beautiful Hermosa Heights community. We were close to beaches, restaurants, and able to take advantage of excursions as well. Worth checking out and you can feel confident they will take care of you. Melena was a great host throughout our stay!

Heaven in Hermosa Heights

Costa Rica has been on our bucket list for a while. I was so impressed with this particular property when I saw it online and was anxious to see if it was a true reflection of the photos. It most certainly is. The house is lovely, very well equipped and so comfortable for our family of 5. The pool/outdoor space is beautiful and so private and the view is amazing. The Zindis group went out of their way to meet our every need. We felt like celebrities! Thankful for a wonderful vacation and the perfect accommodations.

Wonderful property with an amazing view!

My family of five greatly enjoyed the property and our time in Costa Rica! Property was clean and well equipped. The extra towels for the pool/beach were greatly appreciated. You can’t beat the view, the wonderful coffee shop at the bottom of the hill, the close proximity to Liberia and beaches, and the amazing locals. Check in was smooth and Zindis group was available to assist with any requests if needed. Only recommendation I’d have would be the addition of a couple blankets for use. Also, make certain you properly secure the trash...the raccoons are sneaky and will visit nightly! Would not hesitate renting here again!

Resort style amenities at a fraction of the cost.

Property was located close to the airport and was easy to drive to several nearby beaches and other attractions. The area seemed to be very safe, but it was comforting to know that this was a gated community protected by 24x7 security. Stayed in the Casa Picapiedra property, which had amazing views of the ocean and sunset in the evening. The pool was excellent for cooling down and relaxing when not out touring or at the beach. There was a grocery store located very near the property and plenty of good restaurants close by. Tico Tours Guanacaste had an office right inside the property management office which made it very convenient to book tours. Ian of Tico Tours recommended some excellent tours and helped make all the arrangements. Overall this was a wonderful vacation made even better by staying in this property managed by the Zindis Group.

Beautiful house; 20 minute walk to Playa Hermosa beaches

This was a beautiful house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is about a 20 minute walk to the beach--5 minute drive. My group of 7 enjoyed the nice patio and pool. We used the barbeque twice and fully utilized the kitchen. My only "issues" were the lights in the living room also light up both of the master bedrooms because of the open house design. I had to tell my fellow travelers to turn off lights so I could go to sleep. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, but no spices at all. We had to buy salt, pepper and other things we needed. I felt totally safe in the neighborhood, especially with the security personnel at the gate. There is a neighborhood cat that wanted to come in the house and raccoons greeted us when we returned one evening, so be sure and put all your food inside. All in all, it was a very comfortable house for a group of 8 people.

Great View and House. Resort Needs Updates.

The view from this home looking out on Playa Hermosa is amazing. We loved the layout of the kitchen, dining and bedrooms. The outside pool is unheated but we enjoyed cooling off during some afternoons. The home and view did not disappoint. We all had several bug bites the first few nights and so we laundered the bed sheets. That took care of the problem. There was no cleaning provided during the week long stay and we had to call to have leaves removed from the pool. Apparently the cleaning fee only covers the final cleaning and you must pay extra in cash if you want more. The resort itself is past its prime and in need of renovation. There is a potentially great miniature golf course in bad disrepair but we had fun playing. The basketball court could be great but it was littered with leaves and nuts. The community pool water slides have rough areas where the epoxy has peeled off. These amenities were probably 5 star several years ago but now rate a 3 at best. If they kept these in good repair, and advertised them better, it would add greatly to the experience.

Muy Bonita!

We had a group of 3 couples for this trip and loved the location: it's about a 10min walk to Playa Hermosa. I will say that the uphill you'll encounter coming back to this property might not be pleasant for all involved, however. They provided beach towels, snorkeling gear, and all the usual accessories and dishes for the kitchen. The AC's worked really well, and the gated community has a movie theater and mini golf! The view is simply amazing from the patio, can't beat it. There are a few negatives that I hope are addressed. The plumbing is a bit funny, some of the showers ended up with standing water while you're using them, one doesn't get warm at all (one of the master bedrooms near the driveway), the kitchen flooded mildly one morning but there's a drain in the floor so no sweat there..? The pool was a little green when we arrived but continued to get more green and cloudy throughout our visit. Maybe this is a certain style of pool maintenance that doesn't require chemicals, but it was less than desirable to get into once it started getting cloudy. The raccoons aren't anything to joke about; they will attack your trash if you leave it outside. It would've been nice to have one of those trash cages that a lot of other properties have. We ended up pulling the trash cans in the house at night to prevent it. All in all, a wonderful trip!!!

Great View. Everything as advertised.

I loved staying here for 1 week from late December through early January. The view of Playa Hermosa is outstanding. I was a bit surprised that the water temperature of the pool is a bit on the cold side. I own a beach house a few hours to the south and stepping into my pool at 8pm is like a warm bath. This pool was a bit chilly even during the warmest part of the day. After some reading, I think it is the color of the tile. The builder used a brown tile to match the color of the house. I have a dark blue tile in my pool. I've read that tile color can affect pool temperature by as much as 5 degrees Celsius. Darker colors absorb more heat. Anyway I adapted to the pool temperature quickly. The management agency was very professional. We arrived an hour early and they allowed us to check in since the unit was ready. The local wildlife is notable. Parakeets and humming birds are common sights. We had a humming bird that seemed to make an afternoon visit at the same time every day. One night a racoon walked along the edge of the pool as I was enjoying a scotch. Be aware of the racoons. The trash can has latches to lock the lid on. I did not properly use the latches the first night we had trash and had to clean up the next morning. Even after putting on the latches, the racoons would still try to get in at night. Lovely creatures. I think they enjoyed my cooking. Near the end of our stay we took a morning sailing excursion with Sea Bird Sailing. I can recommend them for a nice time. I might try the afternoon tour the next time for the sunset. It was a wonderful stay and I would definitely rent again. Thank you Zindi for making our holiday memorable.
