Basics:

Our house is on a quiet street a few blocks from Passyunk Avenue and is surrounded by diverse and delicious food, shops, and restaurants on Passyunk Avenue.

Easy access to Wells Fargo, Citizens Bank Park, and the Linc. If you're headed north, you'll be just a few subway or bus stops away from the Convention Center and City Hall. The Broad Street line at Broad and Snyder is just blocks away, and the 11th Street bus is steps from our house. It's also Easy to Uber/Lyft, and we'd recommend it!

Parking:

Street Parking is available, and no residential permits are needed for:
-Cantrell St
- 11th St.
- 12th St.

Parking a few blocks away is the standard in the city. If you need to unload a pet or luggage more easily before parking, you can temporarily idle across from the front door 1122 and unload, but please never block these garages for more than 10 minutes. If you stay for 3+ nights, we will get you a residential parking permit to make it easier.

***We recommend not parking on Cantrell because it is difficult for most folks to maneuver.

The space includes:

There are two bedrooms. The first room has a full bed, and the second has a king bed.

The second bedroom has a desk and 4 K Monitor with an HD cord included, which is ideal for remote workers or those who want to hook up a computer to stream.

The living room includes two couches and a 55-inch Smart TV with Netflix included. Verizon high-speed WiFi.

There is a Full Kitchen with a coffee maker, electric kettle, tea, and coffee, as well as a private patio with seating for a few!

The entire space is yours.

We ask that you abide by quiet hours (10 pm-6 am) and do not play music or gather loudly on the patio or out front after that time. Philly homes are attached and very close to one another. Please be respectful; most of the block is home to families and young professionals, and some individuals will gladly call the authorities if there are noise disturbances.

Perfect spot in South Philly

The property is really well located to South Philly, which is exactly where we were looking to be for a short stay. The house was clean/tidy and just right for a brief trip to the city. Please note that the stairs leading up to the second floor are rather steep/narrow, which kept floor space more open, but is something to bear in mind if traveling with pets or elderly family. Parking is not necessarily difficult to find but the spots themselves are quite narrow -- coming from DC, we are used to city parking, but Philly streets are very tight!

Birthday trip

Stayed here for a birthday trip with my daughter because she wanted to see the orchestra and some fine dining. The neighborhood was mostly full of good people as i talked to some people for directions. Some of the people were drunk walking around the neighborhood. My biggest complaint was parking as we really had to hunt for a space and the spots were crazy tight and alleys are not meant for large SUVs at all, pull in your mirrors driving down. The house was very clean, the back patio was fun, and the wifi was great. The heat works well and the beds were large and comfortable. Theres an hdmi cord on both tvs to hook your game systems or laptops into it and there is enough cookware to make yourself something in the kitchen. Whole foods wasnt to far away so the first night we cooked something and ate cake. Good place just parking not meant for SUVs. Recommend parking your car and leaving it to use an uber instead.

South Philadelphia makes up for a lack of trees with a lot of personality. You'll find excellent food and people throughout the area, especially on Passyunk Ave. Getting almost anywhere in the city from our spot is easy, so you'll never be bored!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our patio may seem strange to some because it's close to every house and lacks some privacy (which some consider a huge perk). But it's truly an oasis in the summer. Enjoy it for evening drinks or early morning breakfast.

We also have a good setup for anyone who needs to work remotely. Our second bedroom has a monitor and HDMI cable that you can use to work or even watch movies in that room!
