Walled City 2-bedroom 2-bath Condo with Patio
Immerse yourself in Cartagena culture at our central 2-unit Republican style building.
The apartment is ideal for individual couples, pairs of couples, and families, including use of an upstairs patio and laundry room shared with another visiting family. There is a beautiful spiral staircase and a cute kitchenette.
The neighborhood is vibrant during the day, quieter at night. The space is dusted daily and has AC in the bedrooms.
The space
Our space is natural, traditional, practical, and comfortable. The open-air kitchen and dining, plants, bedroom balconies, tile floors and bathroom finishing make it stylized and unique. At the same time the bedroom ACs, appliances, and central location help make it comfortable and practical. This is a residence, that while renovated and strategically modernized in November 2021, still retains it's spirit as an elegant and authentic house within the walled city of Cartagena.
On a daily basis, the space is dusted with plants watered and AC and electronics left on turned off to help conserve energy.
In April of 2022, we covered the master bedroom ceiling, greatly reducing street noise and dust.
The high, original exposed tile ceilings in the second bedroom and open air deck enclosed by the kitchen, living, dining rooms do allow more dust and sound to filter in than in fully modern structures.
Each bedroom has a balcony, private bathroom, and AC. All apartment appliances were purchased in November 2021. The space is not recommended for guests with high sensitivity to city dust and noise.
There is an upstairs shared patio to grill and watch sunsets, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer along the entry staircase.
As of June 2022 there's a stylish frozen drink shop operating during the day on the first floor of the building.
Guest access
Keys will be provided to a caretaker who can also help with bags when you arrive. The apartment has paid parking available a couple of blocks a way.
Guests have access to a full laundry room and upstairs patio for sunsets and grilling. This patio rests on top of the open-air kitchen, dining, and living rooms, and is accessed by climbing the spiral staircase in the apartment's deck area. Please note that a lockable waist high veranda gate separates the patio from access to the deck, kitchen, living and dining rooms of this apartment.

Please note that a patio shared with one more apartment rests on top of this apartment's open-air spaces. A lockable waist high veranda gate separates the patio from access to the deck, kitchen, living and dining rooms of this apartment.
We can provide an extra floor mattress upon request, and the living room has a sofa bed as well. Some street noise can filter into the bedrooms at night, which bedroom fans and white noise speakers drown out for light sleepers.
Lastly, we can't allow any type of loud or disruptive activity or event on the property that will disturb our neighbors.
