Sea Isle Bay Watch Canal Home Sleeps 8 Dog Friendly Great fishing w kayak launch
Sea Isle Bay Watch is a Galveston vacation home located on a live water canal and is the second house from the open bay in the Sea Isle neighborhood. Fish all day and night from the yard and enjoy beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset! Seasonal guests have reported daytime and nighttime catches of trout, redfish, flounder, croaker, drum, ladyfish and an occasional gar. Weather permitting, there are water activities to enjoy including swimming or kayaking. The immediate areas around the bay in front of Sea Isle can produce some great catches.
The property includes a concrete ramp kayak launch (see overhead picture with red outline), 2 kayaks with paddles and life jackets, a lily pad, corn hole boards, outdoor seating and an indoor bar area with 50" Roku smart TV, hammock, and 2 individual hanging hammock chairs. There are 4 comfortable chairs around a table large enough for an outdoor lunch or a game of cards and 4 additional barstools for seating outside or inside around the bar top. There are also a few extra chairs stacked in the garage and two Adirondack chairs upstairs on the porch. If you live an active outdoor lifestyle or just want a quiet comfortable stay indoors, there is something here for everyone!
Launch your boat from the community boat ramp at the marina complex or go fishing (day or night) from the community lighted fishing pier. The pier requires a keycard for entry and that keycard is located in the house near the key required for the boat ramp. Sea Isle charges $150/each for keys lost or not returned so PLEASE make sure to leave the boat ramp and fishing pier keys in the house on check out. The house also has a green under water fishing light and a fish cleaning table.
This 3-bedroom / 2 bath canal front vacation home is owner managed. The "upstairs" or main house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and living area.
The "ground" level includes a bar area with Smart TV, 4 bar stools, cooler for your iced beverages, table and chairs for 4, enclosed storage area, and full bathroom with shower. The full "downstairs" bathroom is not climate controlled but is fully plumbed with hot and cold water and the ample shower is perfect for after the beach or fishing. The enclosed storage area is where you will find a few of the items listed below and is also available for storing your fishing and beach items during your stay. There is a hose with nozzle available near the driveway to rinse your beach or fishing gear in the grass.
There are 2 life jackets, lily pad, hammock, 2 hammock chairs, corn hole, and a couple of other items. An Old Smoky BBQ grill is also provided.

As your hosts, we live in the Sea Isle neighborhood and are perpetually updating this vacation home to provide you with what we hope is a great vacation experience. This year's improvements included the painting of the living room and one bedroom and hallway, installation of new smart ROKU TVs in every room, new oven/stove and vent hood, new dishwasher, new ceiling fans and LED lighting (indoors and out), new whole-house tankless hot water heater (for continuous hot water!), installation and build out of the downstairs bar area, new granite kitchen counter tops, new stainless steel undermounted kitchen sink, many new kitchen items, new custom built in marble shower and glass door, new toilets in both bathrooms, new mini blinds and window coverings on all windows, new 6 foot privacy fence, complete new central AC and heating system and relocation of the washer/dryer from the garage to the upstairs living area of the house. Future improvements planned for the coming months include the addition of a new hot tub downstairs, additional concrete and seating area, additional outdoor lighting, a roll-up door for the bar opening and all new upper deck and stairway.
All bedrooms, living room, and downstairs bar area have Roku TVs and ceiling fans.

1. 5-6 washing machine pods, dryer sheets, and spray & wash
2. 5-6 dishwasher pods
3. 1 roll paper towels
4. 3-4 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom
5. Trash bags in all cans with a few extras
6. 5-6 Keurig coffee pods
7. salt, pepper, garlic salt, vanilla, sugar, powdered coffee creamer, vegetable oil
8. (8) bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and make-up wipes
9. (8) beach towels
10. extra blankets and pillows in every bedroom
11. bedding for sleeper sofa
12. closet and dresser in each room with hampers for dirty clothes and luggage rack/stand in each room

My husband's family had a place here when he was 10. He talked about having summers with no shoes! We started renting in Sea Isle in 1998, which eventually lead to buying a house here in 2004. We live in Sea Isle full time and owner manage 3 houses in the neighborhood. We love it here and hope that you will too!

We owner manage this property. We are constantly updating and making any necessary repairs. For us, it is not about the bottom dollar, it's about you and your family having an amazing stay at a very clean well stocked house. We love the house and hope that you will too.
Sea Isle Bay Watch is the second house from the bay. We catch everything from the yard. The kayak launch is the only one in the neighborhood. Enjoy canal activities all day. We have a lily pad, 2 kayaks, a paddle board. You can also launch your boat in the neighborhood and tie it up for the day at the house.
