Välkommen till vårt charmiga hem ... renoverat från topp till botten. Denna vackra strandstuga i stuga stil har sin egen enorma massa, trägolv, bänkskivor i granit, 7 fullängds anpassade fönster mot havet, och ett stort däck med delvis skugga.

Det stora sovrummet har ett vackert, stort privat badrum med en överdimensionerad dusch, två sänkor, fåfängar i granit och ett badkar i klöfot. De franska dörrarna öppnar mot sidodäcket, som sveper runt till havets sida av hemmet.

Däck är delvis skuggat för dig som bara vill koppla av i svalheten i havsbrisen, medan den andra hälften av däck är upptäckt för solälskare som vill sola sig i dagens värme. Njut av de fantastiska soluppgångar och solnedgångar från denna STORA lindning runt däck!

Vardagsrummet har två soffor och en fåtölj. Den blå randiga soffan öppnas till en drottningssäng för de sena nattugglarna som bara inte vill åta sig att gå till ett sovrum för att sova.

Det finns en badtunna på däck för din avkoppling i slutet av dagen. Hot tub är igång hela året.

Förvaringsskåpet i slutet av hallen innehåller extra kuddar och filtar för våra gästs komfort, samt lite extra golvutrymme för resväskor och hyllor för föremål.

Det finns romaner, tidskrifter, barnböcker, DVD-skivor och spel samt Sattelite-tv för din underhållning medan du är på semester.

Great for fishing on the beach at night. Bring groceries plenty is space and equipment to cook. There is a market close by but it’s expensive.We loved the table in the kitchen. It helped bring everyone together. Relax and have fun!

The property was spot-on for what is advertised. There are chairs, boogie boards, etc. available for use. However if you’re planning to fish, I’d suggest bringing your own equipment. Wonderful views and easy access to the beach! We will consider staying here again.

Being right on the beach was great. It was like having our own private beach. Hot tub was cleaned on our first day and the day we left. House was very clean and beds were comfortable

House is right on the beach and extremely clean upon our arrival. We had a couple of issues with not being able to sign into the WiFi and not being able to get Direct TV. The owner did send a QR code and we were able to sign into the WiFi. There was a hot tub on the back deck but, we didn’t use it due to our Texas heat outside. I did lift the top and it was definitely clean and taken care of. Overall we would highly recommend the rental, the owners bent over backwards to help with any issues. We would definitely book it again.Billy & Barbara

Clean house in a great location with great views. The beach is right there and we seemingly had it to ourselves. Love that the hot tub also had a great view from the balcony. Would definitely stay again.

The beach view was wonderful! The hot tub was perfect! It was the little things that disappointed me. We stayed for a week but the coffee filters were only for three days (we brought our own coffee), the front door squeaked loudly, and there was no where to hang long dresses. Again the place is wonderful but the little things were missing.

We had been renting homes for years in the Galveston area and always wanted one of our own! The minute I saw this home, I fell in love with it! This place was old and dilapidated, but sat on the most beautiful piece of land with a deep lot and it's own private beach… This was my dream home that could be torn apart and renovated to be exactly the way we wanted it! Our ideas and creativity could come alive through the art of renovation in this home - not only for our enjoyment and entertainment, but for yours as well!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Poppy's Place has a beautiful, front facing ocean view from almost every room in the entire house. In 2 of the 3 bedrooms, you literally see the ocean as soon as you open your eyes in the morning!
And there is a full view of the ocean from the living room and kitchen as well.

Our huge, custom made deck is half shaded and half open to the sun, which allows those who want to relax in the shade and those who want to bask in the sun to still be at the same place at the same time, enjoying each other's company! This deck has plenty of room for every guest AND for the hot tub!

The view from the deck is the best you could ever get! During stage 2 of our renovation of this home, we removed the wooden pickets and lattice siding and replaced those with wire siding that still keeps you and the children safe, yet allows you to have a virtually uninterrupted view of the dunes, beach, and ocean - regardless of how tall you are! We also added a couple of TALL deck chairs! Now, you can see over the railing to bask in the beauty of the beach AND when you are looking out from the living room, kitchen, or the 2 ocean view bedrooms, you will actually see the ocean rather than wooden boards and lattice! I promise you that the view is amazing!!

We have the new hot tub set on the sunny side of the deck, so you can enjoy peering at the moon and stars at night or enjoy the sun during the off seasons when it is a little bit cooler outside.

The master bathroom has an oversized shower for those who like to have the extra space. It also has a beautiful, extra long, freshly refinished claw foot bathtub that adds to the beauty and uniqueness of this home.

When is the last time that you rented a home directly on the beach with granite counter tops, wooden floors, hot tub on the deck, oversized shower in the master suite, and a claw foot tub? We love the simple charm of our home.
