Was a nice home had everything we needed. Only downfall is the foot board broke on one of the beds and guest slept on couch for one night.

Nice property. It provided us with the space we needed to gather as a family. Loved that there are bedrooms on the main floor. Mattress in the left bedroom on main level needs to be replaced.

Quiet location but close enough to Galena for an easy trip. Only issue was the coffee maker. With 6 coffee drinkers waiting 40 mins for a pot of coffee was annoying. But everything else was great. Highly recommend

Great place for a getaway

We had a ladies weekend getaway this past weekend and the house was perfect. Location was great. We watched wild turkeys running around outside while sipping our coffee. Loved unwinding in the hot tub each evening. Super cozy home. We will definitely return!

Weekend Getaway

The property was great for our couples weekend getaway. Every bedroom had a king/queen bed and a full bathroom which made it perfect for the 4 couples in our group. We enjoyed sitting on the deck for the majority of our time and utilized the screened in porch when it rained. There was lots of wildlife visible from the deck. The hot tub was a big hit too!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second time we stayed in the house. It is perfect for our sibling and spouse weekend.We all have our own bedroom and bath. We love that it is close to the entrance to the Territory. Probably the only downfall is the parking for three vehicles. There is no actual driveway and the parking area is small and needs work.

Perfect home for 8 women!

This great spacious 4BR home, each with attached bath, was perfect for a group of 8. So much room to spread out and enjoy each other's company and independent time. Unfortunately because of the heat, we did not take advantage of either deck or screened in porch - but the view of wooded acreage was lovely! The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. We had one issue the first morning with an incredibly slow brewing coffee maker. A call was made and when we got back from our morning outing, there was a brand new coffee maker sitting on the steps. Great customer service! Thanks for providing the perfect space for siblings, cousins, and friends!

Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience staying at the rental in Galena Illinois the property was exactly as described on the website clean comfortable and dog friendly which was a huge Plus for us the furniture and beds were cozy and the space was beautifully decorated with especially enjoyed the eclectic art collection including pieces from France wine cork art and even a dart board that added a fun touch the location was peaceful and private yet conveniently close to the General Store a local restaurant and the golf course downtown Galena was a short 15 minute drive away make it an easy to explore while still enjoying the quiet of the property one small issue the coffee maker either needed instructions or wasn't working properly it took nearly 2 hours to brew in the coffee didn't taste right that aside everything else was smooth I had a couple of questions about accessing the website for my Android phone and the management was quick to respond and sent helpful PDF documents overall a lovely State and well managed property would definitely recommend

Wonderful Winter Retreat

The house was big enough for our group of six adults dog, with plenty of places to spread out and relax. We were able to use the hot tub until the temps dropped below 10 degrees but there were plenty of other things to do. The house isn't far from downtown Galena and is an easy drive with only a few twists and turns. The fireplace kept us warm and we had plenty of firewood for cozy nights at home. I would highly recommend this rental.
