Hobble Creek Mountain Retreat

About this space
Welcome to our stylish mountain retreat!
Located just minutes from various ski resorts, hiking trails and just a short walk on our property to Hobble Creek. Catch a BYU football game - just 20 minutes away or play a round of golf up the canyon - only minutes away! We also live near a small reservoir where you can spend the day on the lake in the sun.
Love shopping? We are just 40 minutes from City Creek Shopping Center and various other attractions in Salt Lake City.
The space
This space is a newly finished 2,000 sqf basement in our home. Each room has a large window to let in ample light. Each bedroom has light filtering privacy shades as well as black out shades for a good nights rest.
Guest access
During your stay you will have access to the entire basement apartment with private entry and private driveway. There is a spacious side yard with a playset and zipline. A short walk across our back yard and down the hill you can access Hobble Creek for a quick dip in the fresh mountain water. The views here are incredible with some of the best sunsets.

Great communication with Host. Very clean accommodations. The kids had fun with the games available. All amenities available in kitchen and bathrooms. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Everyone slept well and the eight of us were very comfortable.

Very spacious, up do date and large property which is in a good location to access the Wasatch front. The owners are very friendly and do all they can to accomodate their guests. We really enjoyed our stay!

It was a great location in a upscale neighborhood. There was plenty of privacy and a private driveway with access to the front door. It was convenient to have a access code to open and lock the door. The owner was very quick to respond and assist with any inquiries.My family had a great time in utah and staying at this location. It was a good size yard that kids could play. The view in the backyard was very nice and the creek was within walking distance.

Beautiful Home in a Quiet Neighborhood

The home was exactly as advertised. The property and location are beautiful and everything was perfectly spotless. We were a little concerned about renting a basement unit, but were pleasantly surprised by the privacy of this property. Check-in and check-out was seamless and we would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Location

We had the absolute best time staying here! The place is truly fantastic—beautiful, impeccably clean, and by far the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely comfortable, and everything was just perfect. The hosts are amazing, so welcoming and kind. This is the first time I’ve ever been able to fall asleep on the very first night—it usually takes me days to feel this at home! The owner was incredibly kind and lighthearted, graciously guiding us to the correct entrance. The downstairs unit has its own private entry and driveway, making access easy and convenient. Despite being a basement rental, it’s surprisingly bright, spacious, and modern. It’s a fantastic place to stay, especially if you’re traveling with kids or visiting family.
