Mt. Vista is a cozy A-frame vacation home, ideal for a couple or a small family. This home features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom on the main floor, along with a loft that includes 2 double bedsâperfect for extra sleeping space.
Our office is right here in the Powderhorn area with on-site maintenance, housekeeping, and reservation staff ready to help. Youâll always have support nearby, and if youâd rather not stop in, weâre also available 24/7 by call, message, or email. Whatever works best for you, weâre here to make your stay as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Nestled in the heart of the Upper Peninsula, the Powderhorn area is a true four-season destination.
The neighborhood also offers great local spots to enjoyâgrab a hearty meal at Iron Nugget, sip a coffee at Copper Cup, try out a beer at old Iron Brewery or try a local favorite at Pit Stop, Uptown CafĂ©, or Club 28. Youâll also find shopping, live music, and seasonal festivals nearby that bring the community to life.
In winter, youâre just steps from Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort and a few miles from Snow River for skiing and snowboarding, along with direct access to hundreds of miles of scenic snowmobile trails. When the snow melts, the adventure continues with hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, fishing, and exploring the beauty of the Northwoods.

We are conveniently located just off US-2 and only a few miles from Ironwood Airport, which offers daily flights through Denver Air. Whether youâre arriving by car or by air, our location makes getting here easy and stress-free, putting you close to all the area has to offer.
The main floor offers a comfortable kitchen, a dining area, and a welcoming living room with a gas fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The home is tastefully decorated, making it a perfect retreat to relax after a day on the slopes.
A charcoal grill is located on the small front deck for outdoor cooking. Wi-Fi is available throughout the home, and cable TV and a landline phone are also provided for your convenience.
Mt. Vista is located just 4 blocks from the main ski lodge, offering easy access to the slopes. Dogs are not allowed in this home.
