We had a good time in California. The pool was clean and warm. The kitchen faucet shot water out and you had to be sure bottom bathroom faucet was tight so the water would not drip. We would come back. Great location

Had a great week visiting family in California. Loved the number of beds and bedrooms. The pool was chilly, but still fun! The house is as described. Location was perfect, near supermarkets and places to eat. We would stay again.

Great location for our needs. Fit a group of 7 comfortably. Communication with host was great. Only qualm was with cleanliness which wasn’t five star quality but definitely not the worst out there.

We hosted Dana, and her group they were great guest very respectful to the home and kept it in good condition.Also, we strive to provide all of our guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Cleanliness and guest satisfaction are very important to us, and we work hard to ensure every stay is enjoyable and meets our standards.

House was cute lots of space. The only thing i would mention is water pressure was really low especially hot water. Not going to give a negative review maybe just mention in listing. Other than that house was super cute!

We were happy with this property as a base for visiting LA. It’s actually quite hard to find a rental with a pool within our budget, so this was a great option for the price. The location was convenient for exploring places like Hollywood, and the facilities were practical and comfortable. The property could do with a bit of a deep clean in places but otherwise was ok. Glendora is also quite a nice neighbourhood with a nice stretch of restaurants etc. Overall we were very pleased with the value and enjoyed our stay.

Had struggled to open lock box in the heat sort of amplified the anxiety to open it..and then I couldn't close it. Key pad door lock would be better. Pool guy rang doorbell excessively until I woke up to answer the door demanding I have the owner call him..Kitchen sink plumbing fell off while washing some dishes and saturated the floors. Luckily my brother was visiting and fixed it. Only got a thank you for it. Hand towel in bathroom had dirty hand prints on it and black dirt build up in corners. Like smeared dirt on floors feeling sticky on shoes, made feet and socks dirty from walking barefoot on it. Simple fixes for owner to make things nicer for the next quest. Perhaps a new housekeeper! House either hot or cold but easy to adjust with fans or opened windows. Dull knives, no cutting board, wine opener broke to pieces, had to use a knife to get cork out, but left a new one we had to get. Other then that, we enjoyed our stay. Comfortable, spacious, great location, loved pool and would recommend. Owner quick to respond but no reward offered for our troubles.

This house worked for us except for two things. The upstairs bedroom was too hot to sleep in. Thermostat is controlled, set at 72. The downstairs bedrooms are comfortable, but not the upstairs. Maybe a ceiling fan would help with the upstairs bedroom. The second thing, and the reason we won’t use this rental again, is that we like to prepare our meals at home rather than go out, but every pan was scratched up old Teflon, which releases toxins into food. They were not safe. Old stainless steel pans are easily found at thrift stores or garage sales. I hope they will replace those toxic pans.

Loretta and her group stayed with us, and we’re sorry to hear she didn’t enjoy her stay. Regarding the temperature, the home is set to 72°F, which is generally considered a comfortable standard for most guests. In the past, lowering the temperature significantly has caused the HVAC system to run continuously and even freeze, leading to costly repairs. For this reason, we maintain a set range to ensure both comfort and proper system function for all guests. As for the cookware, all pots and pans were purchased brand new. However, as with any shared home, normal use over time can result in some wear and tear, especially with frequent cooking. We do our best to provide a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained space, and we appreciate all feedback as it helps us continue improving the guest experience.

Perfect family getaway

The pros:The house is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood. It is large enough that you're not on top of one another and have room to roam. The pool is large with a sliding scale from shallow to deep end. The deep end was surprisingly very deep (more than the typical 6ft). The house has all the amenities you need. Plenty of plates, silverware, towels (even pool towels), toilet paper, shower products, etc. There are even pool toys and floats! The beds are comfortable. and the room darkening drapes help keep the sun out. It is a great location. Close to the highways, shopping, and restaurants. Easy to get in and out of. Check in and out was a breeze, and communication with the agent was easy and very responsive. The house is exactly what you see in the pictures.The cons:The only and I mean ONLY con would be if you like your house to feel like a freezer from the AC. The AC is locked at 70 degrees. Which is understandable for the heat this time of year (July). The house has strong portable fans in every room that help to cool it down. It was not unpleasant and was very comfortable for our family. The house cools down tremendously once the sun goes down. But overall, we were extremely comfortable. Just a heads up if you like icicles on your windows! What also makes this house great, is it isn't like those in Anaheim with the noise ordinance where you are not allowed outside after 9pm. The pool area is fenced & has outdoor table and chairs. This was the perfect house for us!
