This cottage was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. There was street parking right out front and we were within walking distance of some cool shops, etc. The bed was extremely comfortable and the yard was superb. The decor was top-notch! We hung out on the front porch in the rockers. I got to see an amazing lightning light show from this porch. Perfect place for a perfect stay in Chattanooga.

The place was clean and a good size for one person. My only complaint is that the bed was very uncomfortable, which matters to me a lot when traveling. I slept very poorly while there. The place was cute but I’d say had too many tchotchkes cluttering the place which meant there was less room to put your things

The host was quick to respond to any of my questions, check in was easy and smooth, the cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The location was walking distance to north shore and grocery stores.

Beautifully done renovation of this cute cottage in a historic neighborhood. Lots of little touches that make it special! Easy to get to, easy check in and parking options. Neighborhood is up and coming. Comfy bed and good shower!

Easy access to shopping, restaurants etc. Charming decor , well supplied with amenities. Sarah responded quickly to communications but VRBO platform was in annoying overdrive. Bed was very firm (my personal taste). Would stay here again. Niedlov's and Milk&Honey were wonderful - staff, food and ambience.

Great Stay

What a phenomenal place to stay! Just a few blocks away from restaurants, shops and bars on the North Shore, and just a couple of mins away from all the activities in downtown Chattanooga. Great house and cute neighborhood. We had a little hitch upon arrival, but the host was very responsive! We will stay here again when in Chattanooga! I would definitely recommend you stay here (unless you are trying to book on the days we want to stay here haha).

Historic, unique, wonderful location!

This historic cottage provided us a clean and handy location to the North Shore area. We loved the decor and interesting story of this well decorated cottage. All the essentials plus top notch coffee, tea and snacks were provided. We just needed to bring our pajamas! Our stay was cozy and comfortable and we would love to return to Nealis Cottage.

Great Location!

This was a perfect spot for me and my husband on our anniversary getaway. The bungalow is decorated perfectly with vintage decor. The hosts had everything we could've needed, including a few snacks, coffee station, extra pillows and blankets, and a binder of info. The location is perfect, just a short walk from bridges leading downtown, and a few miles from fun breweries like Oddstory, Tailgate, and Five Wits. There's a Publix nearby. We definitely recommend Milk & Honey for brunch! Book this spot. You'll have no regrets!

Relax

I enjoyed my stay. The house was very clean. Clear instructions. I felt comfortable, relaxed and safe. I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area. The decor of the house was very well. Fought out and executed. You get out that the owner put a lot of thoughts and care to how the house looked. With that being said, I didn’t quite understand why they provided 1-ply toilet paper.

Great space, poor communication

The house was great. Very clear instructions and whereabouts to everything you may need (towels, TP, restaurants, coffee, etc.). All of the finishes were so cute. However, as we booked the stay I asked the owner if we could check in prior to 4pm. No response. Asked again a few days later and I heard back that she would let me know. Asked a few days prior to booking date as we were making plans, no response. One last final ask, no response. We didn’t check in early or ever see a response from her. I’m glad getting into the house was clear and easy as I’m not sure she would have responded in a timely manner. I then asked if we could book a second night as plans shifted. No response. So don’t expect communication.

Very cute historical cottage. Perfect for just my hubby and me. We walked to restaurants and stores. Neighbors were friendly. We have also stayed in the house next door. Host was excellent both times. Highly recommend.
