Behöver en bekväm basläger för dina äventyr i WNC? Kolla inte vidare! Detta hem är idealiskt beläget inom en mil från DuPont State Forest. Du kan rida din cykel till spår, kom hem för lunch och gå ut för att fiska eller flyta en flod på eftermiddagen. Avsluta dagen med middag i Brevard eller komma på hem och laga mat och njuta av en brasa.

Detta hem är undanstoppad i berget lagern i ett mycket lugnt och privat miljö. Denna gemenskap var endast tillgänglig för många år till medlemmar i Stone familjen. Missa inte en chans att tillbringa tid i en av de vackraste och historiska sommarställe platser i västra North Carolina! Cyklister, mountainbikecyklister, vandrare, flugfiskare .... komma och bo på vårt hem !!! Vi vet att du kommer att älska det! Var noga med att titta på vår video!

Wonderful stay

We have stayed in this home many times and always enjoy our stay. The home is consistently clean and located in a lovely area that is convenient to Dupont & Pisgah. The owner is very responsive and incredibly kind. We love this rental!

Birthday Getaway

I rented this property to celebrate a few birthdays in our group and we had a great time. The cabin was perfect for us and the owner was nice. Despite the chilly weather, we had an awesome trip, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything went.

Location location

I believe we have stayed here four times now and we will be back again. Can’t beat the location for riding DuPont or Pisgah. Great food at cedar mtn cafe and away from all the humans in Brevard.

Fourth time

This was our fourth time staying at this property. We love the location and how well maintained the home is. It’s private but still close to plenty of activities and amenities. Looking forward to booking year number 5!

Cedar Mountain

The house was perfect! We had everything we needed for us and our dog. Plenty of outdoor activities just around the corner and great food at the cafe down the road. We would definitely stay here again. The host was very quick to respond and reached out with additional information.

Beautiful House

The home was beautiful and check/ check out went smoothly. I felt the pictures of the outside area were quite deceiving as the yard was very small. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Never have to leave Cedar Mtn

Great location for hiking and mountain biking, Cedar Mountain NC now has pretty much everything you need to never have to go into the big city, “Brevard” 😁 very private location, I’ve travelled the area by car, bike, and foot for 13+ years and never knew this street existed.

The Absolute Best

This was our best experience at any type of rental property. The home was just as it was projected - well-appointed, spacious, clean, comfortable, and located in a wonderful spot. The rocking chairs on the porch overlooking the forest was a bonus. We were there primarily for hiking and outdoor enjoyment. The area is rich in opportunities. We took advantage of a variety of food choices and shopping a few minutes drive away in Brevard. The owner has provided a well thought out opportunity here. This is a comfortable and convenient property. We will be back!

Great DuPont home base

Awesome, very clean and nicely decorated cabin located so close to DuPont State Park. Loved our time in the cabin after busy days mountain biking in the area!

Summer Heaven ( yes, I know )

The cottage was everything and more of what we remembered from a stay 7 years ago. The owner was kind enough to insure we could manipulate the driveway, bringing in sand and shoveling some ice. So thoughtful. Thanks, Melinda for sharing and caring. We'll be back!

New Year’s Get Away

My husband, two college age sons and I spent 7 days at this beautiful cabin to ring in the New Year. The cabin is well stocked, clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Summer Haven Christmas Getaway

We had a lovely stay. Convenient to Dupont Forest and Caesar's Head. The accomodations were perfect. Very clean and had all the conveniences of home. Check in very easy, communication with the host was great.

The most relaxing vacation ever

We all agree it was so peaceful we just didn't want to leave the porch. The house was beautifully decorated and well cared for and we thank you. Our biggest regret wea that we had to leave.

Hiking Getaway for Seniors

This spot is the perfect location for a hiking getaway!! Perfect location, very quiet and secluded, very clean and accommodating. We definitely plan to be back. Melinda was very informative and helpful!! She gets a 10+ !!!

We love adventure and beautiful places. We have been passionate kayakers, mountain bikers, cyclists, fly fishermen and explorers of new places for most of our lives.

This location has a wonderful long history, a beautiful historic outdoor chapel is our closest neighbor and there are many wild places to explore within just a short drive. This is a paradise location where you can play outdoors year 'round.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This is such a quiet and peaceful spot. I love walking the dogs down the road to a little creek with a swimming hole just big enough for cooling them off. Being able to ride your bike from the home to go mountain biking or cycling for the day is amazing. And we couldn't ask for nicer neighbors!
