Stuga nr 1, känd som "Bear Ridge View", ligger på 64 privatägda tunnland ovanpå Mine Mountain, som ligger ungefär tio minuter från ingången till Pisgah Forest. Stugan har nyligen renoverats och innehåller två sovrum (1 King & 1 drottning), 2 bad och ett modernt kök med bänkskivor i granit och rostfritt stål apparater. Här finns också generösa utanför däck med en uteservering, trådlöst internet, Direct TV, DVD-spelare och bibliotek, en tvättmaskin och torktumlare, och en gasgrill. Gästerna kan njuta av ensamheten i området medan gunga på den nybyggda täckt veranda. Denna veranda med utsikt över Pisgah Forest, har gott om plats för stora grupper, samt en takfläkt och rörlig belysning för att garantera året runt komfort. Bear Ridge View, med knotiga-furupanel och charmig inredning med en blandning av unika antikviteter och nyare bitar, är en idealisk stuga för par eller små familjer.

Effektiviteten stuga, känd som "Moonshine Shack", ligger i anslutning till denna stuga och har ett stort viktigaste rum, inklusive ett pentry och sovalkov, samt ett bad och en täckt veranda. The property was perfect for a relaxing time away. We spent a good majority of our time on the covered deck enjoying the quiet and serene environment and nature! We were close enough to grocery stores to get the essentials and close enough to enjoy downtown Brevard. We loved that the house is very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances and kitchen wares you would need and the beds and pillows were very comfortable for a good night’s rest. Our fur baby Annie probably had the best time. She thoroughly enjoyed viewing and trailing all the wildlife on the mountain!We had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider going back!

If I had a VRBO it would be just like this! Generous with items that you might forget to bring! Furnishings were lovely, bedding was great, well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture and wood burning fireplace. We loved staying in the mountain tree house!! We spent quite a bit of time on the back porch surrounded by trees! It was the perfect location for us to enjoy our visit with our grandson at Brevard. The gravel road leading to the cabin was a bit scary at first, but after a couple trips back and forth it was fine. So quiet and peaceful. We got lucky finding this place and we look forward to coming back!

Wonderful Mountain Retreat

Loved staying in this cabin nestled in the trees! Loved the rustic feel, but with all the modern conveniences. Very close to downtown Brevard, the college and outdoor activities. Will recommend this place to stay!

Great stay

Cabin was as described. We were out most of the time so didn’t use most of the amenities. There is another smaller “cabin” on the property so if that bothers you there’s that. Not sure if that’s available to stay at as well or not. We didn’t have anyone else on the property. Great place to stay while in Brevard!

Mountain Getaway

This is the 6th time we have stayed at this property, and its always been great. The drive up the mountain (and down) may seem long, but its worth it! 360degree decks, peace and quite, and a beautiful space. Easy drive into Brevard or Asheville or Hendersonville, and very convenient to great hiking and waterfalls. We alternate between dining out and cooking in. Sipping some coffee on the back porch as the sun comes up is perfection. (If you like to get up early, that may just be me!)

Extended get away

The house is great. Beds are very comfortable. The house is very well appointed. Easy access to hiking trails. Our dog is welcome, which is a plus. They supply enough firewood for a week. My only complaint is we don't want to leave.Communication with the property manager is easy. Always available to help.

Just what we needed

The cabin was exactly what we expected and more. Everything we needed was there. the beds were super super comfortable. We were close to Brevard, which was nice and convenient. We loved having an awesome fire every night. And especially enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning in blankets. We do plan on coming back.

Great Location, Great Place

This is our 3rd time staying at this home, it is a very nice home and we love the location. The house needs some updating, handles on chest of drawers are broken (for all 3 stays), the hutch in dining room is broken, the entertainment stand is broken. The kitchen is not well stocked, I would like to have a few more large pots to cook sauce as well as pasta at the same time and they are in need of Tupperware. We do really love this place, I just wish they would update a little.

Great remote location

We really enjoyed just being able to get away from everything and relaxing for a few days. This cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch listening to the birds and reading.

Comfortable house, all you need to relax

This property is very clean, with lots of extras as far as quality of decor and comfort. It is located in an area that has many things to do within a short drive. At the end of the day you will relax on the beautiful deck, rain or shine. There’s a wrap-around covered porch on all sides. Would definitely recommend!

anniversary trip

This cabin is amazing. We had the best time. We hiked up in the Parkway, walked around downtown Brevard, hiked Dupont and visited some breweries. We spent evenings and mornings on the very spacious porch-listening and watching all the birds.We enjoyed the peace and quiet!!! This cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals. It was just so relaxing.I can't say enough good things about this cabin. We had all meals and morning coffee on porch just because it was like Heaven on the porch. We will definitely be coming back to stay here!!!!

Cabin in the trees

A relatively short, steep and winding drive from the highway up to the beautiful, comfortable cabin in the trees on top of a mountain, not far from towns, Bear Ridge was the perfect spot for my husband and I! We loved sitting on the wraparound porch being serenaded by the birds as we celebrated Mother’s Day and our anniversary. It was a great base for exploring the National Parks, Pisgah and DuPont Forests, and trails and waterfalls of Transylvania County and beyond! Great restaurants and local breweries, white squirrels and lovely shops and galleries, etc., in Pisgah Forest and Brevard. The cabin is well stocked, comfortable, safe (deadbolts and bear proof trash can), and there’s plenty of space inside and out to enjoy. I hope we get the chance to come back!

Cozy Cabin off the beaten path

We stayed at the cabin for 3 days with our adult children to attend a wedding and explore the DuPont and Pisgah Forest. The cabin was very clean, cozy and well equipped with everything you would need to prepare meals, including a few spices, cooking oil, sugar and honey for coffee, which was an unexpected surprise! The expansive wrap around porch was lovely with peaceful, serene views of the Pisgah Forest, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening and coffee in the mornings. This cabin is quite secluded in the forest and a long drive (about 3mi) up a steep mountain, and ends with a trek up a gravel road that leads to the cabin. We were surprised by how hair-raising the drive was up the mountain (full transparency we are from Florida where everything is flat!) and would not advise arriving for check-in at night as the roads are very dark and the gravel road to the cabin is easy to miss It was a bit inconvenient traveling up and down the mountain to get to the town; however, If you want to escape to the forest and don’t mind the drive up and down the mountain to get to amenities, then this is the place for you. We hiked the trails around Hooker, Triple and High Falls and visited Looking Glass falls. We also visited the cute town of Brevard, where we ate at several good restaurants. Overall, we had a great trip, but the take-a-way for us is that we would prefer a cabin that’s not quite as secluded as this one. All said, it’s beautiful mountain cabin!

In addition, Brevard is a charming Appalachian town that offers a thriving music and arts community, as well as fantastic shopping and dining.
