The property is beach front and housed myself, my husband, his parents and my mother. This property has so much potential but was severely lacking in some areas. For example: the balcony railing was held together with a zip tie. We were afraid to put any pressure on it because it wiggled with the slightest touch. My husband works in HVAC and checked the air filter... It was completely covered in dirt and debris and the date on it was crossed our from July of 2024 and wrote on top was 2025. There was dust in all the rooms. The kitchen was poorly stocked with no cutting boards, knives that were too dull to cut through anything, no oven pan to cook on, and when we pulled out dishes we had to wash them before we used them because they were dirty. The cushions on the bar stools are stained. There was no broom in the house to sweep up the sand that was brought in after spending time at the beach. We ended up buying our own broom. We left the condo cleaner then we found it. Beds were thin and hurt to sleep on after a few nights. Not a complaint: but one thing that surprised us was that when we got in the unit, there was no welcome book explaining anything we may have needed to know to do when arriving/departing. Some good things: they had a beach wagon, chairs and buckets with sifters to use at the beach. There was a pool on the property as well as a kiddie pool and hot tub area. They had a Roku TV in each room and plenty of dresser/closet space for your belongings. Pet friendly

The beachfront location was great! The advertised hot tub did not work all week. The dryer did not dry the clothes. Management responded to contacts. However, neither issue was ever addressed.

Great location

The property was as advertised. Plenty of room for all 6 of us. Being directly on the beach was great with the grandkids. The garage parking was perfect. We would stay here again!

Review of Sea Castle - disappointment with property

The location of this property at Crescent Beach in North Myrtle Beach, SC is fantastic. Gorgeous ocean views, easy beach access, and a spacious layout that fit our family’s needs. Communication with the host was prompt, and we appreciated the flexibility with a 1-hour early check-in.Unfortunately, several issues impacted our experience. The condo was not properly cleaned when we arrived: wet towels in the washer, mold in the bathrooms including the shower curtains, and dirty floors. When we requested housekeeping to clean the bathrooms, we waited half a day for them to arrive. The unit itself felt worn, with peeling paint, old furniture and appliances, and very uncomfortable mattresses. Shared areas like the pool and hot tub were also poorly maintained and dirty.We encountered multiple maintenance problems: a barely functioning dryer, a broken garbage disposal (which we reset ourselves), a dishwasher backup, outdated cable equipment that required a tech visit, and a beach gate with an incorrect code and faulty latch (which we also had to fix).For the premium price we paid to Royall Stays, we expected a higher level of cleanliness and upkeep. The location is wonderful, but the property would benefit greatly from updated appliances, better housekeeping, and general repairs.

We had issues with the TV and clothes dryer - the Property Management staff were excellent and fixed the problems immediately. The condo was quite dirty especially the floors. We went out and bought a mop - it took 3 washes to get the floors clean. The other issue we had with the condo was that the bedroom windows faced into the buildings hallways- as a result the blinds had to remain closed for privacy and making the bedrooms into dark caves.

Beautiful View

The condo was clean, check in and out were simple, communication with the property manager was convenient and they responded quickly. If you want a nice place with a beautiful view, consider this unit.

Would not recommend this property to anyone.

Tv in living room would not work, communication with property manager did not help to solve this problem. Sink in master bedroom would not drain. Hot water in showers was sporadic at best, and never got warm in the master bathroom after letting it run for ten minutes. Cleanliness of the unit was questionable. The cleaning crew changed the sheets, and left towels but dirt under the beds, and floors were not mopped thoroughly. Sliding glass door to balcony had food and human hair stuck in the tracks. Balcony held together with zip ties which is a safety issue, sliding door was rotted out and not repaired. We have pictures to support all this. Welcome instructions need to be updated, said there weee key cards in a bowl which was not true, we spend time looking for them only to have the Royall Management company tell us it was a typo. Great location

First, the location is perfect! Short walk to the beach with only a few steps to get to the beach. The view is amazing from the door and living room window. The condo is in a centralized location and there are many activities just a short drive away. The biggest disappointment related to the broken door. Our message was quickly received and someone came to look at it day two. However, the door was not able to be fixed and we were unable to freely use the balcony. Moreover, there were zip-ties on parts of the balcony seemingly holding parts of it together. The hot tub was closed for the full week, but the other pools were cleaned daily and a great amenity. I agree with other reviews that it needs some updates. We were told that the property has new owners so hopefully they came continue to invest in changes to make the property match the amazing location.

Large condo!

The condo was very large and spacious. It was clean, but the property is very dated. The refrigerator seal was coming off, the beds felt like you were laying on the boxspring, baseboards and doors were very used and showed lots of wear and tear. The location and the views were fantastic. I think the owner needs to invest a little money to update and fix the unit up a bit.

Why no TV’s in 2 of the bedrooms?

The view was spectacular! Very spacious rooms. We were surprised that 2 of the 3 bedrooms had no TV’s. The living room TV had cable the master bedroom had a Roku TV but none in the other 2 bedrooms. The chairs in the living room need replacing. They are beyond cleaning. Overall it was fine but could use some updating.

Spacious and Clean!

Very spacious and clean condo! Very easy to get to beach and parking - never had a wait for the elevator. Beach was not busy at all! Building is a bit dated, but overall great place to stay and would definitely come back to Sea Castle.
