DoubleTap Creek offers 1000 feet of creekfront and 5 acres of privacy, all within easy access of Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Hot tub. Paved most of the way to the cabin. Dog friendly with a fenced yard. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

-Master bedroom on main floor with new King bed and 50" TV. Bathroom off the hall.
-Living Room with leather furniture, gas log fireplace and 55" TV
-Cozy updated kitchen with gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator
-washer and dryer
-Hot tub on deck
-Covered porch with grill
-1000 feet of creek front
-Upstairs bedroom with king bed full bath ensuite and 50" TV, small refrigerator, electric fireplace, small deck, and bathroom.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. Has what you need to be comfortable and the sound of the creek out back is a pleasant soundtrack to your getaway. 10m drive to civilization, but far enough away to not see or hear it.

Perfect Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was spacious inside and out, quite and very clean. Felt more like a new home than just a cabin. Although a couple of neighbors, they cannot be seen from the hills. Our Husky enjoyed sleeping on wood floors and watching from the deck outside, and enjoyed the shallow creek to play with her ball in, and explore looking for deer. The camp fire set up below near the creek was nice and cozy. Although temperature got low, there was no breeze and high and dry so did not feel as cold. This time of year saw no bugs expect one ladybug. The bedrooms and shower = awesome! We only stayed a couple of nights but our Husky acted like she did not want to leave and we had to call her from the deck after we packed the car, she did see a couple of dear that morning! Although weather got very low outside and could feel a slight draft through front door when closed, the inside temperature was perfect so did not use fireplace/propane fireplace upstairs and downstairs. There are plenty of ceiling fans to regulate temperature throughout the two story cabin-house. The outside Jacuzzi Hot Tub was the perfect touch. Would love to visit again!

The dehumidifier in living room is loud and distracting, I don’t know this is there permanently or was due to recent storms in area but something quieter would be suggested.

Secluded Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my first stay at Double Tap Creek & it is a great addition to Sliding Rock! I will definitely be back. The cabin was very secluded, as advertised, which I love! Very few cars drove past each day. The property was beautiful; we enjoyed the 2 creeks that meet on the property. We brought our beach chairs down each day & sat in the water & enjoyed the sunshine with our dogs. The cabin itself was well decorated & perfect for myself & my mom & our pups. We enjoyed the smart tv's in each room & the bed's were comfortable. I stayed in the upstairs room & was happy with the addition of the new bathroom. It was big & spacious with a great shower- there was no where to put your toiletries in the shower though, besides on the floor, but that didn't bother me. The mattress in the upstairs bedroom was amazing, the kind that can move up & down at the head & feet. So comfortable too. The kitchen is small, but very functional. But beware if you cook a lot, there are not many pots & pans or casserole dishes for cooking. Luckily we brought aluminum pans from home for easy clean up. Also, there weren't a ton of utensils so we bought some in town to add to the kitchen stash as well as some champagne flutes. The grill outside worked great, so if you come I would suggest grilling most meals. Overall, our stay was fantastic & we look forward to returning to DTC.

Short distance from town and other attractions in the area. Wish we had been able to stay longer! We’ll definitely try to stay here again if we come back to this area.

Not only was it meticulously clean, tidy and well decorated; it was very visible the pride taken to build and upkeep. It's in a fantastic location, just a couple miles from town. With that, it's tucked away within the mountains with nothing but privacy and peace. My husband and fur babies had a tremendous weekend!Cabin management sent texts to make sure we were happy and taken care of, excellent communication from them through the entire process. We would highly recommend Double Tap and plan on returning in the future!

The cabin was supplied with most items that are needed and was close enough to stores if you did need something.
