** Den hÀr egenskapen hade viss skada frÄn orkanen Florens, men allt Àr tillbaka till hur det var. Jag var verkligen vÀlsignad över att kunna fortsÀtta gÄ framÄt. Hon vÀntar medvetet pÄ nya och gamla besökare!**

Stugan ligger i en liten by tvÀrs över floden Neuse frÄn centrala New Bern. Precis nere pÄ gatan ligger den nya hamnen i Bridgetown Harbour. Detta mysiga hem byggdes pÄ 1950-talet och har uppdaterats med alla moderna bekvÀmligheter. Det har dekorerats i ett "shabby chic" strandtema. Du kan njuta av en sol veranda med en Nags Head hÀngmatta veranda swing och gungstolar. Perfekt för att koppla av, lÀsa en bra bok eller lyssna pÄ musik.

Du Àr inom gÄngavstÄnd frÄn floden eller sÄ kan du anvÀnda en av de medföljande cyklarna. ** Nytt denna sÀsong: kajaker att anvÀnda vid floden ** Du hittar ett tÀckt bakdÀck med picknickbord och gasgrill för att laga din kvÀllsmÄltid. Inuti har hemmet 2 stora sovrum, ett med en dubbelsÀng och ett med en fullstÀndig och tvÄ enkelsÀngar. Varje sovrum har TV ansluten till kabel. Du hittar 2 fulla bad, ett fullt utrustat kök med spis, frig, mikrovÄgsugn och diskmaskin. Köket erbjuder ocksÄ en frukostbar dÀr du ocksÄ kan Àta.

Det finns en vacker matsal för mer "formell" matsal med ett angrÀnsande vardagsrum. Vardagsrummet har ocksÄ en platt-TV för ditt tittande nöje. SÀngklÀder tillhandahÄlls eller sÄ kan du ta med ditt eget. Det finns en tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare tillgÀngligt precis utanför köket. Du kan ocksÄ anvÀnda kontorsomrÄdet komplett med skrivbord och bokhyllor. WiFi kan nÄs.

Precis tvÀrs över bron kan du besöka det historiska centrala New Bern dÀr du hittar butiker, restauranger, marinor och parker. Var noga med att kolla in alla björnar runt staden. Det Àr bara en 30 minuters bilresa till Atlantic Beach och 1 timme frÄn Cape Lookout. Ett informationspaket kommer att finnas tillgÀngligt vid ankomst för att berÀtta var de mÄnga lokala attraktionerna finns.

We had a great time at the Just in the Moment cottage. This is a quaint little cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked, and we loved the fenced in back porch with the nice little seating areas. It is just minutes away from New Bern, and only an hour away from the ferry to Cape Lookout. We would love to come back for more than the weekend next time.

We actually lived across the street from this property and love being home in Bridgeton. It's quiet yet close to everything. The home was wonderful and we can't say enough about our host who made us feel welcomed!

As advertised, in what can only be described as America’s quietest town Bridgeton NC. The accommodations were clean and fresh smelling in what can only be described as a home away from home. Lots of AC, plenty of fans and laundry too! Fenced in yard made for a comfortable month for our senior huskies too. Recommendation of the highest for 3 nights or like us a value for 30 day stay!

Everything you could possibly need is already there. There's a wonderful park on the river across the street. Very peaceful and comfortable..can't wait to go back. My dog absolutely loved it there also!

Reunited

This was the perfect house for a friend reunion. So much better than a hotel! The carpeting kept things quiet so I could just let them stay up and giggle all night. We had a couple of meals at the house and the kitchen was more than adequate. Great location. It’s a super short drive to New Bern. The neighborhood is safe and so close to the water. I would definitely stay here again the next time we are up.

Totally enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this pet friendly property.

Started mornings with coffee relaxing on the front porch. Nicely decorated Craftsman in peaceful neighborhood. Back porch with fenced in yard fully appreciated as we had our grandpup with us. I loved using one of the bikes to pedal to family member’s house. Owner quickly responsive and friendly. Bridgeton is a cool small town on the water which the photographer in the family took to full advantage.

Lovely Holiday Getaway!

Plenty of room for four adults in this lovely little cottage. Loved the enclosed porch but disappointed we were not able to use - it was just too hot! We were only there for two nights (one full day) so did not have time to air it out and cool it down. Perhaps next time!!

Lovely property

My family had a fantastic time at Just in the Moment cottage. The house is well appointed with plenty of extra linens and essentially anything you need for cooking/grilling. Our favorite moments were relaxing on the sunroom patio after full days out and about. Very convenient to downtown New Bern and a short drive to other scenic neighboring towns. Also, while not formally handicapped-accessible one of us who primarily uses a walker was able to maneuver in the space comfortably. We would definitely recommend to friends.

Home away from home!

We have been renting this house for many years and always have a fun time! Because of the hurricane last September, we missed our usual fall visit. The location is perfect for a quiet, peaceful time away from the fast pace of Raleigh. And it's only a few minutes from downtown New Bern. As usual, we brought our tandem bike and enjoyed many rides on flat roads, saw lots of wildlife (not many cars!), and just had a fabulous time! My husband especially enjoys being so near the water, and we saw some beautiful sunsets. We feel so at home here and look forward to our next visit!

Saturday - owner’s brother came. He used a chainsaw and leaf blower. The neighbor had a large tree removed with a chainsaw from 9am till dark.The home had an over abundance of beach arts and crafts. Making us wonder if it once was a gift shop? There was a smell that reminded us of grandma’s house. It was equipped with everything one could imagine which makes us give a four star review.

Cozy and Comfortable

We really enjoyed this home. The enclosed front porch and the back deck were wonderful spots to relax and the neighborhood was quiet and very walkable. We saw many types of birds an and lots of squirrels, great entertainment. The beds were really comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was a big plus. I hope this home is available for my next visit.

Comfy and cozy!

We absolutely loved this house! Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow, house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the sun room and patio area especially! The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors we spoke to were friendly. Hosts were very responsive and set up the home very thoughtfully. It's a great location with easy access to New Bern. We will try to stay here again next time we come to the area.

The property and location were perfect for us. We were in town for a family wedding and it was close to everyone and everything. Wish we would have found park up street the first day but we went the wrong direction on our walk! Super cute! We really enjoyed our stay!

Nostalgic

I choose this property because I travel with my dogs. The house is the twin to a family home we have in NJ and it felt like I was taking a trip down memory lane. Very cozy and great quiet street. A short drive to downtown New Bern was also a bonus. The patio was my favorite area of the house. I hope to return.

I relocated to New Bern from VA in 2004, looking for a new adventure. I am a nurse and have 2 grown daughters, a stepson and stepdaughter. I married a wonderful man from my hometown in VA after moving to NC and after much soul-searching, decided to move back to VA to be closer to my family. Together, my husband and I decided this home would make a great place to retire.
We have 2 dogs, love working in the yard, traveling, gardening and remodeling projects.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

I purchased this home in 2004 and lived there for almost 5 years. I love the area and find it is close to everything, while still being in a quaint waterside neighborhood. It is quiet and peaceful and the neighbors are friendly. When I decided to move back to VA to be closer to family, I knew I wanted to keep the home, hopefully to retire there in the future. I really wanted to be able to have the home available to me and my family whenever we could visit, so vacation rental seemed like a great option. I love the beach and it is close enough to get there within 30 min.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The name of the cottage, 'Just In the Moment Coastal Cottage' has special meaning to me. I lost my only nephew Justin, (notice the first 2 words!) to melanoma. Justin lived life to the fullest and even though he was only 27, he experienced more in his short life than most do. Because he loved his career as a commercial pilot, you will find a very cool Aviator Bear in the home in his memory. I know Justin would tell you life is best lived in moments and to treasure each moment in time as if it may be your last. That is why I am not waiting to share my home with others. Waiting for 'the right time' never happens. That time is now. I hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
