Island Retreat

This is a great little upstairs home that has all the amenities that you will need for a great vacation. Centrally located to historic downtown, the cruise port and close to the beach for those days that you want to get away. There are 2 rooms each with a queen-sized bed to help you rest for the next day's adventures. Enjoy the evening sitting around the firepit. There is a BBQ to grill up your favorite dinner. We hope you enjoy our home.

Family vacation

It was a great spot in Galveston close to the strip. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Close to Murdocks, pleasure peir, and of course the sea wall. Good spot for small family close to lots of activities and the ocean.

It was very cute and quite place

Was clean but kinda had a smell to it .maybe some plug in they didn't have much to clean with are a frying pan just a small one i gotten some cleaning stuff lift one cleaning supplie there.tv went out in bedroom i told the property manager he was very nice and responded fast it was a nice place overall i stay again

Island Retreat Review

Overall, this property worked extremely well for us. There was enough space and pretty much everything is within walking distance.The only thing to be aware of is there is no dish washer. This would only be an issue if you had a large group staying there, so it wasn't a problem, just something to be aware of.Great host!

Girls weekend getaway

Nice place, mostly quiet. The rain flooded the roads in front of the property... but that is an island-wide problem. I suggest softer mattresses, but the other guest liked the firm mattress.

Cute Little Place!

This Vrbo was great for our little family! The inside was super clean and decorated cute. The beds were super comfortable. Had all kinds of amenities for us. And John, the host, was super accommodating and friendly. We come back to Galveston every year and we would definitely stay here again.

The house was spectacular, neighborhood was quiet and not a lot of noise. The one thing I wish was there, would be curtains. The light is brutal. I would definitely stay again.

cute for a short stay

location was a close drive to the beach, moody mansion and the ferry. Apt home was cute, had all the basic essentials. Parking was the only issue, as the downstairs tenants took the parking that was assigned to us ( the upstairs apt)

I was unable to stay

Due to a tornado at home we were unable to take vacation. John was very accommodating to my needs, he kept good communication and offered to do anything he could.
