Pet Friendly: We're pet friendly! Two well-behaved pups allowed. There is a $95 pet fee, paid at time of booking. No pups on the furniture and no pups left alone in the house (unless crated) or in the yard and please dispose of any pet waste.

Please note: We do have a neighbor with a dog, who sometimes barks. They have a fence so the dog is secure but just a heads up about the barking.

Host was very communicative and the place was wonderful! Very clean and had lots of fun amenities with board games, a hot tub, and a list of activities in the area. Would absolutely stay again.

Although we had a short stay, we made sure to enjoy most of the amenities available to us. The hot tub was much appreciated - a nice way to wind down after long days of hiking/traveling. Being able to stargaze from the hot tub was an added plus! The kitchen and grill had most of the supplies you might need. We took advantage of the outdoor dining areas to enjoy the beautiful landscape and wildlife around us. My only gripe was the fact that the utensil drawer lives above the trash can/recycling drawer in the kitchen...made all the utensils smell like trash.Other than that, we loved how close we were to the national park and grocery stores/restaurants/gas stations! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, well equipped and the beds were super comfortable! the proximity to the park made getting in and out at various points in the day very easy. I would highly recommend this for your Joshua Tree stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Juniper House, and it was an incredibly satisfying experience. The house is beautifully decorated and features a perfect layout. The kids loved the small game room with a TV, while the kitchen was equipped with everything needed for making morning coffee—ideal for enjoying the sunrise at the outside table just off the kitchen. We spent evenings in the hot tub, gazing up at the stars, and appreciated the privacy despite the lack of a traditional fence. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotless. The dining room offered a stunning view because the house is up on a small hill. The house cools down quickly with the AC, which was a bonus during our stay.Checkout was hassle-free, with simple instructions (just take out the trash and place the towels in the bathroom) unlike other rentals that have complex requirements and high cleaning fees. The host's communication was outstanding; they responded to my questions within minutes both before and during our stay.I highly recommend this rental and look forward to renting it again!

Perfect Getaway!

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and loved it! We fell in love the moment we stepped inside. We celebrated our 1 year and we have no regrets at all. I’m happy to say we had everything we needed for our stay and it goes without saying, that we appreciate the prompt responses when we had to message the host. One of our favorite things about this house was the bathroom, it was stocked with the essentials and the shower itself was amazing. After a long hot day, we were relieved to stay here. Also! The kitchen was great to cook up some meals. Overall, we’re choosing this spot again in the future!

Loved place

Loved that place has real lively desert all around - we saw coyotes, jack rabbits, quail, lizards as well as plethora of beautiful desert plants and stars!Whoever designed the house has a beautiful aesthetic sense!

My First Vrbo experience.

I can only hope that all my other Vrbo experiences are even close to this one. With the exception of difficulties find the drive up, especially in the dark, that doesn’t matter; it was so worth. Being new, Jenn was patient, understanding a kind and an attentive Host. The house spotless, beds comfy, the neighbors quiet and the sky amazing. We would make this our LA getaway on a regular basis. So maybe I shouldn’t post how lovely our stay was. Except Jenn deserves the accolades :)

Delightful property minutes from the national park

The property is absolutely lovely. It’s in a very quiet and tranquil area with gorgeous views. Sunsets from the hot tub are heaven. Used as a base for exploring Joshua Tree National park which was such a dream. It’s just a few minutes outside the park. The house is super well set up. Everything you need is there, clean, easy to find and super well maintained. I will absolutely be back!

Very nice place to stay

We had an amazing stay at this property near Joshua Tree National Park! The location was perfect—close enough to the park for easy access, yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that was ideal for stargazing. The night skies were breathtaking, with countless stars visible. The house was also conveniently located near a supermarket, which made picking up supplies a breeze. Check-in was seamless, and the host was incredibly responsive and quick to reply to messages. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Another Great Trip to JT at Juniper House

This is the second time we have stayed on this property. Awesome location, both in terms of beauty around the property as well as proximity to the park. Quiet, very clean, has everything you need. We were able to make multiple meals in the kitchen, bedrooms are comfortable, multiple places to sit inside and outside and relax. Highly recommend this property...we will definitely be back soon! Juniper House - Joshua Tree Gem

My partner and I only stayed two nights on our California vacation but both agreed we could have spend the whole week there. It was clean, peaceful, and the views are unbelievable.

Great Stay in Joshua Tree

We really had a wonderful time here. House was very clean and the property was beautiful. Cooked several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoyed many hours sitting and enjoying the views as well as the hot tub. Located in good proximity to the park, distillery and Pioneertown. Easy to get around to see various things in JT area. We look forward to staying here again!

Beautiful property

We had an amazing stay. The property was beautiful just as pictured, very clean and well stocked, perfect location, close to stores and Joshua Tree National Park. The spacing and amenities were perfect and made for a very enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again. One recommendation would be to please have tea in the kitchen. Thank you! :)

Second Great Stay

This was our second stay at the Juniper House. Same amazing views, features and amenities, with such a great vibe for the desert, and only minutes from the park entrance. Sunsets here are inspiring, as well as star gazing. We hope to stay here again!

I grew up in New York and now live in Joshua Tree! Our family traveled the country for a year in our camper before falling in love with desert life and deciding to make JT our home.

We hosted at our home in Kingston NY while we traveled and I discovered my love of hosting.

I'm excited to host guests in the desert and to share my love of this area with others. I host guests at my own property and I also help other hosts with their properties. I especially enjoy connecting visitors with local businesses and experiences that will make their stay special while supporting the local community.

I’m also an herbalist and make herbal tinctures, plant medicine and soap in my desert studio.
