This bungalow is in a great location, close to the shops, restaurants and bars on South Congress street (and those who don't mind walking a mile or two can easily walk to downtown, the Capitol building and to view the bats at the South Congress Street bridge). The private backyard is a nice place for morning coffee or to hang out in the evening with friends over beers or a glass of wine, and the unit had everything needed for a comfortable stay. HOWEVER, the mini split air conditioning system was not working properly, and the house was very warm in the late afternoons and evenings...if it weren't for the ceiling fans, it would have been unbearably hot. The master bedroom does have a window unit that works very well, however. The owner did call out a tech to come see if the system needed refrigerant, but it didn't seem to fix the problem (we actually have no idea what the "problem" was, as the owner never told us what the tech said after the visit).This is a cute and very convenient place to stay in cooler weather, or if you don't mind a warm house (I'd guess it was about 80 degrees inside in the late afternoon and evening). If the temps will be over 90 degrees and you'd like a cool place after walking around in the heat all day, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
