Beautiful home!

Perfect home for a long weekend or vacation in Connecticut. Great for kids and families and the host was very accommodating. The sun room and pellet stove were a great addition. We had a blast!

Westport stay for Yale Baseball season

We had a wonderful experience staying at Betsy's home in Westport. We stayed for several weeks while our son play his final baseball season for Yale, just a short drive to New Haven. Betsy's home had all of the comforts of our own home, plenty of amenities, and very, very clean. My husband was able to work comfortably daily, as did our daughter, who trained in from NYC to stay overnight a few times. Betsy was very responsive to all our inquiries, from using the local tennis courts to having packages delivered. We joined the local Y for our workouts & enjoyed many walks & runs around the neighborhoods. The village is minutes away - either on foot or car, with shopping & restaurants. Just a fabulous stay. Thank you Betsy!

Fantastic Home!

What a great home for our mid-winter Girls Weekend! We gathered from across the Eastern Seaboard for a weekend of chatting, eating and movie watching in celebration of my sister-in-law's pregnancy. We were looking for a home that was very comfortable, close to the metro-north train line and not in the hustle of the city but close to good restaurants and grocery stores. This home was absolutely perfect! We ate leisurely meals around the dining room table within view and warmth of the wood pellet stove. We hung out for hours in the living room by the fireplace - the sofa and chairs are super comfy. The home is very close (less than two miles) from both a Trader Joes and Fresh Market. This made eating super easy. We also enjoyed a delightful dinner at Le Farm and a wonderful brunch at Terrain. The owners, Betsy & Dave, were incredibly helpful with everything from directions to restaurant recommendations. They even stopped by when we couldn't figure out the wood stove. THANK YOU!!!

Charming older home

This lovely home on a large lot in a quiet development charms with its comfortable and relaxing ambience. Although finishes and decor are somewhat dated, the home was clean and very inviting. We were treated to visits by deer and a red fox most mornings as we had coffee on the enclosed porch overlooking the back yard. A great place to stay for our pups too!

lovely weekend

Dave was a wonderful host and the house is so comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed seeing a couple of deer a few times while lounging in the hot tub. The back yard view is amazing with a gorgeous copper beech tree in back and another in front. Hope we can return soon.

Little slice of heaven

From beginning to end one of the nicest property owners and homes we have ever rented. We literally felt like houseguests of a long time friend’s home. Everything you could possibly want was provided and the back yard...spectacular!!! We hosted a college graduation party for a few families and the house was absolutely perfectly set up to entertain. When our son get into Yale Law, WE WILL BE BACK! 😉

Very nice home. Great owners that were very helpful.

Everything was as described. The owners were great and communicative throughout. House is on a wonderful little street with very little traffic. The location is very close to the main shopping district of Westport. Could definitely walk but its just a few minute drive as well. Backyard is very pretty with a nice enclosed sunroom that you can sit out and watch wildlife. We saw many deer, squirrel, a red fox etc. all meandering through within 20 feet us.

Peaceful family home in a great neighborhood and super hosts!

We had a fantastic week at Betsy’s. It really was home from home. She gave us a very warm welcome and really went the extra mile by leaving out very clear instructions on facilities and things to do in the local area. Her home is so cosy and was very comfortable. Plenty of towels and bedding and extra heaters if we needed them (which we didn’t as the central heating was ample). There is also a large playing area in the basement. I would definitely recommend a visit and stay in her house and we do hope to be able to return one day. We stayed in October and we had deer visiting our backyard every single day. Thank you Betsy and Dave (+Tom)!

Great House, great location, great hosts!

Betsy was extremely easy to communicate with and super helpful and accommodating. We had a baby with us and she set up the Pack and Play and High chair. The house was comfortable and as described. The yard and deck were awesome. No surprises. We highy recommend!!

peaceful home.

Thanks to Betsy who was very helpful through our stay. The home has a wonderful atmosphere. It feels like home. The area is very peaceful and it is nice to be able to see all kind of animals, including a fox, while drinking coffee in the patio. We really enjoyed Betsy and Dave place. We look forward to come back.
