Feel at home in our comfortable and cozy one-bedroom suite with spacious living room and full kitchen located on a private dead-end street. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee and relax in your outside private patio with grill and pool during summer months. Located 3 min. to the Cranford train station, 13 min. to Newark Airport, 15 mins. to Downtown Newark (NJPAC, Prudential, Penn Station), and quick rail access to NYC and just 45 min. to the Jersey Shore. On-site host to meet your every need. Pool and yard are shared with owner. Small dog on property.

Warm and cozy

Our stay was very nice. We were able to enter the property through a private entrance. Although we were in a lower level, there was not a lot of noice above us. I would recommend this property.

Nice location, great host

I’m a NJ native visiting from my current home in So California. This rental is in a quiet neighborhood but has very easy access to the Garden State Parkway and Route 22 (both will take you to the NJ Turnpike. Great food and beautiful parks nearby. Our host was available and took our comfort seriously. Great trip!

Very clean propeety

The owner was very accommodating. Great neighborhood. Close to where I was visiting with my mother. The only thing was I thought the listing said it had a washer and dryer but there wasn’t one. Other than that great experience.

Amazing stay

Honestly, one of the best places I've stayed while away from home. For a moment, i even forgot i was away from my own house. The place is very cozy with everything you would need. It was clean spacious and separated enough you dont feel bothered in the least. Communication and instructions were easy and clear and host is very friendly and reasonable. The area is actually very nice and quiet but a 3/4 minute drive puts you in an area that has it all. I honestly think it has spoiled other places for me. Lol

Felt right at home while traveling for work!

I travel to New Jersey for work regularly for multiple weeks at a time and have always stayed in hotels, which made these trips feel even longer and depressing being away from home for so long. Carmen’s home completely changed my outlook of these work trips by having all the amenities to keep up my routines and semblance of normalcy. He has everything amply stocked with all you could ever need to cook, entertain, relax, and work productively! It was just me but there’s plenty of space for a couple traveling together or friends if someone wants to take the couch. Carmen is so kind and very attentive if any questions or issues come up. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay in the area!

Great Place

I was in town for work February 2024 and stayed at the this Basement apartment Home away from home. Great communication with the owner. Place is as pictured. Very comfortable, quiet location. On weekends I didn’t want to get out of bed it is so comfy. And the shower, great presser and hot water! I do plan on staying here again if I’m in the area, you should too.

Wonderful weekend!

Needed a little relaxing weekend away and this was the perfect place! The property owner was extremely helpful with any questions and made it feel like home! There are tons of stores and restaurants near by.
