Om boendet

The View

Enjoy this peaceful setting with amazing view as an alternative to a hotel in Batesville. The location is close enough to visit the college, restaurants, shopping and golf, but private enough to feel like you’re getting away to relax.
The space
Two bedrooms have queen beds. The loft space has two twin beds. (The loft does not have air conditioning vents so the circulation is limited and it gets very warm in the summer months. Fans are provided, but I would not plan to use the loft as a place to sleep in June or July). The master room has a bathroom attached, and another bathroom is located in the hallway. The kitchen is fully equipped to create your favorite meal, and the washer and dryer are conveniently centrally located. The back deck is a wonderful place to relax after a long day and enjoy the view of the river.

Please note that this home is a part of a duplex. It has its own part of the driveway and its own private entrance. The insulation is stellar so you do not hear any guests who may be staying on the other side of the duplex.

Comfortable Rental

We only stayed one night. We came to Batesville for the White River Wonderland, which we enjoyed very much. Definitely could not have asked for a better view! The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were all clean. The only complaints I have was the floors should have had a once over just before our arrival. Also, fireplace was badly in need of a cleaning out.

The View

The house was comfortable. However there were several issues that really need addressed to be a property worth the value you are spending. The interior is rough. Paint chipping, lights that don’t work, old food in pantry and cabinets, some kind of bugs coming into the house from the deck area. We killed several. The shower had no pressure. The exterior is worse. Deck railing broken or rotting. Old plants in the courtyard. Deck needs a lot of work - old furniture on the deck. Beds were comfortable
