Thank you for sharing the Overlook Cabin. The deck and views were wonderful. The location worked well for the 5 of us...hiking many Redwoods trails, dinner in Crescent City, and stops in Orick.

Such a unique location, and you will not find a better view than this house. Helped ourselves to the natural growing blackberries and apples around the house to complement the salmon we caught on the river.Would definitely stay here again, if returning to the area

The cabin was in excellent condition, clean and well built. The property was private and absolutely gorgeous. The view is spectacular and literally made me cry. I am extremely pleased with our stay.

Beautiful view, lovely flowers and many birds. Great deck to relax on. Very comfortable beds and the house was clean. Good location for visiting various Redwoods and state parks. Hosts are responsive to questions. Would stay again.

The view from the property is EXCELLENT. We also drove the Klamath overlook road and saw the house from the other side of the bay. It would be helpful if the house had a hairdryer, kitchen towels, and replacement trash bags available to guests. The beds were comfortable and bath towels are very nice.

Redwood Trip

We enjoyed our stay at the house! Plenty of amenities, and relaxation. We drove to Redwood trails and then enjoyed the beach a few miles north of the house! Great place!

Amazing View with Rustic Charm

The hosts were amazing and the location was just what we were looking for. Quiet with access to the Redwood Forest activities just a short drive away. Hope to visit again soon!

Beautiful views from the porch and it was a perfect size for our family of 4. It's location, in the middle of the Redwoods National and State Parks was perfect for exploring the area. We enjoyed the propane fire table on the porch during the cool evenings and the kids enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage.

For anyone looking to stay in Northwestern, CA this house is truly a hidden gem. We stayed for a few nights as we visited the Redwoods Parks and I would consider going back just to stay here and take in the view. Very pleased with out experience.

Family Gathering

This property was perfect for our family gathering. There was plenty of room for us all, an amazing view and it had all the amenities we needed. From s’mores, to ping pong play to stargazing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The house itself reminded me of a cabin in the mountains (we are from Tennessee, so I mean the Smoky Mountains) and words can't really describe that view - it is amazing. Don't let the drive up to the house intimidate you, it is a little rough. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location

The home is gorgeous! That view is amazing and it was so cool being able to wake up to it everyday during our stay. Only sad thing was that our kids had the rooms with the best views. Was a great location, close to Redwoods National Park. Thank you so much! We had a blast.

The property was absolutely lovely, very private, the view was fantastic. The property was clean, the kitchen was lovely and very well appointed. Beds were comfortable linens and towels were very nice quality. The whole property was fresh and clean and very welcoming.The beautiful gas fire fixture on the back deck and the comfortable deck furniture was an unexpected joy. Add that to the amazing view of the river and the ocean and it made it a very relaxing and enjoyable getaway for all of us.

Pros: beautiful view, comfortable beds, good showers, adequate kitchen, good wifi, fun ping pong table (it was raining while we were there, so needed inside activities).Cons: A little tricky finding it as our gps had no service after our last hiking trip. I was able to get service standing on the deck to access the code to get in. Also, the inside has rustic decor which was fine, but also had a lot of cobwebs and could’ve used a good cleaning. For the price we paid, we just expected a little more.
