Adirondack Getaway precis vid Lake Hadlock med Lake George bara 12 miles away!

Lake Hadlock, även känd som Hadlock Pond, är cirka 2. 4 miles lång och 0,75 miles bred. Det handlar om 47-56 meter djup och har 220 hektar yta.

Sjön möjliggör segling, vattenskidåkning, fiske, kajak, kanot, roliga och säkra sjön aktiviteter. Det ger ren, varm badvatten som känns bara bra!

Lake Hadlock är bara 12 miles (ca 20 min med trafik) borta från Lake George och Lake George Village.

Vår Lake Hadlock är en trevlig privat och lugn miljö direkt på lakefront egendom, vackert belägen i Adirondacks rätt i Adirondack Park.

Lake House är ägare och är vårt framtida pensionat. Vi hyr ut för att dela de underbara upplevelserna som erbjuds av Adirondacks. Vi ber att du vänligt respekterar vårt hem och området.

Vi har ombyggt vårt sovrum på övervåningen med ny handfat, granit wraparound hylla och lokal tallskogsvägg 2019.

best lake house gateway

This property was great, your right on the water, you have two decks a upper deck and lower deck that's right on the water. The house is big and you can feel like your at home, almost makes you not want to leave, 100% will recommend this home to rent and especially dealing with the owner, nice, easy to talk to and straight forward with everything.

Everything we could ask for

Just back from our stay at this beautiful lake house. It is the ideal place for a relaxing vacation; spacious and comfortable, inside and out. Kayaks are in very good condition and we made great use of them! Enjoyed several evenings on the deck and around the firepit. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were very well appointed. So glad we found this place!

Perfect Spot to Relax and Chill on the Lake

This house was beautiful. Loved the views and quietness of the lake, only 20 mins from Lake George. Rooms were spacious and kitchen had everything you need. Description is accurate. Owner was very easy to communicate with and was very timely to answer questions. Check in/out and all other instructions for our stay were very clear. Would definitely go back!

Beautiful location

We loved this house on Lake Hadlock! It was tucked away a short distance into the woods where we got to see deer up close and beautiful fall leaves. The house itself was so clean and stocked with everything you need. We also liked the decor of the house as well :). And then of course the lake! The docks were huge and I could see it being the perfect spot to hang out in the summer. They also had an area where you could walk/in shallow water which would be perfect for kids. We went at a chilly time of year so we got to enjoy the stillness of the lake with quiet mornings and evenings taking in the scenery. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your vacation home. We will hopefully return again!

Beautiful lake view

The Lakeview is beautiful. The deck and fire pit. We’re very much enjoyed. House what’s comfortable for six of us. We enjoyed our stay.

The house is kept extremely well, and always shows signs of getting better still. The lake and mountains can't be surpassed, but the house keeps good company with them!

A Wonderful Place

Hadlock is an ideal spot for the quiet of the woods and all the benefits of the water. It's near to Lake George and other Adirondack sites without any of the crowds. The house in particular is extremely comfortable and seems to get better every year.

Fun and Relaxing

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this house! Directly on the lake. Plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. We fished, swam, and kayaked every day. No A/C vents in upstairs rooms, so can be warm during the summer. Our kids stayed in the warmer rooms and didn’t mind so much. Our family would definitely rent this house again. Thanks, Eric!

Great Getaway

This was our first visit to New York and this area was our second stop. This house did not disappoint! The lake is gorgeous and clean. A hidden gem! I absoultly loved having coffee on the dock and getting in the kayak in the evenings with my kids. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Perfect from start to finish!

Our stay, 6/20- 6/25/2021 scored a 10 out of 10! The house, property and location are ideal for a family get away. The owner is a pleasure to work with and the house/ amenities are in beautiful condition and are accurately described. The only hard part about the trip was leaving! This one is a winner! Wonderful stay

Overall a wonderful clean beautiful place. Well maintained. I do think it should be mentioned more obviously one of the full bathrooms cannot be accessed from the main living space. It also bothered us that there are skylights over the matter bedroom that can't be shaded.

Peaceful and Relaxing

This was such a peaceful and relaxing vacation to get away from all the craziness in the world. The house was as described and enough room for the family to spread out. Cell service is spotty but the wifi worked great. Our family enjoyed relaxing on the deck, swimming and kayaking. We hiked and drove to Lake George area for dinner. It was a nice quiet lake without all the tourists from other areas. Thanks for sharing your home and hope to be back in the future.

Perfect Relaxing Week!

When we rented this house we knew we would want something serene, calming, tranquil, and that's exactly what we got. The house is so charming; when you walk through the front door you immediately see the lake and it's perfection. Great outdoor space, the lake is also great for kayaking and swimming, and it's pretty quiet, even on a holiday weekend! The property is remote (which is exactly what we were looking for) but close enough to all the Lake George are activities (about a 25-30 min ride each time). We were so comfortable, it was hard to leave at the end, but hope to be back for future getaways!

A wonderful place!

This house has the benefit of being in the heart of the Lake George area without the drawbacks of the crowds. It is a matter of mere minutes away from both Lake George's trail system and its water activities. The High Peaks, Vermont and abundant historical sites are also within easy distances. The house itself is fully equipped with conveniences, is spacious and gives the sense of seclusion without being isolated. The neighbors on either side are very friendly. In short, a great spot both "to get away from it all" and to get back into it if you want.

Great Get Away

We had a wonderful get away with friends at this beautiful property. The lake is beautiful and clean, calm and serene. The view from the house is incredible but the time spent on the deck will be forever memorable. We enjoyed being outside at all times of the day- our group relaxed, laughed, ate, fished, listened to music and exercised outside. The kayaks were awesome. We enjoyed exploring Bolton Landing, boating on Lake George, attempting to climb Prospect mountain and visiting Saratoga on our visit. The house suited our group of 6 well. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Definitely one of the best

This property truly stood out as one of the best places we've stayed at! The house is spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with almost everything you'd need. It's right by a beautiful, clean lake. The large deck, fire pit, grill, kayaks, and floating deck were so much fun that no one wanted to leave property, making it the first vacation where we spent the entire time on-site instead of exploring the area. The owner was responsive over text, and overall, it was a fantastic vacation, we definitely will be coming back. Just a heads up: make sure to note the "BYO beddings" requirement. We missed that detail and ended up having to make a quick trip to the nearby Target for bed sheets.

My family is near our Lake House area. Our neighbors are great people and all love and respect the lake and surrounding areas.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The views are just spectacular! You'll even seen a sea plane take off land and on the water from time to time. There are so many activities very close by and in Lake George. The water is clean and warm with a rocky/sandy bottom on our waterfront property.

We're quite close to Lake George, only 12 miles to Lake George Village. You can hear the Lake George fireworks every Thursday evening from our Lake House.
