Denna woodsy lägenhet har välvda tak, ett uppgraderat, öppet kök med bänkskivor i granit, ombyggda badrum, en vedeldad spis, platt-TV, rymlig balkong, matplats för sex och en bar. Lägenheten har också nyligen uppgraderats med ny matta i hela övervåningen vardagsrum och matplatser och vackra skräddarsydda plattor arbeta runt spisen. Det stora sovrummet har en dubbelsäng, det andra sovrummet har två tvillingar, och övervåningen är en drottning bäddsoffa. Fantastisk utsikt över den omgivande skogen och på gångavstånd till Canyon Lodge. Alla Mammoth Sierra-gäster får gratis full tillgång till Snowcreek Athletic Club för att njuta av faciliteter inklusive uppvärmd inomhuspool, ånga / bastu, full fitnessanläggning, yoga, pilates och cykelstudio med mera. Location and Value!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family's stay at Mammoth West was a dream. The location was unbeatable, one of the closest buildings to Canyon Lodge. And the value we got for our stay was such a great deal. Highly recommend if you need a place to stay to ski/snowboard on a budget. Will be back!

Great Location, Great time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the condo can use a little updating, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the pictures are very accurate. Very easy to get to Canyon Lodge and take the gondola down to the village. Also, the Family Trivial Pursuit was a hit!

Good location, real basic 2 star accomodations

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great, near Canyon Lodge, but condo is 1980s with no updates and minimal maintenance. Kitchen and baths with absolute minimum equipment, not even paper towels or blow dryer.

Great Location

The location is a 10-minute walk to Canyon Lodge - This is where you can rent gear, take ski lessons, and take the Village Condala to other parts of the town. The Austrian Hoff Restuarant and bar is a 5-minute walk away and was our evening goto for after-ski drinks and dinner for every night of our stay The house was clean and will easily fit 6 adults: 2 bedrooms and a pull-out sofa bed. The apartment can be a little tricky to find, I recommend using a door-to-door transport service when arriving for the first time (Unless you are driving yourself using google maps) All in all, we had a great stay and will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip Pro-Tip: The apartment is on a slight hill when walking down to Canyon Lodge from the front door - consider walking up the hill to the small car park - you will find steps leading down to the main road - this is a faster and easier walk then taking the main road directly down.

Awesome, convenient place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed this property. The space is cozy and convenient, with a pretty large living room and spacious bedrooms. It is located about a 10 minute walk from Canyon Lodge with ski boots, and much quicker without, so pretty close. The jacuzzi is open late and is almost next door! The only complaint I would have is that the parking situation is a bit sub-optimal. You have to park on Canyon Blvd which is pretty far to haul your stuff, and dropping off on the hill is difficult when the road is icy. Other than that, it was a wonderful place and we look forward to going back!

Early season ski trip

The property was walking distance to the Canyons lodge for near ski in/out service. Everything was wonderful! Every appliance for preping meals, plenty of heat, even electric blankets and comfortable beds. Lots of stairs which were not a problem for our group, but a consideration to take into. Our stay was fantastic and I would definitely recommend the unit for a family/ friends trip to others. *I ended up dropping kids at front of Canyons lodge with ski equipment and driving back to unit to park then going to get car to pick up at end of the day. It's that close. You could definitely walk, but I choose this option instead of carrying 4 sets of skis, poles, boots, etc. Overall, very convenient, efficient and comfortable unit. I highly recommend to others.

Shabby, not well stocked

Fairly close to Canyon lodge and very near A nice restaurant/bar, so convenient but that is all that this place has going for it. The flooring is more than squeaky, creaking and cracking in the floor and walls woke us up often. Different sources/types of heating in every room were inconsistent and loud. My husband pointed out that the bathroom counter built above the tank was made too deep so that you can’t lift the toilet lid to vertical. The kitchen has a mish mash of old scratched and burned pots and pans. The pillows were all stained yellow and old. No bedding was provided for the fold out couch and every heated blanket did not warm. No parking is available in front of the condo. Parking was down a hill and first come first serve, meaning you’d better not leave your space or you might not have parking at all. I have had nicer accommodations at a Motel 6. Not worth the $ spent at all. Disappointed to say the least.

Extra sheets and pillows were dirty called a replaced quickly. No spices or pam, etc. so if you plan on cooking bring everything you need except for the pans and silverware. Walking distance to slopes even with sick 8yo. Upstairs sofa bed really uncomfortable.

Cozy escape in the woods

Location was perfect for us at it was out of the town and up near the village and canyon lodge. Unit provided great WiFi connection. My children enjoyed the pool very much. Location was very convenient for us because we were close enough to walk down to the village for dinner and rent mountain bikes.We had a great stay this summer. The only negative experience was our first impression... We were greeted by a horrendous smell upon opening the front door for the first time. It appears the previous renters cleaned some fish in the sink and left fish parts in the garbage disposal without running it before leaving. The unit had to be aired out for several hours before it was inhabitable

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a nice stay in this unit. The unit was very clean and sufficiently stocked. It was great to be able to walk to the lifts at Canyon Lodge. Some minor notes to be aware of about this unit (1) the twin room has a thermostat on the wall so you can keep the temperature consistent in the room with no effort. The small heater in the room with the queen bed has an internal thermostat so the other side of the room was cold (2) There is a floor heater in the dining area but it did not work. We relied on the heater in the living room which you need to turn on or off. (3) You can load and unload your car in front of the unit but all of the two-bedroom unit parking spaces are at the bottom of the hill.
