Denna 4 sovrum, 3 badrum lägenhet sover 10 och ligger bara 7-10 minuters promenad till hissarna på Canyon Lodge. Nya mattor och golv installerade vintern 2017! Dessa lägenheter har välvda tak, en stor öppen planlösning i vardagsrummet, vedspis, matplats med plats för 12 med ytterligare 2 i köksbaren och storbilds-TV med DVD-spelare! Denna enhet har ett komplett kök med alla apparater.

Övervåningen sovrummet har en queen size-säng med ett komplett badrum precis nerför korridoren. Det andra sovrummet på nedervåningen har en queen size-säng med privat badrum och TV. Det tredje sovrummet har en dubbelsäng och TV. Det fjärde sovrummet har en våningssäng i euro-stil med tvåbäddsrum på toppen och dubbla i botten, och även en tvillingvalsning (roll-a-way som passar bäst för ett barn). Det finns också ett tredje badrum som ligger nere och en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet för extra gäster. Alla Mammoth Sierra-gäster får gratis full tillgång till Snowcreek Athletic Club för att njuta av faciliteter inklusive uppvärmd inomhuspool, ånga / bastu, full fitnessanläggning, yoga, pilates och cykelstudio med mera.

Family Mammoth get together

The location was very nice being close to Canyon Lodge. Important to us, there was plenty of room for us all to enjoy quiet time, and together time. The unit was a little dated feeling, in need of some renovation, but we still enjoyed it very much. The stairs are numerous and steep for carrying luggage and skis, and had snow on them the night we arrived, but we were capable, and the property manager was quick to respond to my call and had the stairs cleared the next morning. The company manager was also quick to respond to an email.Overall, some minor improvements would make it even nicer, but we really enjoyed our time there.

Great location, run down

Heat was off and the condo was at 46 degrees indoors and falling for 6 hrs. I emailed a few times plus called and didn’t get an answer. That said, when I finally got in touch with someone, they came and fixed it quickly. Alas, we were freezing for the first evening.

Perfect Location

It was the perfect size for our family of 6. The kitchen had what we needed to prep meals. We ended up getting snowed in and the property management couldn’t have been more helpful in accommodating us for one more night. Perfect condo from the time we walked in until we left!!

Overall a great spot for a family trip

My wife and I, our 2 young kids, my parents and 4 other friends recently stayed here which overall worked out very well for our group and we had more than enough space. Pros: The location is amazing, walking to Canyon in the morning is easy and skiing almost all the way back is great. The parking was in front of the unit and not a hassle at all. The hot tub area is great, it is covered, always warms, and bathrooms with showers are there as well. We were able to use the lounge prior to check-in, which was great as my parents were entertaining our youngest while the rest of the group skied. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, plates, cups, glasses, utensils, etc. though dated and could use some more cooking utensils. The wood burning stove is easy to get going and really cranks up the heat in the unit. Cons: There are a lot of stairs and some days we had to shovel the entrance steps which is a lot and I think not great considering the cost. The blinds in all rooms are pretty insufficient since there are bright streetlights all around. They really need blackout shades. The room with bunk beds does not have a solid door, they are slatted so it's pretty much the worst door you could have for a room meant for kids. I think there is a bus stop out front which was noisy later at night. The athletic club is a drive, not a walk. Same for check-in office. The loft in the photos is inaccessible. Should be stated in the listing.

Love the location!

Too many stairs!!!

But it was dusty, the banister leading upstairs was very dusty and dirty. Chairs and carpeting were very dirty. Cooking pans were old and dirty. Lacking in cooking utensils, no spatula. Front door lock was not very secure, looks like it can be easily opened with a credit card. TV’s in each room was good, but no remote control. Living room TV had 5 controls that were not labeled, had to try and figure it out. Could not log into streaming service using my login ☹️☹️

Mammoth West # 116 not recommended !

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Disappointed. Everything was old and drab.If you have trouble climbing stairs ( we didn't) , know that it is 51 steps from the parking area up to the 2nd floor (kitchen area) .A huge CAT piece of equipment was out front with 2 large trash bins, made parking tight. One of the beds had spring issues. Downstairs toilet kept running unless you "giggle" the handle. "spectacular family unit " used in the unit description is a stretch considering how outdated everything is; the furnishings , blinds, bathroom fixtures . The only modern thing was the refrig. Entire unit in need of a paint job. Prob ok for a grp of younger guys but NOT for a nice family vac. Pool area is good.

Spacious old place close to Canyon Lodge

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the condo to be very spacious with its two levels and three bathrooms, it easily accommodated our 7 people (including children). The décor is dated and it could use some maintenance (eg. broken tiles in entrance way) but we didn't mind this too much given the reasonable price compared to other rentals in the area. The location is reasonably convenient although quite a big walk to Canyon in ski boots (10 mins) carrying gear if you are not super-fit,. We loved the Jacuzzi in the building next door and also the fireplace, although disappointing that we had to call twice for the promised firewood to be delivered two days after we moved in. Kitchen was not well equipt. Simple things like wine knife missing. Drying rack for clothing would also have been great even though washing machine and dryer provided. Place was surface cleaned only upon arrival (eg dirty under beds etc). Average place for average cost really so I wouldn't complain or rave about it.

Worst stay experience ever!

Tiles from the floor piled up in a corner, Cockroaches in the bottom bedroom, and NO HOT WATER on the second night! We should've complained the moment we go there, but we didn't until we hot no hot water. This place is a disaster and need some serious maintenance! We stay at mammoth west every year and not sure will be back.

Acceptable with serious upgrade needs

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a group of 2 families with 4 kids total plus an additional 2 adults. Having read previous reviews I can certainly confirm the serious need to upgrade this place. We had a good time and cannot really complain about anything. One of the best things was that the jacuzzi was right next door. When we ran out of firewood the on site manager was prompt to respond to our need even though it was the owners responsibility (we weren't able to get in touch with the owners, just voice mail). Be mindful with children and have them stay away from any electrical outlets as some of the wiring didn't appear to be safe (some of the outlets didn't even work). Overall appearance of the place is rundown (stains on carpets and furniture, old kitchen, one of the bunk beds very flimsy, etc.) and not well maintained, but hey, it's sort of good value and close to Canyon Lodge. Also, there's no BBQ and only 2 assigned parking spots (policy). This is your below average value rental.

Great unit for hosting group dinners for 12+ guests

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a street front unit that we rented in July 2017 for several days and again in July 2018. We use it as a base for day hiking in the area. In addition to Unit 116 we also rented 2 other units within the same complex to accommodate a hiking group of 13 adults. We selected Unit 116 as one of the three primarily for its large dining space which has seating for 12 or more persons. Having adequate space to seat everyone for group dinners makes Unit 116 a good gathering location. It is an older unit, clean but somewhat dark, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are basic. The deck is small and not usable space. The sliding door to the deck helps provide a through breeze but is difficult to open and threatens to come off its runners if opened more than 6 inches. The kitchen is well stocked with oven proof dishes, pots, pans and adequate glasses, cutlery and crockery to accommodate cooking and serving meals for 12+ people. The one item the kitchen is lacking is a decent quality, sharp, straight-edged knife for use in food preparation.The unit is on two levels with a significant number of steps from the street up to the front door. Once inside there’s another set of stairs to reach the main living space and kitchen.In summary, it’s a clean, no frills, 4 bedroom unit, well suited as a central gathering location for hosting seated meals for 12 or so adults.
