The beautiful mountain view will help you relax and feel like you are getting away from it all. After a long day of hiking, take a relaxing soak in the hot tub. 2.7 miles to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. 4.3 mile from exploring the smoky mountains from the roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail. House

The house was great. The road to get to it was not. Narrow, steep and rough. Also the washer and dryer are to big for the area they are in. Very hard to do laundry. I have bruises on my belly from squeezing in to do my laundry. But other than that I slept like a baby every night. I would stay again. Thank you to the owner.

Could have been better

We have stayed in several cabins in Gatlinburg and were excited to try this location in our search for bears. And we did see bears close to the cabin and in other locations on our trip. So that was a great success. Walter was a great host and very responsive but our stay should have been nicer. We found the house was not very clean. Furniture needs to be updated as it showed lots of wear and tear in the living room. The spaces in the house were very small. The washer / dryer room was ridiculously small... no human could actually fit in that room. The upstairs spare room had a hole in the ceiling. The outdoor jacuzzi was not clean and when we tried the indoor jacuzzi in the downstairs bathroom, dirt literally flew out of the nozzles as if it hadn't been used or cleaned in months. Despite how great Walter was, this was not a great experience for us. I hate leaving negative reviews but I also don't want others to have a negative experience. This was not a 5-star or even 4-star experience.

Exactly as described. Had small problem with access code but Walter addressed it immediately. Has everything you'd need & very clean. Really enjoyed our stay

Mountain Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at this little cabin tucked in the mountains outside Gatlinburg! It was just right outside town and GSMNP was close by!

GSNP Getaway

Loved the quite location just outside of town away the hustle and bustle with easy access to the park. Property owner was very accommodating.

Cottage getaway

This cottage has great view on the back deck and a lot of wildlife. We saw 3 different bears while there.

Great Experience!

We were very pleased with the cabin. It was just as listed on VRBO with the amenities and locations. It had all the kitchen utensils and appliances needed for our family. They even had a pet kennel, leash and bowels. The owner was great through the entire process of booking through check out. We would book again but next time will bring a 4wd vehicle as the road leading up to the house was very steep in places and not very wide. But to be honest, pretty much all the roads in the area are just like that. Great experience overall!
