NEW, coming 2026 a 3rd private bedroom is being built to this home, including a twin over full sized bunk bed. Perfect for a kids room! Photos will be updated when construction is complete. This stylish Lake Huron beach cottage currently sleeps 8 and overlooks Mackinac Island. Offering a new deck facing water, 125 feet of soft sandy beach frontage. There is a beach fire pit for those chilly evenings, large private yard, gas grill on back patio, outdoor seating, picnic table on beach and a table/chairs on the top deck. Inside there are 2 bedrooms, with 3 separated sleeping spaces, so you can have two families join and everyone has their own space. In these rooms you will find 3 queen size beds, & a full size bed, several large windows, ceiling fans, modern amenities including Central AC/Heat, new washer/dryer & Dishwasher

Year around ranch style family home directly on Lake Huron overlooking Mackinac Island. The master bedroom with full bathroom requires 4 steps, the rest of the home requires no steps

Entire home access

Although I will provide all guests with privacy, I am available by phone or text for any questions or assistance.

Beachfront neighborhood in a rural area perfect for walking with a convenience store / deli and meats called the Pines Trading Post located up the street - (walking distance) Castle Rock is located 1 mile away

Great lakeside neighborhood perfect for walking. The Pines Trading post located 1/2 block away complete with fresh meats and deli sandwiches / pizza, beer, wine, and liquor - convenience store

This waterfront home is located 2.3 miles to the ferries and 2 miles to Kewadin Casino. Both venues provide transportation to and from the cottage.

We do require a "Security/Damage Hold" for all rentals. This is not a charge and is intended for accidental damage that may happen during your stay. Excellent Stay

Property was beautiful and quaint. View of the lake was breathtaking. Very clean and comfortable. Will recommend this place for a mini vacation. Very near the docks to go to Mackinaw Island. Dog friendly.

Fantastic stay!

The Huron Hutch was a wonderful place to stay! Gorgeous views of the lake, comfortable inside and out with many thoughtful touches. The hosts were very responsive and kind. I did not want to leave and will definitely try to make a return trip.

A peaceful, beautiful, relaxing vacation.

The beach cottage was a beautiful place to stay. Such amazing views. Plenty of room for everyone. It had almost everything you need, with grocery store nearby. The hosts responded quickly when we had a question. Very courteous. Hope to be back again..

The home had plenty of space for our family of five to all have our own quiet space! The views are wonderful! I loved that they had family card and board games to play as well.

Special Spot!

Our stay at the Huron Hut was fabulous! The house was beautifully decorated and very clean and organized. We cooked dinner each evening and the kitchen had everything we needed. The best part of our trip was being right on Lake Huron! The beach was lovely and watching the crane each day was a highlight. Thank you for a very memorable stay!

Great Location!

Beach Hutch was a great location to get to Mackinac Island and explore the UP. Cute beach but bring your water shoes as it's a bit rocky in the water. Great patio & fire pit. The house had lots of room for 7 of us and was clean. We enjoyed the view each morning drinking our coffee and watching the Sandhill Cranes walk up the beach!

Mackinac Memories!

We thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of this quiet beach house with spectacular views of the sunrise and Mackinac Island on the horizon. It was a delight to watch the sandhill cranes each day move about the beach. The kayaks were an added bonus and we were able to get on the water every day of our stay. The Beach Hutch had comfortable beds for sleeping, cozy living spaces for relaxing along with a furnished kitchen for making meals. The house was only a short distance from downtown St. Ignace and the ferry to Mackinac Island. The Huron Beach Hutch checked all the boxes for a relaxing, enjoyable vacation getaway for our family!

Everything about this property was perfect!

Our family had an incredible stay at the Huron Hutch! It was the perfect place for all six of us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It’s very well kept, fully stocked, and hosts were willing to answer any questions we had. While we wished for warmer weather to fully enjoy the amazing outdoor spaces, we still took advantage of everything the property has to offer. The party store just down the street was a great convenience, and we loved the grill, beachside fire pit, and spacious outdoor area for our dog. The interior had plenty of room, and the large dining table quickly became our gathering spot for meals, games, puzzles, and making unforgettable memories. The back bedroom had 2 beds and was perfect for us with small children! This place is a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to return during the warmer months!
