Cozy Tree Top Cabin

Nestled in the woods near the German town of Helen, GA, just off of the Chattahoochee River sets Cozy Tree Top Cabin. This is a unique 4 bedroom 2 bath cabin that sleeps up to 8 guests. The cabin is split into two distinct levels Upstairs has your master king bedroom and a guest queen bedroom with a shared full bath with double vanity and shower tub combo. Also on the main floor is your fully stocked kitchen with electric range, Fridge/Freezer, dishwasher, and all the utensils you need for preparing a meal after a long day out in town! A cozy living room with a cast iron fireplace that you can seasonally have indoor fires in. Step out the large sliding glass doors to outdoor dining and a porch swing to listen to the quiet still forest early in the morning sipping on a cup of coffee!
The lower level has another two guest queen bedrooms, a kitchenette, and a living room with its own fireplace! Also, step out the large sliding glass doors to another covered porch with a seating area for relaxing in the evenings or mornings!

Cozy Tree Top Cabin is your retreat for enjoying family time, or just getting some Rest and Relaxation time in while visiting the North GA mountains and our quaint little town of Helen, GA!

Fishing package available: Trout fishing in our private Blue Creek Trout pond stocked with Rainbow trout. Fishing Season: Spring March 1-June 15 and Fall October 1 - December 31. Each package includes Access to the trout pond and blue creek area, catch and keep 10 trout max, no catch and release, and bring your own fishing equipment. Add the package at checkout or by calling the office.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We were in Helen for my son’s wedding at Uhuburg castle. The cabin was perfect with lots of sitting areas and separate spaces for folks to visit. Also—spotless! I am a clean freak and it was perfect! Nicely stocked kitchen with Everything we needed to feed several folks full meals as well!

Wonderful

Everything was excellent, except we thought you could access the downstairs from inside. You have to go outside to get downstairs. Also, there was no outside fire pit area.

Forest Get Away

Biggest Norte is this property is a duplex. The 2 units DO NOT connect. It worked for us as the young adults had there own place. A connecting internal staircase would be great especially when it rains. The upstairs balcony is cool but we found it difficult to access and severed no real purpose, could easily be turned into a sleeping area, especially for younger kids. The driveway is extremely step and Google Maps is not able to locate as the road is elevated above the main road.. private dead end road with NO through traffic. Very close to town and the river. We would stay again. No major issues.

Great stay

We had a really great time and the stay was great besides the water pressure was awful throughout the whole cabin. Taking a shower was not very pleasant. There were some things messed up when we arrived but took pictures and addressed it nothing major. Very quiet and yes we did see bears right at the back door so if you are an animal lover like me you will enjoy your stay at Blue Creek Cabins.

Nice cabin BUT

Cabin was great on the surface but as other reviews have stated, there’s no way to get from the upper level to the bottom level without going outside. We were there during a time when it was in the 20’s/30’s during the day and dipping down into the teens at night. The heater on the upper portion could not keep up. Luckily, the management company was able to bring us a space heater and we were comfortable until the propane went out on the upper level and the temp inside dropped to 58 degrees.The bottom level stayed warm but the kitchen is on the upper level so we ended up leaving a day early. The cabin is very nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed but the heating and cooling (in the summer) is going to be an issue bc there’s currently no central heat/air throughout the upper or lower levels. It would be a perfect cabin for multiple families traveling together or a family reunion where everyone wants their separate space but not ideal for a ladies trip where we wanted to be in the same space to spend time together.

Quiet location, Comfy and Clean

Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen had all the pans and dishes we needed. Checking in and out was an easy process. Questions to host were answered right away. The location is a very short drive to the center of Helen where there is so many places to eat and shop. We stayed over Christmas, it was rainy and cold, but the cabin kept us comfy and warm while playing all the games the host provided and some we brought. The top and bottom level were not accessible to each other without having to go outside. That might be a put off for some, but both levels were very comfy.

Great stay

Our stay was great. The cabin is upstairs and downstairs in which you do have to go outside and around the house to get to. It wasn’t a problem for us because it was just adults. However if you have kids, it could be an issue. The cabin was so adorable and clean. The beds were very comfortable.

It is amazing

This house is amazing it Is very fun and it has alot of things to do in family the only bad thing is that both floors are seperated but every thing el se is amazing.

We live in Florida and LOVE the city of Helen and all there is to do up here in the mountains! We love the adventure, hiking, tubing, and ziplining/ ropes course. We LOVE the food options in our area and are super excited to share our space with our guests! We have the wonderful team at Blue Creek Cabins taking care of the cabin for us and they can't wait to host you in our Cozy Tree Top Cabin!

This cabin has a year round mountain/wooded view and is very close to downtown Helen. You will find it super east to navigate to the cabin and close to the summertime adventures at Cool River Tubing as well as only 5 minutes drive into Helen for Oktoberfest and all that our German town has to offer. Our cabin is unique in style and has tons of space for everyone to enjoy!
