Great stay at Napili Point and experience with KBM

We had a great stay at this Napili Point condo. The unit was as advertised, clean with everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the KBM Team was excellent and check-in/ access to the unit great. KBM was very responsive to a few minor issues we encountered. The Napili Point property itself is beautiful and in a great quiet location. Overall highly recommend KBM and this unit. We were a party of 3 adults and this unit worked well for us.

Anniversary trip

Beautiful grounds but condo needs a deep cleaning. Smells musty, wash machine has moldy smell as well. Cabinets are sticky. Pictures are deceiving. Bed is very comfortable! Called property the first day asking to be moved, they refused the request. They did send over dehumidifiers and had a maintenance persons “clean the machine “ by putting a tab in it and placing it on a cycle. Still needs work. Also no broom was there and they brought one over. Spend the extra one yams get a second story condo or a “c” condo.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you found the grounds beautiful and the bed comfortable. However, we're very sorry to learn that the cleanliness and condition of the condo did not meet your expectations. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention and understand how frustrating this experience must have been. While our team did attempt to address the issues promptly by delivering dehumidifiers, cleaning the washer, and providing a broom, we regret that these measures did not fully resolve the situation. Your comments have been shared with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure improvements are made going forward. We value your input and will continue working to provide a more comfortable and welcoming stay for all our guests. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience

Fantastic ocean front property

My husband I just spent an incredible week here. We loved walking right out the door and snorkeling in Honokeana Cove with the turtles in the morning. We saw 8 in one day! We loved eating breakfast and lunch on our patio and watching the waves roll in. The pools are situated beautifully to watch and listen to the ocean. We loved relaxing, swimming and reading poolside. It was like being on the beach without the sand. Then if we wanted to snorkel or swim it was a quick 2-5 minute walk depending on where we were going. Napili Beach was fantastic. Kapalua was incredible for snorkeling and we just walked 15 minutes there and avoided dealing with parking. The location of this place is fantastic. Quiet, beautiful and easy access to everything. I couldn’t have loved it more. There is AC in the bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. A fantastic experience all the way around

Pros: nice water view, I saw a whale while on the phone with customer service.Cons: We were disappointed and left early due to non responsive management. My family stays in a lot of owner-rental units and understand the the character that comes with individual units- have never complained until renting this one. The unit was well worn, stained too-soft mattress, fleas, many owner items left around the unit that were not helpful for guests... a printer in the closet where a suitcase might go, broken shelves in the closet, lampshade etc crammed into the laundry. We got in late the first night and kind of dealt with everything, making coffee the next morning I opened the drawer below the coffee maker expecting to find coffee filters, but instead found a rusty can of bed bug/flea bomb spray and a bunch of tangled string. I had to scrub the coffee maker before using. The dishwasher rack was rusted through. I'm glad I had my tetanus shot.I complained to Vrbo who kept me on the phone half the morning and then to the management company KBM directly - they each pointed fingers at the other saying there was nothing they could do.KBM made false promises re bringing new bedding, removing owner items but it felt like they wanted me to manage the process while on my family trip. They were quick about changing out the dw rack. I changed the bedding and then had no place to put the old. They said they'd ask people to come by and remove owner items but never said when. Life's too short

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, Lauren. We’re glad you enjoyed the water view and even got to spot a whale during your stay, but we’re genuinely sorry that the condition of the unit and your experience with communication left you disappointed enough to leave early. We do want to clarify that our team did take action on the concerns that were brought to our attention. The dishwasher rack was replaced promptly, and when the bedding concern was raised, our team worked to arrange replacement bedding as well as assistance with removing the owner items. We understand, however, that having to coordinate these things during a family vacation was frustrating, and we’re sorry the process felt like more work for you rather than a solution. The condition of the coffee area, rusted dishwasher rack, damaged closet shelving, and items stored throughout the unit is certainly not the standard we want for a KBM Resorts property. We regularly inspect and maintain the homes we manage, and we will be sharing these specific concerns with our local team for further review. Regarding the fleas and the flea/bed-bug spray you discovered, we understand why that would have been particularly concerning. We take pest-control matters seriously and routinely work with professional pest-control providers to help prevent and address these issues. We’re sorry we were only able to provide a 2-star experience, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. We’ll use your feedback to follow up with the appropriate teams and ensure the property is reviewed thoroughly.
